is thesis on subject "Surface integrity after waterjet cutting process" describes problem of the progressive advanced technology, unconventional hydroabrasive jet cutting, examines the integrity of the surface after cutting AWJ and discusses selected factors on the outcome of the cutting process. Also, there are mentioned accompany effects of cutting process and the various applications of AWJ. A special attention is devoted to the surface integrity evaluation in terms of its quality. Next was attention to factors entering into the process of division and affecting the surface topography.
Surface finishing using unconventional methods.
Popelář, Petr ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The summary of selected technologies and methods of conventional and unconventional ways of machining that are used for finishing the surface of engineering components. Summarizes the basic principles, a description of machines, tools, working conditions, the resulting values of surface texture and precision, which can be achieved by these methods. Usage in practice, evaluation and comparison according to criteria by Ra and IT.
Special surface finish architectural concrete
Gajdoš, Jan ; Ťažký, Tomáš (referee) ; Hela, Rudolf (advisor)
The aim of this work is to describe modern methods of finishing concrete with architectural division of the surfaces created in fresh and hardened state. In this work describes the various influences and their effects on the resulting surface such as concrete composition, method of storage or production and compaction of concrete. In the practical part of the thesis focuses on the technology of graphic concrete and its application to vertical monolithic wall.
Types of riding hall surfaces
Na základě výsledků dotazníkového šetření byly zpracovány informace o každém z jednotlivých povrchů jízdáren a přehled o kvalitě a oblíbenosti jednotlivých povrchů v oblasti Jihočeského kraje.
RESPONSE OF SURFACE MORPHOLOGY IN COBALT-FULLERENE MIXTURE FILMS UPON VARIATION OF THE METAL CONTENT
Lavrentiev, Vasyl ; Lavrentieva, Inna ; Vacík, Jiří
The morphology and roughness of the films show great change around some critical composition x(c) of the mixture film (x(c) approximate to 3). The films with lower Co content (x < 3) is rather smooth and the roughness is rather low. However, if x >= 3, the roughness of the CoxC60 films dramatically increases and sharp protrusions appear on the surface that reflects an important phase transformation in the film structure. The obtained AFM results define the concentration interval of the Co solubility in solid C-60 (x < 3), which was found to be narrower than that evaluated from spectroscopic experiments (see the text). This interval suggests a formation of the Co1C60 and Co2C60 fullerides in the CoxC60 mixtures where the Co atoms occupy the tetrahedral holes in the fullerene lattice. The dramatic change of the surface morphology at x >= 3 reflects the pronounced Co clustering which likely occurs due to numerical filling the octahedral pores. Formation of the protrusions on the surface of the supersaturated CoxC60 mixture films (x > 3) is a consequence of the compressive stress arising in the film due to the Co clustering.
Semiautomatic Surface Reflectance Measurement for Monitoring of Material Weathering
Kocour, Vladimír ; Valach, Jaroslav
We present a device for measurement of surface reflectance in dependence on incidence angle and reflectance angle. This measurement enables us to quantitatively determine how much the surface is glossy or matt. The device is programmable, which enables us to choose non-equidistant steps of angles, and study special situations more in detail. It can be used for monitoring of material weathering or other types of degradation as weathering usually causes that the surface becomes more matt.
Determination of Optical Properties of Surfaces for Use in Cultural Heritage Protection
Kocour, Vladimír ; Bryscejn, Jan ; Vrba, David ; Valach, Jaroslav
In this paper we would like to present a simple method of surface reflectance measurement, then to discuss relation between reflectance and surface appearance and what it indicates in the context of shape reconstruction and surface protection.
