First part of this graduation theses "Fundamental and technical analysis of the Telefonica O2 Czech Republic, a.s. equity" concern more about the teoretical approach of the characteristics of the company Telefonica O2, his competitors on the country level as well as on the regional level. This description should prepare the reader to know better the telecomunication sector. The second part is a empirical study. Primarily from the fundamental approach and then from the technical one. These two parts concern about discovering the "buy" os "sell" recommendation for a real investor. Each of the methods are first described and then a brief comment of the results is made.

The prediction of revenues of municipal budgets

The core theme of this bachelor thesis is the prediction of revenues of municipal budgets. For this work I have chosen budgets from the town Humpolec. The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to describe how Humpolec prepares the revenue side of the budget and evaluate which one of the methods of prediction is suitable. These methods of prediction are: simple moving average, exponential smoothing, transformation moving average, regression against time and expert's assessment of the town Humpolec. During the calculation of prediction I determined that the expert's assessment is not the most ideal prediction method for all tax revenues. The expert's assessment is the right prediction method for all types of the individual income tax and for the corporation income tax paid by municipalities. For the value added tax and corporation income tax it would be more suitable use the regression against time method. Transformation moving average is the best for prediction of fees. It is more complicated with real estate tax, because no method of prediction emerged as a definitive "winner". For this kind of tax revenue I would choose either the expert's assessment or the regression against time method. Through my research I have demonstrated that it is not recommended to use one method of prediction for all revenues; rather, it is better to assess each section and choose the method of prediction best suited to the specific revenue type.

Analysis of Information Systems for SMEs

At the beginning of the work deals with the reasons for the election of this theme, the setting of objectives and review the current labor market information systems in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part inclined to the definition and the definition of ERP system and the SME sector. This section includes the issue of security of information systems. The practical part contains the definition of the survey methodology, the requirements for the award of IS in SMEs, Defining criteria and performance of selected information systems. These systems are analyzed according to established criteria and detailed evaluation. In conclusion, I conducted an overall average of all sub-criteria, and pointed to the best evaluated information system.

Financial structure of a logistic and transfer company

The content of this bachelor thesis is represented by a financial structure of a specific firm. This firm is C.S. CARGO Inc., which belongs to the biggest truck transporters in the Czech republic. A part of this thesis is devoted to optimalising of the capital structure of a firm. Analytical part of the bachelor thesis starts with introducing of the starting financial structure of the analysed firm and this capital structure is used for calculating of weighted avarage cost of capital. Furthermore this thesis contains an analysis of an influence which would have IPO (at different size) on the capital structure of the firm concerning WACC.

Zásoby a srovnání úpravy ČR a IFRS

Práce je zaměřená na charakteristiku zásob, co vše se mezi zásoby řadí, jaké oceňovací základny se používají, např. FIFO, LIFO, aritmetický průměr. Jak mohou být zásoby v účetnictví evidovány a vedeny a jaká jsou specifika zásob vlastní výroby. Poté práce porovnává způsob účtování zásob podle české legislativy a podle IAS/IFRS, kde charakterizuje některé odlišnosti.

Financing of the higher education in the Slovak Republic

Práce obsahuje vymezení pojmu vzdělání, který může být chápán v různých souvislostech. Tato práce se nejvíce zaměřuje na aspekt vzdělání jako investice do lidského kapitálu. Zkoumá jednotlivé náklady a výnosy, které z něho plynou jak společnosti, tak samotnému jedinci. Pomocí zkrácené metody počítá jedincovu i společenskou míru návratnosti investice do terciálního vzdělání. Poukazuje na skutečnost, že tento druh investice je výhodný pro jednotlivce i společnost. Poslední část je věnovaná popisu systému školství na Slovensku. Rozebírá dotace, metody výpočtu dotací a přidělování dotací. Po přezkoumání způsobu financování VVŠ dochází k závěru, že slovenské VŠ disponují nižším množstvím zdrojů než je průměr krajin OECD.

Steps of the European Comission to Reduce the CO2 Emissions from Passenger Cars

The Bachelor Degree Thesis deals with the air pollution and emissions of CO2 from passenger cars. The EU signed the Kyoto protocol, which binds the member states to reduce emission of CO2 by 8% against the year 1990. While is reducing in other sectors succesfull, emissions in transport keep rising. That is why the European Comission decided to create a legislation to reach the average fleet emission target of 130 g/km with the motor vehicle technology and next 10 grams with other improvements like biofuels, ecodriving, better infrastructure or traffic lights. It means that in 2012 the fleet of a manufacturer should emit 120 g/km in average. The European Comission concerns with how to make the proposal equitable to all car manufacturers. The emission limit will probably be set by the weight of the car with the motivation of reducing the weight of cars. The thesis describes also negative social impacts, which the propsal might have. An opinion of many interested parties was taken into account. The exact legislation should be proposed soon.

Analysis of the Labor Market and Unemployment in the Karlovy Vary Region

Ve všech okresech Karlovarského kraje je nezaměstnanost vyšší než činí průměr ČR. Nejvážnější situace je v okrese Sokolov, kde nezaměstnanost dosahovala k 31.12.2006 11,46%. Mezi největší důvody, které způsobují tak vysokou nezaměstnanost patří zejména struktura hospodářství v kraji, přírodní a klimatické podmínky kraje, které znemožňují rozvoj zemědělství, nevyhovující dopravní infrastruktura kraje a špatná propojenost dopravních sítí s okolními kraji a se sousední Spolkovou republikou Německo. Největším problémem ale zůstává nízká kvalifikace uchazečů o nevhodná struktura vzdělávacího systému, který nereflektuje požadavky pracovního trhu. Mezi má doporučení k řešení nezaměstnanosti patří: podpora podnikání, snížení výdajů pasivní politiky zaměstnanosti a jejich přesun na výdaje aktivní politiky zaměstnanosti, snížení zákonné minimální mzdy a větší využívání prostředků z ESF.

Studie uplatnění osob se zdravotním postižením na trhu práce v České republice

Vysoká nezaměstnanost osob se zdravotním postižením je velký problém, který se nedaří příliš řešit. V následujících kapitolách se budu zabývat možnostmi pracovního uplatnění osob se zdravotním postižením, budu zkoumat jednotlivé nástroje státní politiky zaměstnanosti, aplikované jednak na zaměstnavatele, tak i na samotné osoby se zdravotním postižením, které mají vést ke zvýšení zaměstnanosti této znevýhodněné sociální skupiny. V poslední části práce provedu analýzu zaměstnanosti osob se zdravotním postižením na Domažlicku a budu zkoumat důvody, díky kterým je zde míra nezaměstnanosti této rizikové skupiny mnohem vyšší než celorepublikový průměr.

Práce zaměřena na problematiku účtování a oceňování zásob. Vysvětleny druhy a základní pojmy zásob. Charakteristika způsobů účtování zásob, průběžný a periodický. Objasněny techniky oceňování zásob, pořizovací cena, reprodukční pořizovací cena, vlastní náklady, LIFO, FIFO, vážený aritmetický průměr, pevné ceny s odchylkami. Popsány zvláštní případy účtování zásob: reklamace, nevyfakturované zásilky, zásoby na cestě, zásoby v celních skladech. Charakteristika inventur a inventarizací, postupy účtování inventarizačních rozdílů. Výskyt položek zásob v účetních výkazech a jejich použití při výpočtech ekonomických ukazatelů.
