Comparison of the environmental impact of different car's drive concept
Kopca, Filip ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
This thesis describes structure and operation of particular car‘s drive mechanisms, examine and compares their level of harmfulness against living environment. From acquisition, manipulation and distribution of raw material needed for manufacturing vehicles, amount of used propellant, production of emissions during life cycle, resources needed for maintenance, demands of waste disposal and possibilities of recycling.
Insulation influence on heat consumption
Gregor, Jiří ; Bokišová, Lenka (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyzethe energy budget of a house before and after heat cladding and to assess whether the heat cladding is perspective, if the invested money returns and to show the main advantages and disadvantages of cladding. Measured values from 1992 to 2012 are used in this thesis. Heat cladding in our house was done at the turn of 2003-2004 and in the same yearsthe old wood windows were replaced with new plastic ones.
Materials for Spring Fabrication
Sercel, Daniel ; Řičánková, Veronika (referee) ; Němec, Karel (advisor)
This work deals with an overview of materials for the manufacture of springs, their characteristics and use for various industrial applications. Then summarizes the thermal and mechanical processing of different materials and the impact of treatment on structure and properties. I gathered information from available publications and worked in this research.
Realization of rough upper construction of a residential building in the Tatranská Lomnice
Šifrová, Sláva ; Štěrba, Martin (referee) ; Novotný, Michal (advisor)
The object of this work is to address the technological stages gross surface works focusing on vertical structures masonry apartment building in the Tatranska Lomnica. The work is handled by the technical design of the building management, technological prescription bricklaying, compare several variants of material, design of machine assembly, situation constructions, technical management equipment, inspection and test plan, job security, time and financial plans.
Construction Technology study of building a house of the eko panels
Habarta, Tomáš ; Kopecký, Lukáš (referee) ; Diaz, Yvetta (advisor)
The object of the bachelor thesis is the description of the construction and technological study of building a family house from Ekopanel. It is an ecological diffusion free material in the form of panels, which are pressed at high temperature and pressure. Part of this technology study is time and financial plan of construction, basic concept of building operation, bill of quantities specified objects, technological regulation for the implementation anhydrite monolithic floors, precautionary measures of the construction site, listing of machinery and tools which are used, inspection and test plan and comparison of wooden buildings with brick building.
Book of Abstracts: 17th International Conference on the Strength of Materials
Dlouhý, Antonín ; Kunz, Ludvík
The Book of Abstracts covers twelve exciting scientific topics addressed by the International Conference on the Strength of Materials 17 (ICSMA 17). Eight excellent plenary speakers were selected based on the discussion and vote within the International Committee of ICSMA. The topics include not only traditional areas like cyclic or high temperature deformation and scale-bridging modeling but also still growing subjects of nano-micro scale experiments and the strength of biological systems. Moreover, the Local Organizing Committee, in cooperation with the Department of Materials Physics, Charles University in Prague, has decided to highlight the 80th anniversary of Prof. Pavel Lukáč, a brilliant international teacher and scientist. The thirteenth topic of the ICSMA 17 is thus dedicated to honour his contribution to materials research. Altogether, the Book presents 376 abstracts evenly distributed among the individual research areas that entered the scope of the conference.
Factual analysis and didactic curriculum of basic accounting current assets in the first concentric circle of the accounting for BA
Stuchlíková, Gabriela ; Fišerová, Marie (advisor) ; Berková, Kateřina (referee)
The bachelor thesis is focused on didactic analysis of current assets in the first concentric circle in the subject of accounting for business academies in the country. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The first is a list of teaching principles, teaching methods and the status of examples in teaching accounting. Finally, it gives an example to repeat and also a survey of teachers subject of accounting.
The X-ray CT lab and the research at the Institute of Geonics AS CR
Souček, Kamil ; Staš, Lubomír
In recent decades, non-destructive methods of materials analysis (Desrues 2006) have been used increasingly for the study of different kinds of materials. Especially, it concerns the method of the X-ray computed tomography (CT). This technique was invented in 1970's (Hounsfield 1972) and it quickly became an indispensable part of medicine. In the 1980's, this success in medicine encouraged the research and development of the X-ray CT applications in the field of materials engineering and consequently also in the field of geomaterials (Otani, Obara 2004). Nowadays, many applications are possible due to high resolution of individual building units in the tomographic cross-sections (so called voxels) with dimensions of units or tens of micrometres. To get this resolution, the use of the 2D and the 3D high-resolution X-ray CT, or the micro-CT with micro-focal sources of X-rays, and suitable linear or flat (2D) X-Ray detectors are preferred.
