Women artists in Bohemia in the nineteenth century

The thesis consists of three chapters, which aim to describe and summarize the pivotal themes, important for the history of female art in Bohemia, i. e. questions of their origin, art education, placement and reception of their art in the temporary criticism. The first chapter inquires into forms of the artistic education according to the kinds of the social origin of the women. Separately it describes the issues of education for professional women artists and women of noble birth. A special attention is paid to the theme of an organized training in visual arts, which was provided by private arts schools at first. An important position among them had the school of drawing for ladies, founded by the painter Amalia Manes in 1853. The essay suggests some circumstances realting to this private school. In the 1860's the art education went through a considerable progress, when a new forms of art teaching were created, based mostly on arts and crafts aims. Considering the fact they arouse about twenty years before establishment the Arts and crafts school in Prague, where they on a relative high level. Oriental dance in the context of women's health

The thesis deals with the influence of Oriental dancing on woman´s health. The theoretical part focuses on the history of belly dancing - when and for what reason it actually came into being, as well as the disapproving if not downright scandalized perception of the society belly dancing has had to overcome in the last two hundred years and the role it can play in the life of every women today. The thesis also concentrates on the specific features of belly dancing and differences from other physical activities including all its health effects.The practical part includes an analysis and assessment of a questionnaire survey conducted with 82 dancing respondents of all age groups in randomly chosen belly dancing studios. The aim of the thesis was to ascertain the influence belly dancing has on all spheres of woman´s health. The research answered questions of how it influenced the life of the dancers, where they can see the positives and what the negatives are. The respondents agreed that belly dancing positively influences not only physical health but also psychological and spiritual. Oriental dancing substantionallyenriched their everyday life.

Adult education in scout movements

This Bachelor's Thesis deals with the questions of adult education in Jumlk - Association of Scouts and Guides - CZ in connection with state regularizations. Apart from the analysis of Czech regularizations, it also mentions the European situation. In the Czech Republic, there is not one law treating the area of non-governmental youth organizations but only partial obligations. Non-governmental organizations can accredit their courses if they observe the state requirements and so does Junak. Europe insists on the quality of non-formal education with which assuring is concerned the project of the organization Youth Forum Jeunesse. Junak - Association of Scouts and Guides - CZ has its own multistep educational system for its adult members. Each qualification corresponds to the function executed by volunteers. The concept of competences is gradually gaining ground. It tries to lay down all knowledge, skills and positions needed for successful exercising of each function. Besides, Junak is obliged to tackle all problems and questions arising around its courses and qualifications. Junak also holds a number of non-qualifYing courses of bigger or smaller extent.

Postavení žen v muslimské společnosti je v současné době velmi diskutovanou otázkou. V souvislosti s událostmi na Blízkém východě, a nejen tam, se stále více otevírá a přetřásá při nejrůznějších příležitostech. Běžnému příslušníku euroamerické kultury je problém vcelku jasný - muslimské ženy jsou utiskované, šikanované a ponižované. Stává se dokonce, že pozice žen v muslimských společnostech slouží jako prostředek k odsouzení islámu jako takového. Má práce by v žádném případě neměla mít sociologický charakter, není mou ambicí islám a postoj muslimů k ženám soudit, k tomu mi chybí vzdělání, zkušenosti i osobní znalost prostředí. Na prvopočátku mého bádání stála otázka: Může existovat literární autobiografie v kultuře, která zapovídá člověku zobrazovat, mluvit o sobě a používat 1. osobu singuláru? A v případě, že ano, pak tedy za jakých podmínek? Po přečtení několika knih se můj obzor částečně rozšířil a poznatky nabyté z této četby mě vedly k rozhodnutí omezit své zkoumání pouze na ženskou část literární tvorby Maghrebu. Maghrebská literatura psaná ženami je ve srovnání s evropskou produkcí velmi mladá, datuje se teprve od konce 40. let 20. století. S tím je spojen fakt, že je také velmi málo zpracovaná. The self-portrait in the Czech baroque painting

