Analysis of the meat performance of Sumava sheep in herd Michlova Huť
NOVÁKOVÁ, Iva
At the present time in Czech Republic we can see a growing number of sheep farming focused on meat performance. Sheep´s meat has a high quality and we can expect much higher demand for this product in the future despite its minimal present consumption in Czech Republic. Predominant concentration on meat performance of sheep is caused by sheep farmers through several factors that are modesty of meat breed, relatively easy farming technology and a wide range of marketing opportunities. At the same time it´s possible to combine this breeding way with the breeding of other animals and with various profit-making activities. The goal of this Bachelor thesis was an analysis of the meat performance level in herd of Sumava sheep in Michlova Huť. For this purpose I used information from the year 2009, 2010 and 2011, from which I deduced conclusions about this Sumava sheep farming. Based on these results the basic breeder recommendations to breeder community were deduced. Based on this analysis I found out, that the greatest average daily mass increase reached lambs in the year 2010 while the smallest values were noted in the year 2011. Concretely we see than the value of meat performance 216, 39 g/day in 2010 and the value 161, 25 g/day in 2011. The next conclusion is that there was no significant influence of paternal line on lamb´s meat performance during the observed period (2009, 2010 and 2011). Breed´s economy is on this farm very advantageous because there is the sheep farming combined with the raising livestock and other different services in the agriculture part. At the same time there are preferred the long-term strategies connected with the effectiveness and productivity of labour on farm Michlova Huť.

Analysis of chosen PIT's area
Kuklík, Tomáš ; Mervart, Michal (advisor) ; Jirsák, Petr (referee)
In my work I mention integrated transportation system(ITS), Prague integrated transportation (PIT) and analysis of the concrete bus line. ITS can be distinguish with several common signs. Basic characters are: basics of the network is capacitance railway transport, into the system are integrated more carriers, there is institueted unified tariff, vehicles of ITS have preferences over individual vehicle transportation. These are the basics, on which are connected more disposals and services, that have for object to make whole system more attractive. PIT is the biggest ITS in Czech republic, in which are integrated 17 different carriers. Into the system are integrated all kinds of transportation, including railways and ferries. During analysis of the particilar line was made transportation survey, was described attended area and its dependence on the particular line, were identified strong and weak sites.

Reportér - new magazine in the era of media convergence
Svobodová, Anežka ; Jirků, Jan (advisor) ; Osvaldová, Barbora (referee)
The era of media convergence brings new challenges for traditional media. Print magazines don't want to lose their readers, who are moving towards on-line media. The readership of print media is decreasing. Through internet, people gained access to information and therefore they push media to publish news as soon as possible. The emphasis on speed and effectivity is in conflict with presenting only information that have been doublechecked. This thesis is focused on analysing new Czech magazine Reportér, that was launched in year 2014. The magazine presents slow-journalism trend and offers timeless reading. It's the first magazine with this concept on Czech market. Every month it brings readers reportages from business, culture or society. Reportér magazine has also an on-line version. It includes all issues of the magazine that have ever been published, as well, as special stories that are only on-line. For this thesis, a research have been provided. Its goal was to find out whether are people interested in subscribing for digital archive of some print media and what is their attitude towards new media. The research have shown that people mostly use on-line news websites as sources. They are not interested in purchasing digital form of print media.

Conversion of formatting objects to ODF
Bodnár, Petr ; Kosek, Jiří (advisor) ; Pajas, Petr (referee)
This thesis deals with conversion of text documents from the format of so called formatting objects (XSL FO) to OpenDocument format (ODF). This conversion can be useful e. g. for distribution, printing or additional modification of a document in a text editor which supports ODF (e. g. OpenOffice). The thesis starts with description of both formats and it mentions basic elements that the formats offer for defining a text document. A comparison of both formats and description of possibilities of converting documents from XSL FO to ODF follows right after. The proved-by-practise and widely available XSLT transformation is chosen for the conversion implementation. It is illustrated on a sample application which enables to launch the conversion from an internet browser, from OpenOffice or from a command line.

Attitudes of nurses to nursing care for terminally ill clients in the long term care Departments
SCHMIDOVÁ, Žaneta
Terminal phase means gradual and irreversible failure of vital functions and organs ending in death. This state directly precedes death. We can understand terminal stage as dying itself. "Nevertheless the term dying must in no case be reduced to terminal phase" (Kelnarová, 2007, p. 10). It is the most demanding phase for a nurse and the whole team caring about a dying patient (Theová, 2002).This thesis deals with mapping nursing care of clients at terminal stage and the possibilities of coping with the care of dying clients and their family members for nurses. The research part was elaborated in the form of qualitative research. The aim was to obtain high quality data to given topic. The technique of semi structured in-depth interview was chosen as the most suitable method. Each respondent was given a number. Lines were subsequently numbered to enable references. The data were analysed by the paper-and-pencil method and four categories were created. Ten subcategories were created within the given categories. The information obtained was processed in schemes. The interviews were performed from February to April 2014.The research sample consisted of six nurses working at a long-term care department. The nurses were intentionally chosen in various categories to get the most objective possible data. There was also one man working at the position of a nurse. The respondents' answers showed that nurses working at the long-term care department have basic knowledge of the issue, are able to get oriented in the problems of dying, the terminal stage length, are able to describe the frequency of meeting with a dying client. The nurses cope well with satisfying the needs of terminally ill clients, they do not omit any of the needs. The nurses are capable of having holistic approach to clients. They take the demands of the care about a dying client as a part of their work, they make no difference and care about a dying person as of any other client at their department. They describe their experience with the dying and their families, they only describe communication with a dying client and his/her family as problematic and sometimes they are not sure whether they act correctly and are afraid of hurting someone. They communicate with such a client and his/her family according to their best conscience and they hope that their approach is the right one. The research has also shown that the nurses are able to prevent the burnout syndrome, they understand that they have to care about themselves, they must like their work, have positive approach to life. They perceive burnout syndrome as a problem, they try to prevent it and if they feel symptoms of inconvenience and dissatisfaction with their job they try to find the better aspects and not to give up. Except for one respondent, who describes herself as burned out. This is however given by the respondent's personality itself. The research shows that nurses have sufficient knowledge of the problems of terminally ill clients at their department, that they are able to provide quality nursing care. They however admit that sometimes they are not completely sure whether they treat a client correctly not to hurt him/her in given situation. After this fact was discovered a brochure was prepared giving nurses instructions for general approach to dying clients and help them minimize negative impact on a client.
