The basic goal of this Master's Thesis is an analysis and description of the current situation of a specific company in order to identification of potential development and design elements of strategy, which recons with identified state and development. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part there are defined knowledges related to the subject. These are the basis for process analysis in the practical part. The practical part is focused on the application of theoretical knowledge in a particular case of the company Novoplast that is currently heavily influenced by the course and consequences of the crisis. The conclusion is a summary of acquired knowledge and analysis outcomes with elements creation that should be a part of future business strategy of this company.
Strategic analysis of Drevis company

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to prepare a strategic analysis of Drevis company and pursuant to the results of this analysis formulate recommendations that will help company to operate more effectively and improve its position in the competitors fight. In the first part is the strategic analysis described from a theoretical point of view. The practical part of the Bachelor thesis first deals with the external analysis, where is used PEST analysis and Porter's five forces model. Further the Bachelor thesis deals with internal analysis which includes the identification and analysis of company resources and also analysis of company skills, where is used the value chain. Pursuant to the results of external analysis and internal analysis SWOT analysis is made and recommendations are formulated.
Company analysis and business strategy of company GAMA Fobos on domestic market and opportunities for cooperation with foreign countries

The dissertation is dealing with complex company analysis with the objective to define future company strategy. The thesis is following two basic lines. First one is definition of strategy on domestic market and second one is definition of strategy strategy on foreign market. Both strategies should be applicable and in accordance with company mission.

The objective of this diploma thesis is the characteristic and the evaluation of the human resources management, an examination of the individual personal activities and the suggestion of general changes to improve the activities in the human resources management and the competitive capacity of a company. This diploma contains the theoretical statement of the human resources management, its most important activities followed by a comparison of the personal activities in the selected company engaged in highway constructions. The analysis of the personal activities in the selected company was completed by results taken from written interrogation.
Market research and the prospectus of a particular company providing personal services

The subject of the thesis was ``Market research and the prospectus of a particular company providing personal services{\crqq} applied to the Wedding Agency MERCI with its main product - the ``turnkey wedding{\crqq}. The thesis principally aimed to analyze current market conditions as well as to propose a specific business plan. Proposing a founding budget, creating a form to learn the needs and desires of clients and finding out the background details necessary for drawing up an income tax return was one of the sub-objectives. An electronic questionnaire enquiry indicated that an interest in services of a wedding agency remains and that the potential of possible customers is sufficient for founding another small company in this sphere of business. The investment intensity is acceptable for the company{\crq}s founder, as all the costs concerning the founding of the wedding agency come from own resources. Four budgets of financially different weddings were drawn up as background information for the theoretical calculation of the trading income and the subsequent drawing up an individual income tax return. Furthermore, current market conditions were analyzed, particularly those of the general and trade surroundings, giving a base to the proposal of a specific business plan, including the proposal of the business budget as well as to a fictitious income tax return for the first year of business activities. The objectives of the thesis were met.
Crisis management as part of management of a chosen institution

The goal of this work is to specify the relation between crisis management and company control and to suggest possible application in implementing of crisis management principles into company control. The research was performed in the period 2003 {--} 2005. Crises of companies are significant and generally unexpected situations which threaten the goal of the company or its existence temporarily or permanently. The impact of such situation can significantly harm the company, its employees, products or services and public reputation. The crises are induced by the pressure of inner or outer events which make the management do urgent decisions. This can be downfall of the market, legislative restrictions, fall of the exchange rate (in foreign currency), unsuccessful innovation, new competitive product etc. The company which was analyzed offers more possibilities for application of crisis management. In the thesis we mention the relation of company control {--} director general and crisis management in certain division ``subordinate{\crqq} to director general. In the thesis we examined certain model situations when the crisis of a company can happen. The main reasons for crisis situations are loss of trade outlet, loss of consumers, competition, unfulfillment of production and overflow of production. Unreasonable overflow of manufacturing capacity results in unfulfillment of promised dates, deterioration in quality, and the outcome can be loss of the customer. All these situations can affect the company so it is important to be ready for them. The main recommendation for managing a company lie in consistent performance of economic and financial analyses and their inspection and evaluation. This will help the management of the company to identify beginning of a crisis. If the crisis situation occurs in a company, the management and owners of the company should consider if they involve crisis management in governing the company or if they want to solve the problems with current management. Although it is not apparent, current management is actually crisis management. Partial changes and suggestions are the following: looking for new trades, reinforcement in marketing and commercial section, permanent preparedness for crisis situations and preparedness of crisis plan, avoiding to be dependant on one customer and regular checking of trade and operative plans.
Financial analysis of the firm

I am trying to achieve that exist many problems while using financial analysis, I mean using of individual ratios, and it is not just an easy calculation. Very important aspect of financial analysis is quality examination of ratio development and no less important is an interpretation of realized results. I also refer to senselessness in using of so called optimal values of individual indicators of financial analysis and uniqueness of each firm which are often forgotten while comparing the firm with competitors, for example. Financial analysis needs quality data which credibility is good to check. External users have only one way how to find out financial situation of the firm and this way is the analysis of publicized financial reports. I also show disadvantages of this kind of analysis in an analytic part.
Business plan of company dealing with manufacturing of audio-design products

This diploma thesis has two goals: to conceive a business plan of an existing company Symbio Design s.r.o. and to find out whether the plan is viable or not. Symbio Design company deals with manufacturing of high-end audio-design products (loudspeakers and acustic-light objects) intended to be bought by sophisticated clients looking for non-standard equipment. That may be the company's problem as there are not many people falling within this segment. Also, even the associates-themselves do not have enough time to develop the business. In theoretical part of this thesis the concept of a business plan is explained -- its goals, who conceives it and who is it for. In the following practical part the business plan itself is introduced with all its proper parts: introduction of the company, analysis of the external and internal environment, SWOT analysis, company short-term and long-term goals, business strategy, financial analysis and sales-forecast. It is this part that is the most crucial. Not until here the reader will have the opportunity to find out the truth about viability of the business plan. Also, a brief public enquiry was conducted for the purpose of the business plan, especially its business strategy.
