Mikulová, Veronika ; Zeman, Karel (advisor) ; Vebrová, Ludmila (referee)
Bachelor's thesis will focus on the restitution process, emphatically on ecclesiastic restitutions in the Czech Republic. This topic is very actual and discussed today, because at present Church still makes new restitution claims, however on a little different way than there is solved settlement of "common competent persons" claims. In the theoretical part there will be briefly described overall transformation of the national economy. Main emphasis will be placed on an explanation of restitution process principles, namely in three legal regimes in the Czech Republic within systemic changes of the national economy. In the second part, analytical, there will be main view to restitution process development in the Czech Republic according to law 229/1991. Further I will focus on an analysis of differences during restitutions of "common people" and restitutions of Churhes possesions. I will try to find the answer on the question if required Church demands are according to valid laws of the Czech Republic, to Declaration of Basic Rights, eventually to the other standards. In the final part I will evaluate Church procedure in the restitution process, I will investigate if there are not happening atypical claims setting up during property composition, what will be main point of this work.

Kupera, Adam ; Keyzlarová, Sandra (referee) ; Vágner, Jiří (advisor)
5 ABSTRACT The research on garden colonies in Czechia follows an ongoing focus of the Department of Social Geography and Regional Development (Faculty of Science, Charles University) on specific forms of recreation in Czechia, specifically on projects concerning individual short-term recreation and secondary housing. The goal of this diploma thesis is to provide a comprehensive image of gardening in selected model regions of the Czech Republic, offer possible outlook, compare and evaluate current state and changes in functional use of garden colonies and analyze causes of their transformation. To accomplish this goal, we analyzed results of questionnaires and terrain investigations conducted in the individual model regions. One of the most important items of the study was the analysis of changes in functional use of the gardening colonies. We also evaluated selected characteristics of the gardening colonies and compared results from individual model regions. The conclusion of this analysis and evaluation is that in addition to the continuing production function of gardens and their substantial social-economic function, gardens also serve as a place for both psychic and stamina regeneration and a place of recreation. The gardens are also being transformed to objects of secondary housing or permanent...

Healing of cultural varieties paniculate phlox (Phlox paniculata) from nematodes using in-vitro cultures
Nogly, David ; Matiska, Pavel (advisor) ; Augustinová, Ludmila (referee)
Phlox paniculata belongs to the family Poleminiaceae. Phlox paniculata is very important perenial which is used in commons gardens, park landscaping and also to product cut flowers. Although garden phlox are classified as resistant plants to pests and pathogens, they suffer from leaf and stem nematodes of genus Ditylenchus spp. Method eliminating these nematodes from plants for 100 % is still unknown. This thesis investigate the possibility of eliminating nematodes by using explant cultures and creating healthy plants for future mother plants of Phlox paniculata. For this experiment was chosen 10 varieties, 'Aňa Gaganova', 'Blue Paradise', 'Errötense Mädchen', 'Molodost', Igor Talkov', 'Jubilee', 'Laura', 'Mies Copijn', 'Sekret' and 'Winsdor'. These plants were also researched for regeneration of calluses and growing ratio of shoots according to their varietes. Plants were tested for presence of nematodes Ditylenchus dipsaci by using modified Baermann Technique. All varietes of Phlox paniculata were grown in greenhouse and all of them were tested. For experiment were chosen leaf segments measuring 0,5 - 1 cm2 and the cultivation took place on MS medium (Murashige and Skoog 1962) + 30 g sucrose, pyridoxine 0,5 mg. l-1, thiamine 0,5 mg. l-1, glycine 2 mg. l-1 , nicotinic acid 0,05 mg. l-1. Leaf segments were placed to MS medium enriched by 1,5 mg . l-1 TDZ (Thidiazuron) and 0,5 mg . l-1 IAA (Indole-3-acetic acid). Callus regeneration at the level of plant growth regulators was almost fully vertified during this experiment. Best results were obtained from follow varieties 'Aňa Gaganova', 'Blue Paradise', 'Errötense Mädchen' and 'Molodost'. These results were also obtained from repeated experiment. Positive influence of controlled conditions to growing shoots and callus regeneration was also proved. Explants which were grown in controlled conditions reached higher efficiency on average 0,33 shoots per callus. By successful recovery of the plants from pests Ditylenchus dipsaci using explantate cultures, it was verifed the initial hypothesis, where resulting explants are transferred to ex-vitro conditions were 100 % pest free. Although, callus cultures grown on MS medium of 1,5 mg . l-1 TDZ and 0,5 mg . l-1 IAA showed some degree of nematode occurrence during testing, consequent passage eliminated the remaining population of nematodes.

Macroeconomic View of Development and Current Condition of Economy of Zimbabwe
Hornofová, Petra ; Stará, Dana (advisor)
Zimbabwe's independence was declared in 1980. At that time local government took over a very prosperous economy which had almost no competition on the African continent. Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe who is in office since the establishment of the state until now and is known for his controversial decisions brought the local economy into a recession. This economic decline has had a great impact on the population and it has escalated in a humanitarian crisis. Hyperinflationary episode in Zimbabwe has brought with itself a very high rate of unemployment and the large depreciation of the local currency, which is not already in use. Zimbabwean Dollar was replaced by other currencies like US dollar or the South African rand. To understand this issue it is necessary to analyze the possible causes of the hyperinflation that were originated mainly in the local government system. Currently in Zimbabwe is continuing several various government programs to stabilize and refresh its economy. In case of keeping current relative political stability has Zimbabwe's economy chance to to return itself slowly into original state of prosperity.

