Design and verification of compensatory program in school categories in floorball team Štíři České Budějovice
RAMPOVÁ, Monika
This bachelor thesis is focused on the design and verification of the compensation program for Midget Category floorball team Scorpions Czech Budejovice. In the research participated 14 years-old players. Due to the nature of the sport characterized by physical demand, but also tilt to one side of the body, floorball players tend to suffer from muscle disbalance. For this reason, the players did entrance testing for selected muscle groups, so it could be found out to what extent were muscles shortened. Subsequently seven months compensation program was developed and implemented twice a week. During the compensation program the second testing was carried out and at the end output testing was measured. For deep bent, we measured an average value of 28.7 cm during the entrance testing and 32.3 cm at the output. In the thigh adductors, average input value was 65.3 degrees and in average 78.4 degrees was measured after the whole compensation program. In the left part of iliopsoas muscle the number of players with shortened muscle decreased from five to three players and in the right part from six to four players. At first five players had shortened the left pectoralis major muscle and three players had shortened right side. Thanks to the stretching exercise, we managed to reduce the number of players with shortened pectoral muscles in four cases on the left and in one case on the right side. During the entrance test six players failed to do left stretch arm backward and during the output testing three players. Decrease from seven to five players was measured in the same exercise with right hand.
Determining the most common functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system of primary school children, particularly in the 1st and 2nd grade at elementary schools in Strakonice
KOVÁŘOVÁ, Veronika
In summary of findings we first address problems of correct and poor posture. We present methods how to easily detect function disorders of locomotive system, their basic characteristics, and how to compensate such disorders, or how to prevent them completely. The research focuses on determination of the most common function disorders in children of young school age. Total of 384 children from 1st and 2nd grades of all elementary schools in Strakonice participated in the survey. The following methods were chosen evalutation of posture according to Jaroš and Lomíček, which disclosed that the most common function disorders apply to lower limbs. Testing according to Matthias showed that 33 % of children suffer from poor posture. The research includes a questionaire, which helped us to find out that poor posture occurs less frequently in children who pursue physical activities.
Annotated translation: Do Women Pay for German Reunification?
Bernasová, Mariana ; Žárská, Monika (advisor) ; Veselá, Gabriela (referee)
The thesis focuses on translation of an extract of a dialogue from the book called Bezahlen die Frauen die Wiedervereinigung? and on commentary on this translation. Apart from the Introduction and Conclusion there are two parts that play central role: the Translation itself and the above mentioned Commentary. The Commentary consists of four chapters. Translation Analysis of the Original Text Based on Ch. Nord's Model describes extratextual and intratextual factors of the original text. Features of the Original Text and First Insights into Problems of Translation takes functional-structuralist approach, describing different levels of the language used, focuses on tricky parts in the translation and thus links the analysis of the original with the translation. Method of Translation sets strategy for the translation of the original, based on conclusions of the two previous chapters. Typology of Translation Solutions and Unavoidable Shifts - Concrete Examples puts the method into practice, gives examples and comments on problems.
Diabetes mellitus type I. and physical activity
Douša, Martin ; Radvanský, Jiří (advisor) ; Procházka, Michal (referee)
The bachelor's thesis deals with diabetes mellitus type 1 and the opportunity of compensation by adequate physical activity, focusing on middle age and older patients, having suffered from diabetes for a long period of time. The thesis focuses on the different attributes of the burden, affecting the daily life of patients with diabetes. For better understanding and clarity of the issue, the work is divided into several chapters and sections dealing separately with the influence of physical activity and potential profits from regular, properly indicated motion for compensated patients. The thesis also describes involution changes occurring in the aging organism, which are always necessary to be taken into consideration when selecting a physical activity. The work is supplemented with pictures and graphs in the annex that enable a better show, and outline the issues. In my work, I not only try to show the positive influence of a wellchosen physical activity in patients with diabetes, but also highlight the potential risks and hazards coming from an improperly chosen therapy. Furthermore, I attempt to offer the chance to look at this type of therapy from several different perspectives. My aim is to show that a properly chosen physical therapy in individually selected range and performance should be much more...
