Business Plan

The subject of this thesis is to develop a business plan for a newly rising company that will provide basic and at the same time essential needs for everyone, whether a new or existing entrepreneur or company (keeping of accounting, tax return processing and its optimization, graphic design and website creation). The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part, whereas in the theoretical part I am mainly dealing with functions, principles and structure. Based on the structure and methodology outlined in the theoretical part I made a practical part, whose output is a business plan with a proposal delivery, whether the project in question is worth being carried out. A key part of developing the thesis was a thorough consultation with experts based on work experience. Their selection is described in the methodology and the questions asked are included in the annex.
Website audit of Nestlé company

Abstract The main purpose of this thesis is to analyse websites and Facebook profiles of chosen brands of Nestlé company and their competition. This thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with basics of methodology of evaluating websites and Facebook profiles and consists of following parts: graphics and design of websites, visibility on the internet, SEO, information, technical solutions, applicabillity, accessibility and Facebook. All these parts are essential for assessment methodology. The practical part contains the assessment itself according to created methodology. Eleven selected websites and facebook profiles are assessed here. Furthemore, all results are summerized in this part and conclusions as well as recommendatins are drawn from them. The main contribution of this diploma thesis is a comprehensive comparison of selected websites and Facebook profiles of Nestlé company and recommendations made on the basis of the comparison.
Processing and educational benefits of the website of the Department of Health Education in Faculty of Education, University of South Bohemia.

The thesis illustrates the effectiveness of the website used at the Health Education Department at the University of South Bohemia, as the way how to deliver knowledge from the field of theory to the field of health education. The significant element of the work is to look at the transmission of electronic information using the Internet, and evaluate the effectiveness of educational websites based on the fixed criteria.The aim of the research is to gather the opinions on visual, and contents of the processing data of the Health Education Website, that may help to enhance web-site.
Mobile touch-screen devices and website usability

The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the role of usability in relation to the expansion of mobile touch-screen devices. It studies how the purchase decisions of users of these devices can be influenced and how to avoid unnecessary web usability obstacles. The practical part examines mobile traffic and usability of selected online stores. Based on the practical and theoretical knowledge there are recommendations for creating an accessible and usable website, evaluation of the potential benefits and calculation of payback period of an given investment.

The bachlor thesis Presentation on the Internet of the company: Current options analyzes ways how to promote the restaurant Svatý Prokop. Methods used by restaurants are very dependent on the financial and time availability. Often these are family businesses, where most of the promotional activities are carried out by managers, who can not perform these activities to the extent needed. Conclusion of the thesis is a proposal how to improve promotion due to accessibility for the examined restaurant.
The Internet as a tool of communication and business promotion

The paper deals with the Internet as a tool of business promotion and marketing communication. It contains a general definition of marketing communication, integrated communication and online communication. The paper partly deals with importance of the Internet, and its future as well. It provides an outline for the current use of the Internet as a medium for company's online presentation. The paper is in detail focusing on efficient design of websites, graphic and context advertising, advertising through social networks and online PR. The practical part includes the description of Internet utilization for marketing communication and promotion in the company Clever Decision. The aim of the paper is to assess the Internet as a medium which is nowadays becoming more and more favoured. The benefit of the paper is to make recommendations for the company, which should improve its online presentation and raise effectiveness of its marketing activities.
E-commerce and social networks in small businesses

The diploma thesis focuses on e-commerce in small businesses in connection with marketing and social networks. The first chapter focuses on the marketing processes and the possibility of use of the Internet in small businesses. In the second chapter I deal with the rules of creation of the corporate website, I describe several Internet tools to promote the website (Google Analytics) and deal with search engine optimization (SEO). The third chapter is devoted to social media and a number of case studies describing the use of the social network Facebook in marketing. The final chapter four is the result of the previous chapters, all the theoretical findings are applied to the two real companies AS. ROVI, s.r.o. and METRO FLORENC, s.r.o. In conclusion I am summarizing the facts mentioned above and set out recommendations for both companies and small businesses in general. This thesis was designed as a guide for small businesses -- for them to be thaught how to effectively use modern Internet tools to improve their own promotion and hence profit.
International comparison of the use of e-business

In the Czech Republic, more than a third of all businesses with 10 or more employees buy their goods or services via computer networks. In contrast, more than a fifth of all businesses sale using at least one form of e-commerce. Common citizen can get this kind of information, for example, from media, newspaper or spoken word, but without wider context they have got only general information value. Electronic business, which e-commerce is part of, is a large area which depends on many factors, such as the legislation of the country, its economic maturity or level of computer literacy. The purpose of this work is to bring the closer look about the various forms of e-commerce and especially to analyze their current state, business sector development in the Czech Republic for the last few years and make a comparison with EU countries. The analytical part of this work is based on data obtained from the database of the Czech Statistical Office.
