Application of secondary metallurgy during steel manufacture
Trojan, Jiří ; Haluza, Jakub (referee) ; Záděra, Antonín (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis is a technical summary describing the aplication secondary metalurgy. It’s explained principle of every proces and his possibility and aplication.
Friction and air feeders for paper sheets
Svoboda, Ondřej ; Košťál, David (referee) ; Brandejs, Jan (advisor)
The thesis is focused on summarizing the evidence on the issue of paper sheets feeding at the final processing of documents. The thesis includes dividing of paper feeders, their characterization, and description of friction and air feeders, which are most widespread. As a model for the description methods of sheets feeding were used machinery CFM 700 and GPM 540A of Cyklos company. The thesis also compares friction and air feeding from the constructional point of view. The conclusion focuses on the new methods in the paper feeding in future.
Pressure measurement
Jakubec, Jan ; Císařová, Michaela (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The project elaborated in a scope of engineer studies in branch 2301R016 submits summary of various methods of pressure measurement. Literary study draws up possibilities and variants of pin-pointing the absolute, relative and barometric pressure, suction, excess pressure and vacuum with analysis of its significance for engineering procedures. Main area is pressure of fluid, piston and bell-shaped gauges, deformation and electrical with examples of their practical use in engineering.
Solar heating tap water
Kracík, Petr ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the heating of hot service water by means of solar energy through solar collectors. At the beginning the author describes the most frequent methods for heating of service water in Czech houses with the help of electrical energy, fossil fuel, gas and central heat supply, including the input expenses for buying equipment. The author describes a solar system and his basic elements and suggests two variants with supplement heating by means of electrical energy, which compares with electrical heating of service water. The overall thesis is conceived as a review of possibilities of heating hot service water in households with economical budget at the end of the work.
The design of automatized working place for product assembly
Rusnák, Jakub ; Sýkora, Jan (referee) ; Bradáč, František (advisor)
This thesis is deal with design solution of the part of automatized working place, concretely inset-paper manipulator. The first part describes working place. After that fallows design of effecter, manipulator construction and pro-pulsions. In the last part is solved pneumatic system. The part of thesis is 3D model of inset-paper manipulator.
Development of UHV STM/AFM
Pavelec, Jiří ; Neuman, Jan (referee) ; Kalousek, Radek (advisor)
The main focus of the thesis is on the actuator, which is used for nanopositioning of laser beam in-site AFM (Atomic Force Microscopy). The appropriate shape of supply pulse and frequencies were searched and optimized. They make slip-stick motion of the piezo actuator. Possibilities of solving troubles with UHV (Ultra High Vacuum) are described on the basis of experiment and simulation.
Morphology study of organic molecular compounds thin films
Schön, Martin ; Vala, Martin (referee) ; Salyk, Ota (advisor)
This thesis deals with morphology study of organic molecular thin film compounds. The vapour deposition was used for thin films preparation. There are described used vacuum technology and measuring instruments in the theoretical part. In the second part is then described the experiment. The characteristics and morphology of thin films have been analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). Influence of deposition temperature and distance between substrate holder and evaporator boat on film morphology have been analyzed. Diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP) thin films have interesting chemical and physical properties, expecting wide range of applications, especially in electronics industry.
Preliminary results on Type I and II Kaluza–Klein reductions of vacuum spacetimes
Tintěra, Tomáš
We review the formalism used for the algebraic classification of higher- dimensional spacetimes, together with a few basic results in this field. Then we use this formalism to discuss some problems involving type I and II Kaluza–Klein reductions of vacuum spacetimes and to present a few results.
Kontrola vakua a plynového systému pro tokamak COMPASS
Janky, F. ; Pereira, T.V. ; Santos, B.A. ; Hron, Martin
This paper is aimed at creating a vacuum and a gas handling subsystem. The new vacuum and the gas handling subsystem was developed at IPP/Prague after the COMPASS tokamak reinstallation. It was necessary to build a system which can operate 24/7 and be fully autonomous. A firmware programmed in the C programming language controls devices connected to the vacuum and the gas handling subsystem. The firmware is programmed at dsPICr Microchip r embedded at a board assembled at IST Lisbon. The vacuum and the gas handling are connected through fiber optics to a server computer and can be controlled remotely through a workstation situated at the control room