The se1f-portrait in painting is similar to an autobiography in literature. It is an unique testimony of painter' s life and art, of his desires, fears and whishes. It contains its own typical attributes: brusches, a palette, an easel with a canvas and specific studio clothes as well, which point to the painter's profession. Usually the sitter is in the contact with the viewer with the help of his eyes' sight. The deve10pment of the self-portraiture started in the Renaissance period, when the artist se1f-consciousness of his talent and uniqueness of his art spread. Painters started to offend against giuld rules which tied them. An important break into the obsolete system was the attempt to establish an Academy in Prague in 1709. The main authors ofthe project were the painter Michael Václav Halbax, the sculptor František Preiss and the architect František Maxmilián Kaňka. But their progressive idea broke down in the end. The barock self-portraits in the Czech painting were influenced by the previous period - the era of the emperor Rudolf II. and his great painters for example: Bartholomeus Spranger and Hans von Aachen. Thesis is focused on art in public areas and tries to show how it is changed by the art, what are its functions and how are the interpretational roles of the viewer changed in comparison to the perception of art in a gallery. Theoretical part of the work is based on the concepts of R. Sennett and K. Lynch. Second part of the work is based on the case study which is focused on a analysis of a large-area paintings of Pasta Oner, which are painted on walls in public space. Part of the analysis are also dominant parts of his work, although accent is also made on the interaction of work of art with space in which it is placed. Self-stylization in the Work of Ludvík Vaculík

Cílem této práce je interpretovat způsoby autostylizace v díle Ludvíka Vaculíka. Teoretická část se zabývá problémem: 1. stylizace a autostylizace, způsobu transformace životního materiálu v umělecké dílo; 2. autora, autorského subjektu a budování sebemýtu; 3. autenticity v literatuře a možnosti autenticity v deníkové literatuře. Na základě Vaculíkova literárního, ne publicistického, díla jsem se pokusila odhalit princip jeho autostylizace. Charakterizovala jsem postavu "Vaculíka" - autorského subjektu, postavy, která tematicky odkazuje k samotnému autorovi, jako jedinou postavu, kterou Ludvík Vaculík vystavěl pomocí svého díla, a tak i vystavěl svůj obraz (mýtus) v očích čtenáře. Snažila jsem se postihnout základní postoje a role, které jsou pro postavu "Vaculíka" typické. Tyto postoje a role se v různých obměnách vyskytují v celém jeho díle, a proto lze dobře zkoumat jejich shody, vývoj, změny i rozdíly. Mezi typické postoje jsem zařadila individualismus, subjektivismus, upřímnost, k typickým rolím patří kritik, moralista, pozorovatel, partner, milenec, manžel. Support for women after parental leave on the labour market in EU and ČR

Diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi, které mají ženy při slaďování rodiného a profesního života. Zaměřuje se na podporu žen po rodičovské dovolené na trhu práce. Jde o státní podporu v oblasti pracovněprávních vztahů, zajišťování služby péče o děti a finanční podporu pro rodiče malých dětí, dále pak podporu ze strany zaměstnavatelů v podobě umožnění práce na alternativní pracovní úvazky. A zmiňuje také roli neziskových organizací poskytujících vzdělávací programy pro ženy. Srovnává fungování této podpory v České republice a v ostatních členských státech Evropské unie. Součástí práce je i vyhodnocení dotazníkového šetření, které ukazuje postoj českých rodičů k této problematice.

První kapitoly práce (teoretické) vysvětlují pojmy jako sportovní marketing, event marketing a partnerství ve sportu. Dále analyzují postoj lidí ke sportu a jejich životní styl. Diplomová práce samotná následně hodnotí dosavadní marketingové počínání společnosti Prague International Marathon, spol. s r.o. (PIM) a veškerou marketingovou orientaci zaměřenou na zákazníky ? běžce, diváky a partnery. Poukazuje, jaké nástroje společnost používá směrem k široké veřejnosti na území hlavního města, na celém území České republiky a za hranicemi státu. Dále charakterizuje komunikaci se stávajícími partnery, co jim partnerství s PIM přináší a jaké jsou jeho výhody, popř. úskalí, jaké jsou přednosti, popř. nedostatky v oblasti této komunikace. V neposlední řadě zkoumá kompletní povědomí o sportovních a kulturních akcích společnosti PIM a efektivnost použitých komunikačních nástrojů v porovnání s mediální odezvou na akce organizované PIM. Závěrem jsou uvedena marketingová doporučení diplomantky.

Reflection of the Moscow Trials in the Czechoslovak Press

This bachelor thesis inquires into the reflection of the Moscow Trials in the second half of the 1930's in the Czechoslovak press. It charts the political spectrum in light of the most significant political streams in Czechoslovakia in the second half of the 1930's. Beside the qualitative analysis is lesser used quantitative analysis, which reflects the interests of the Czechoslovak press in the Moscow Trials. The thesis insists on the representative choice of partail press that time. The objective of the work is to bring the sum of stances to the Moscow Trials on the pages of Czechoslovak press. The main questions are: how the Trials were preceived, what was criticised, how The Sovie Union and Stalin were preceived against a background of the Trials, which antagonisms were during the Trials in the Czechoslovak society, how the editor's offices stances were changed during the Trials and the most significant interest of the thesis are diferent stances in the Czechoslovak society and political streams.
