Application of KDD on the data of plastic surgery clients

The main objective of my thesis is to analyze data about clients of plastic and aesthetic surgery with methods and tools of the Knowledge Discovery in Databases and to find as many useful knowledge as possible from the data's owner view (the knowledge consists of verbal rules expressing relationships between two entities). Found knowledge will be presented in SEWEBAR system. Elaboration of my work is in accordance with CRISP-DM methodology that is used for the Knowledge Discovery in Databases. Analytical questions will be solved by LISp-Miner software that uses analytical procedure 4ft-Miner of the GUHA method. Found relationships will be presented in SEWEBAR system and some interesting relationships will be presented in this work. The main purpose of the thesis is to find useful knowledge of plastic and aesthetic surgery branch from both business and medical view. From medical point of view the work finds knowledge about medical and psychological status of clients. From business point of view the work finds knowledge for management. The thesis is structured to correspond with CRISP-DM methodology where every phase of methodology has one chapter. There is result of every phase described in every chapter together with the description of my work on phase.

The basis for processing the information obtained from local budgetary organizations and the Association of Municipalities Sedlčany interviews focused on the municipalities that cooperate with this organization. The thesis aims to examine the opportunities for Web 2.0 trends in the knowledge management of an enterprise. Its main focus is the Enterprise 2.0 systems. The goal is to show the potential Enterprise 2.0 systems have to offer to an enterprise, how it can contribute to an effective knowledge management and how an enterprise can thus increase its efficiency. The thesis also covers the Enterprise 2.0 implementation process emphasizing the importance of its incorporation into a wider framework of corporate culture. The practical part suggests a knowledge management solution for one of the leading language schools in Prague, Czech Republic, aiming to share knowledge among its teachers.

The main goal of my thesis is to suggest a methodology for a knowledge management implementation and to implement this methodology in a chosen organization. The last part of my thesis deals with the critical aspects of the knowledge management implementation and possible solutions. Organizations, which haven't started with knowledge management implementation yet, are in a disadvantage compare to the organizations which have already implemented knowledge management into their processes. The importance of a human capital is still growing and the organizations need to know how to work with knowledge of their employees effectively.
CRM Software-as-a-Service in Czech Republic

Customer relationship management includes all the sophisticated methodologies. It is a comprehensive way to manage the relationships which company has with its customers. There is a fierce competiton between companies, small businesses have to compete on equal terms with large organizations. This situation leads to discussion about customer oriented approach and diligence to prevent the loss of customer portfolio. Increase in the knowledge of customers is a key point of success. Information technology boosts customer relationship management. Companies face expensiveness of technologies and they try to find cheaper and more reachable solution. To find and evaluate criteria of success of CRM Software-as-a-Service in Czech Republic is the objective of my thesis. The goal is to define a method on how to find aspects of success, to research and to evaluate the results. Thesis contains insight into levels of CRM, summary of criteria of CRM choice, description of SaaS technology, research, results and final conclusion.