Drive Vertical Saddle of Machining Centre by Linear Motor
Zapletal, Radek ; Andrýsek, Radim (referee) ; Foller, Bronislav (advisor)
The diploma dissertation deals with the mechanism of vertical movement of a saddle of high-speed machining centre which is made by the Trimill company. The movement of vertical alloy saddle is solved by ball screw. The solution could be improved by replacing the ball screw by linear motor. This will dramatically improve the dynamics of the movement of the vertical saddle. In addition, if the weight is compensated by pneumatic relief and the construction is welded, the dynamics will further improve.
The reactive power compensation of the industrial consumer
Pospíšil, Zdeněk ; Holoubek, Jiří (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the reactive power compensation. The reactive power compensation falls into an important measures reducing current load of electrical grids and other equipments, which increase its lifespan and decrease energy losses. The bachelor thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part is explained the theory necessary for good understanding of compensation, explained the sanctions and the additional fees for unsatisfactory power factor and summarized the impacts of compensation on the electrical network. Further is shown the basic classification of compensation by its place of connection, type of compensation device and regulation. The end of theoretical part is dedicated to the simple calculation of compensation. The practical part deals with the real design of the reactive power compensation for a particular industrial consumer.
Passive shunt filtration and compensation
Urant, Tomáš ; Novotný, Jan (referee) ; Drápela, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work is to acquaint the reader with the theoretical and practical design filtration-compensation device. The theoretical part describes the problems of reactive power compensation and harmonic filtering components. There are described various methods and implementation of compensation and filtration-compensation devices. In the practical part is the theoretical basis used for the realization of a laboratory model of filtration-compensation device for precisely specified load with precisely specified requirements. In laboratory model can be seen meaning of filtering harmonics by using of simple hand switching individual filters.
Impact of conventional compensation to the volumetric accuracy of the machine tool
Žák, Zdeněk ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Holub, Michal (advisor)
This thesis solves the impact of conventional compensation to the volumetric accuracy of the CNC machine. It is therefore a practical research work, where are in the theoretical introduction mentioned requirements for machine tools, the types of errors that can occur on three-axis kinematics, compensation for the control system Siemens Sinumerik 840D sl and devices by means of which are these compensation under the work formed and subsequently verified. In this work can be seen the measured values and graphs from each measurements, a detailed analysis of the results and drawing conclusions from these results.
Power engineering issues of electrothermal devices
Popelář, Vojtěch ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Lázničková, Ilona (advisor)
Electric furnaces are one of the largest consumers of elektricity. They have a large negative impact on the electricity grid. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize their work process. The thesis deals with energetic problems of high power electric furnaces. The first part provides a theoretical overview of types of electric furnaces, their types, properties and possibility of connecting to the electricity grid. For this work were selected resistance furnaces, induction furnaces and arc furnaces. The second part analyzes the problem of correcting power factor cos and the problem of unbalanced electricity consumption. For both these problems are given the possibilities for removing or reducing the negative characteristics of these phenomena. At the end of this section is an example of compensating equipment design and symmetrizating device design for selected types of electric furnaces.
Energetic problems of induction electroheat equipments
Milka, Jiří ; Paar, Martin (referee) ; Lázničková, Ilona (advisor)
Induction heating is mostly used for melting metal materials in metallurgy. The principle of induction heating comes from electromagnetic induction which generates eddy currents heating the charge in electrically conducting material. The first part of the bachelor thesis is devoted to the principle of induction heating. Further, there are possibilities of applying the induction heating in electro heat devices mentioned. As the paper is focused on energy problems appearing when getting connected to the grid, the second part of the paper contains explanation – both theoretical and on examples - of compensation and symmetrization of induction electro heat devices.
