Tracker of Motorcycle Trips for iOS
Pinka, Martin ; Sochor, Jakub (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to create an innovative mobile application that can be used for tracking of motorcycle trips on iOS platform. The benefits include the improvement of automatic pause detection mechanism, which ignores movements that user do not want to include in the trip.Additionally, the application provides a way to organize records which helps user to find specific recorded trip.  This is solved by using tags that can be added to the records. The solution greatly improves the speed of finding specific routes if the user honestly fills information about trips. The implementation part of the thesis describes the drawing of a very long colored polyline on the map where colors represent speed of passing the places. As a result of all the effort there is an innovative, functional application that is ready for real usage.
Competition in Sports Betting
Potoček, Patrik ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This thesis describes design and implementation of mobile application for iOS, which allows its users to compete in sports betting. The uniqueness of this application rests in new point of view on sports betting where users compete with each other and do not have to face the risk of financial lost. The principle of this competition rest in creation of ticket which consists of individual bets on sports events and placing this ticket to game rooms for fee in form of virtual coins.
A Game for Apple TV
Kramár, Adam ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
This thesis consists of the design and implementation of the Apple TV game and a description of the technologies used. The game was programmed in Swift, executable on Apple TV with the tvOS operating system. The game is based on SpriteKit, which allows you to develop simple games for tvOS. The game is tested and fully functional on real devices. The advantages of the game are low hadrware requirements and a simple concept of the game.
Automated Plant Growing
Švancer, Jan ; Široký, Adam (referee) ; Musil, Martin (advisor)
This thesis combines two current trends - the Internet of Things and Urban Agriculture. It describes technologies for wireless sensors communication in smart homes and hardware for their implementation. Based on these technologies smart hardware for automatic plants growing is implemented and connected to cloud with remote access via iOS mobile application.
Mobile System for Text Recognition on iOS
Bobák, Petr ; Sochor, Jakub (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis describes a development of a modern client-server application for text recognition on iOS platform. The reader is acquainted with common principles of a client-server model, including its known architecture styles, and with a distribution of logical layers between both sides of the model. After that the thesis depicts current trends and examples of suitable technologies for creating an application programming interface of a web server. Possible ways of text recognition on the server side are discussed as well. In context of a client side, the thesis provides an insight into iOS platform and a few important concepts in iOS application development. Following implementation of the server side is stressed to be reusable as much as possible for different kinds of use cases. Last but not least, the thesis provides a simple iOS framework for a direct communication with the recognition server. Finally, an application for evaluation of food ingredients from a packaging material is implemented as an example of usage.
Concept for Real-World Person Avatar Usage in Virtual City
Müller, Frederik ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on creation of mobile and web application using geolocation and 3D graphics. Theory about application development, methods of testing and existing solutions are described in the beginning. Next, designed applications which correspond with user needs are introduced and algorithms on which applications run are also described. Finally, last part evaluate accomplished results and propose possible improvements.
Integrated Development Environemt for iOS applications written in Swift
Holka, Tomáš ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Oraný, Vladimír (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with integrated development environment called Xcode, which, together with the new Swift language, provides both beginner and experienced programmers with a powerful but also very useful tool for writing modern applications for Apple systems. The aim of this thesis is to characterize the Xcode development environment, to analyze the use of individual tools demonstrated on a simple application written in Swift language and to introduce the reader into programming for iOS with step-by-step instructions.
Advanced programming constructs and techniques in the Swift language
Čislinský, Jan ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Oraný, Vladimír (referee)
The thesis focuses on advanced programming constructs and techniques of the Swift programming language. At the beginning programming paradigms that are supported by the Swift design (object-oriented and functional) are introduced. Concepts of each paradigm are described and Swift is then evaluated by the level of support for these paradigms. Following programming constructs are described in-depth: working with variables, optional types, enumerated types, functions and closures. Creating of custom operators and subscripts. Operations with protocols, generic types and parallel program execution. Error handling with throwing functions. Detailed explanation of value types and their differences from reference type is given too. Thesis also explains nested types and all higher-order functions in Swift. At the end are described extensions; specifically extension of computed property, initialization function, function, subscript, nested type and protocol and generic types extensions. In the last section of the thesis these advanced programming techniques are described; function chaining and composition, structure saving, performance optimization of value types, reflection in the Swift programming language and how modules and namespaces work. At the end protocol-oriented programming is introduced.
Development of Mobile Application for iOS Platform
Andrýsek, Ondřej ; Štepník, Štefan (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis is based on design and development of native application for platfrom iOS. Application is developed in XCode a wrote in programming language Swift. Then the application is distributed in App Store.
Hudební vizualizér pro virtuální realitu
SIMOTA, Matěj
Thesis "Music visualiser for virtual reality" deals with theoretical basis of developing mobile app and the actual development. The theoretical basis describes the definition and interpretation technology for virtual reality. Further discussion of software and hardware used to implement the application. Also examining the principles of sound signal and music visualization and then designing the app. The practical part describes how to create 3D environment and how to transfer it into the environment SceneKit framework. Consequently, the principles of which were used for programming the response of the 3D scene to playing music via head movement of the user, testing and optimization.
