The EU regulation of roaming services and its impacts on company T-Mobile Czech Republic, a.s.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the impacts of European Union's roaming regulation on company T-Mobile Czech Republic, a.s. For customers, reducing of roaming prices is a welcome step, on the other hand, telecommunication companies have a different opinion and the impacts on companies are doubtful. In the theoretical part I will try to describe the roaming service and introduce the content of roaming legislative regulation, which the company must follow when creating roaming strategy. The practical part will include the real impacts of European Union's roaming regulation on company T-Mobile Czech Republic, a.s., such as usage of roaming services, new roaming tariffs or company's financial indicators. At the conclusion I will try to predicate possible future roaming development because lately talking about the abolition of roaming fees, which could mean the completion of the single European market in telecommunications.
Buying Behaviour in m-Commerce

The topic of my diploma thesis concerns the buyer behavior of costumers in m-Commerce. The first half of my work is devoted to literature review. On the basis of studying literature, I described the basis theoretical knowledge in issues of buying behavior. The next step was the introduction of the term of m-Commerce. I also focused on current trends in this area and I predicted changes in the near future. On the basis of secondary data, I described the current state of m-Commerce and analyzed Czech and international surveys. The second half of my work is devoted to the research of buying behavior in m-Commerce. As a way to obtain primary data, I chose one of the quantitative methods of marketing research - a questionnaire survey.
Web optimization for mobile devices and analysis of it's effects

The thesis is about the phenomena and benefits of design and development for mobile devices. Theoretical part of the thesis is focused on describing the mobile market's and devices' specifics and their future development and reasoning their values. In-depth description of the methods and problems of mobile applications' design with focus on web applications is included as well as the overview of technologies for mobile web development. Capability comparison of these technologies with the possibilities of native applications are described too. The practical part of the thesis aims to verify these theories by applying them to a real project (news portal). After an implementation part the thesis provides an analysis of the benefits this implementation provided to the project. The main goals of this thesis are providing complex overview of the methods and technologies for mobile web development and the analysis, which verifies the benefits and outcomes of these theories in real practice. Results of this analysis are as well the main contribution of this theses as it provides valuable information about the benefits of described methods on real project which is used by many users. Other contribution is the part describing the implementation which unveils practical information and real problems of described theoretical methods on practical examples.
Framework jQuery for mobile platforms

This thesis aims to analyze the issue of deployment of the jQuery framework for mobile devices. The work deals with the research that university students use their cell phone to browse the website and whether these sites from the perspective of the user mobile device is sufficiently accessible and welcoming. Based on the results of the executed research, this work also focuses on the description of the implementation of web components that have an impact on the overall level of accessibility and user-friendly Web pages using jQuery Mobile framework.
Mobile Marketing in Czech Republic

Main topic of the Master's Thesis is mobile marketing in Czech Republic and the goal is to describe development of mobile devices, provided services and usage in marketing and marketing communication. Theoretical part is concerning development of the mobile devices and services where each topic is followed by a case study. Practical part contains quantitative and qualitative research. Quantitative on-line based research was conducted on sample of 100 deliberately chosen users. Main goal of this research was evaluation of average user experience with mobile marketing. Qualitative research was conducted by guided discussion with experts in the area of mobile marketing. Main goal of the research was assess actual scope of the use by marketers in context of the situation on the Czech market and discuss future development of this area.
Architecture of applications for mobile devices

This thesis discusses the architecture and the development of applications for mobile device, namely of applications in Java ME platform. The goal of this paper is to draw near the problematic of development for mobile device, analyse pros and cons of several solutions and design the architecture for a few type applications in chosen solution. The theoretical part of this thesis includes the introduction to the mobile development, discussion of benefits and drawbacks of development in Java ME in comparison with other possible solutions, description of main Java ME elements and choosing of type applications for practical part. In the hands-on part of this thesis are chosen the development tools and using previously described elements, the architectures for type applications are made. For each of type application is designed and developed real-life usable application.

Orpheus mobile robot is a teleoperated device primarily designed for remote exploration of hazardous places and rescue missions. The robot is able to operate both indoors and outdoors, is made to be durable and reliable. Orpheus robot contains multitude of sensors including cameras, 3D proximity scanners, thermometer, etc. The device is controlled trough advanced user interface using ARGOS software with joystick and head mounted displey with inertial head movement sensor.
Broadband Internet connection in the Czech Republic and in selected countries (EU and non EU)

The purpose of this work is to provide a view of the situation in high speed Internet connection in the Czech Republic in comparison with the situation in other countries. At the beginning we present connection possibilities and actual supply of these services in the Czech Republic. This is followed by a comparison of the Internet connection supply in the Czech Republic with available supplies in two other selected countries. One country is a member state of the European Union -- Austria, and the other country is a state located outside the EU -- Canada. This study does not only compare technological aspects, but takes into consideration the economic situation of individual countries as well. Comparative criteria are described in detail in the corresponding chapter. Finally, there is an evaluation of the results and a reflection on possible future developments.
Analysis of Advertising Campaign O2

In the first part of my master thesis I will describe theoretical fundamentals which are necessary for analyzing any market of telecommunication providers and their marketing campaigns. Practical part is divided into two parts. In the first one I will summarize information about all four Czech mobile telecommunication providers. The main topic of the second one is to characterize contemporary marketing communication of the O2 brand including an analysis of the particular O2 NEON campaign. I will also evaluate this campaign according to accessible information and add my personal suggestion.