Management model of project-oriented organizations of social sphere
PROKEŠOVÁ, Radka
The thesis "Management model of project-oriented organizations of social sphere" deals with the proposal of a management model for project-oriented organizations of social sphere using monitoring and evaluation processes. The proposed management model was based on qualitative research conducted in the selected institution, which was the Institute of Social Work of the Faculty of Health and Social Studies. (Institute of Social Work ? ISW). The reason for selecting this institution was the variety, scope of activities undertaken and development phase of the institution. Currently, as an integral part of institutions focusing on practical social work with the client is considered not only strategic management but also project management which favorably influences the efficiency of services as well as provides the possibility of obtaining resources for their financing. The degree of success of these projects is positively influenced by the processes of monitoring and evaluation, both in the planning phase of the project and during its implementation. On the basis of the qualitative research was proposed a management model for the selected Institute of Social Work. The management model is based on a set of monitoring and evaluation indicators that were, using synergy effects, incorporated in the proposal of database systems of ISW. Based on the values of proposed indicators obtained from the database system we can not only monitor but also assess the performance of the Institute of Social Work. Some of the indicators can be used to design development strategies of the ISW. The applicability of the established management model was assessed by the experts from different fields of management, but similarly focused institutions, in the form of semi-structured interview. Based on the expert opinion, this management model is applicable to other similarly oriented organizations. The model, according to the experts, would bring improvements in management of project-oriented organizations of social sphere with similar focus as the ISW.

Leaks of dangerous chemical substances in the territory of the town Pilsen
KUČEROVÁ, Andrea
The topic of my thesis is: "Leaks of dangerous chemical substances in the territory of the town Pilsen". I have been dealing with this very hot issue, because there are more and more chemical substances around us. We can find a lot of companies producing, using and having these substances in stock, so we cannot rule out smaller or larger leaks. They usually have negative impacts on human health and life, animals, environment or the leak can cause high material damage. It is necessary to take new measures to decrease results of leak of dangerous chemical substances. In the theoretical part of my work I described some dangerous chemical substances, rules for behaviour and arrangments during the leaks of dangerous chemical substances. In the practical part I evaluated statistic records about leaks of dangerous chemical substances and I valuated talks with experts of public administration in the area of Pilsen town. I carried out my own modulation of ammonia leak in the programme ,,TerEx? and by that I gained an area of public danger where I performed an investigation among people. In my work there was verified a hypothesis whether the people living round the object with dangerous chemical substances have some knowledge about the individual protection. I came to conclusion that this hypothesi can be confirmated due to out comes of my questionary research ? our inhabitants are endowed with the needy useful knowledge (as I have been persuaded by). In my work I found out and important piece of knowledge that there had been only one leak of dangerous chemical substance some ammonia leak from the Pilsner ´´PRAZDROJ a.s.´´. It was an acceptional situation and it did not have any serious effect on people and environment. I would like to recommend only one thing ? to increase public awareness about possible danger in the place of domicile. It is necessary to say that people are only exceptionally interested in these safety questions. This work can be used within the public administration in the field of emergency management and accidental planning for (preparation of) inhabitants´ protection. It can also be used as some study material.

Planning in business valuation with emphasis on rate of growth and on invested capital
Jahodová, Lucie ; Mařík, Miloš (advisor) ; Marek, Petr (referee) ; Hrdý, Milan (referee)
The main goal of this thesis is to suggest a concept of financial planning for business valuation. Entry chapters are dedicated especially to the examination of differences between financial plan as one of company's activities and plan for business valuation. In the following chapter key parameters essentially influencing company's value (value drivers) are described. Two of them are accented: rate of growth and invested capital which is necessary for company's main business including its rate of return. I examine an impact of historical growth of the company, growth based on analyst's estimates and fundamental growth of the company on company's growth rate in the extraordinary growth period (first stage). In the next part I pay attention to factors and empirical studies influencing long term rate of growth. Then the rate of similarity of accounting invested capital and invested capital for business valuation and its impact on rate of return of invested capital is analysed. I point out intangible assets and in Czech accounting principles financial leasing assets. Then the relationship between rate of return of invested capital and costs of capital is described; the length of the first stage is suggested; use of models, which are necessary for transition of the company to its steady state is suggested; there are company's key characteristics, which change together with stabilization of the company, identified and there are advantages and disadvantages of value drivers formula and Gordon growth formula discussed. An empirical study dealing with planning for business valuation in the Czech Republic, where business valuation experts took part, was accomplished. The results of the study are presented in several different parts of this thesis.

Internet Services Portal Analysis
Burian, Petr ; Šedivá, Zuzana (advisor) ; Skalka, Jaroslav (referee)
Fast development of services in the area of internet technology requires continuous research and development of software products, including information portals. Absence of documentation often limits the development of software products and increases the costs of maintenance of the product. It is essential to maintain or prepare, in case it is absent, quality documentation of the software in use to continue in portal's controlled development. Subject of this work is the analysis of services of internet information portal focused on tourism, specifically camping. The goal of the paper is to focus in detail on all services offered at the portal and subsequently analyse their benefits for the portal's users. We introduce basic terminology of internet portals. We introduce rules of usability and accessibility of web pages and their application for portal services. We describe the method of reverse engineering, that I use for update of the documentation of the services. The analysis is split in two phases. In the first phase, each service is described in detail and service's representation at higher abstraction level is created via reverse engineering. In the second phase we carry out and review questionnaire research. The research focuses on usage of the services by a group of potential customers. Based on the research carried out we conclude on recommendations about changes in further operation of the system.
