Building information modeling and possibilities of publishing a model
Horník, Ladislav ; Volařík, Tomáš (referee) ; Kuruc, Michal (advisor)
The master‘s thesis deals with the issue of BIM described on the Maximilian‘s farmyard building and subsequent operation with 3D data focused on creating functional families making and the possibilities of publishing and visualizing the model. The theoretical part presents the basics of the Building Information Modeling methodology. The practical part starts with describing the process of creating model families from the point clouds in the Autodesk Revit software environment. Selected variants of publishing and visualization of the resulting model are described and demonstrated on the resulting model of the building, especially using Autodesk Revit software and Unreal Engine 3D computer graphics game engine.
Residential Building with fitness centre
Bartakovič, Róbert ; Sláma, Ludvík (referee) ; Mohelníková, Jitka (advisor)
The submitted bachelor's thesis deals with a project documentation for the construction of a new apartment building with a fitness center in the town of Kuřim near Brno. The building has one underground floor and five above ground. In the basement there is a collective garage with 24 parking spaces, including two spaces for disabled people. On the first floor is a non-production facility which is a fitness center with a spacious terrace. Other above-ground floors have housing units. The building is designed as a monolithic reinforced concrete skeleton with infill masonry from ceramic blocks. Perimeter walls above ground level are insulated with the ETICS contact thermal insulation system. The roof of the building is flat, single-skinned. The project documentation is developed using the BIM methodology.
Visualization of information model of infrastructure project in game environment Unreal Engine
Paruza, Filip ; Kubíčková, Miroslava (referee) ; Volařík, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelors thesis task is data collection as a foundation for creating a thematic railway map and for creating a visualization of information model of infrastructure project. This thesis is about BIM technology, locality, preparatory and measuring works, calculations and subsequent creation of a 3D model using different software, from which the most used will be software Revit, until the final adjustments in Unreal Engine.
Kindergarten
Frieb, Vilém ; Struhala, Karel (referee) ; Jelínek, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this master project is to design a nearly zero-energy building of kindergarten. The kindergarten is designed as one storey building with capacity of 40 children split into two playrooms. Playrooms are separated and each of them has own sanitary facilities and locker room. Playrooms have large windows with external blinds on the south to provide solar gains. There is horizontal sun breaker above the windows which prevent overheating in summer. Load bearing walls are made of sand lime blocks. Walls are insulated with mineral wool board. Roof ceiling is made of prestressed concrete slabs. The building has a flat extensive green roof. The second task of the project includes design of lighting, rainwater harvesting, HVAC, source of heat and photovoltaic system. The third part is theoretical and includes searching for an ideal source of energy for the building. There are two types of heating compared such as gas boiler and a groundwater heating pump. The main software used for the project is Revit.
Revitalization of a multi-purpose building in the village
Federla, Jakub ; Nováková, Eva (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
The aim of master‘s thesis is to renovate old agricultural building and design it as nzeb building. The thesis contains three parts: 1st – design of the building, 2nd – design of building services, and 3rd – assessment of the impact of different operations in building on energy consumption. The results are then evaluated for economic and environmental savings. The renovated building in village Rozkoš will be used for many purposes. It will be divided into 3 parts – a multifunctional hall, a pub, and a club room. Multifunctional hall will be used for various activities for village itself or public. In the pub will be only cold kitchen with small dishes and beverages. Club room can be used for elderly people, workout or young people. The building is low rise and structural system is combined. The vertical load-bearing walls and columns are built of bricks. Horizontal load-bearing structures are cross vaults made also of bricks. Saddle roof is made of timber roof truss. The building site contains also an outdoor car park and a garden. The project was carried out in the Revit.
Building budgeting as part of building information modeling (BIM)
Průša, David ; Hanák, Michal (referee) ; Tichá, Alena (advisor)
The main aim of this task deals with analysis of the possibility of valuing building budgets in the building information model (BIM). The work is divided into two parts. The first, research part, presents the necessary definitions and concepts, such as definitions of BIM, LOD, CDE, which are needed for working with (BIM) software. The second, practical part, analyses possible ways to determine building budgets using the building information model on one building, which was modeled in the student version of Graphisoft ArchiCAD 24.
Bus terminal building - static analysis
Fišman, David ; Jurík,, Michal (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with the construction and design solution of the bus terminal project in Liberec. The building consists of three floors with different functions. In terms of structural shape, the entire length of the building consists of a cross-section of a two-storey, asymmetrical cantilever suspended on both sides. The main load-bearing structure of the roof contributes along its entire circumference to the load-bearing capacity of the lower ceiling by a system of ties. The design was defined by a feasibility study of the project, which established the concept of the appearance of the structure. The main target of the thesis was to design the solution of the load-bearing structure and then perform static analysis, dimensioning and assessment by the method of limit states according to the corresponding ČSN EN. The solution of the construction consists mainly of reinforced concrete elements which are suitably combined with steel parts. Elements of reinforced concrete are designed as monolitic or prefabricated. For the most loaded two-sided cantilever was designed reinforced concrete variant and prestressed variant. The thesis was made in its extent in a BIM compatible design.
The use of BIM in water management work
Chládová, Zuzana ; Remeš, Josef (referee) ; Duchan, David (advisor)
This diploma thesis addresses Building Information Management (BIM) and its application in water management. The basis of the work is broad research on BIM. Subsequently, the application of BIM is demonstrated in the construction of a small hydroelectric power plant in the Litovel water management node. To conclude, the added value of using BIM and its possible disadvantages for water management are formulated.
Use of the BIM Method for a LCA Studies and Digitalization of Construction Industry - a Review
Brandtner, Michal ; Boháček, Adam
The construction industry is a strategically important sector for the Czech economy in terms of production or job creation. However, it is one of the least digital industries. One of the means of digitizing the construction industry is the introduction of the BIM method. Impacts on the environment of buildings and the use of human resources are a topic that has recently increased in interest in professional and lay society. There is a clear social need for a connection between the LCA and BIM methods. Life Cycle Assessment is a method of assessing the life cycle of a product or service in terms of its environmental impact. The article contributes to the body of the theoretical knowledge and assumptions with a new summary of findings and conclusions about the LCA and BIM connections.
Valuation Using RTS BIM
Průcha, Aleš
This article deals with valuation using BIM. The aim of this article is to appraise the construction using the BIM model in cost approach. The article deals with the description of BIM implementation and the need for BIM in construction. It contains a description of valuation methods, including the valuation of selected structures by individual methods. The individual methods are compared with the cost approach using RTS BIM.
