Board Game User Interface with a Camera
Dále aplikace analyzuje stav hry a rozhodne o svém následujícím tahu.
Artificial Intelligence
Ragas, Luděk ; Žouželková Bartošová, Marie (referee) ; Sedláček, Pavel (advisor)
Cílem této bakalářské práce je poskytnout náhled do rozsáhlého oboru umělé inteligence. Téze nejprve poskytuje definici umělé inteligence a krátký přehled její historie. Poté práce stručně popisuje technologie umělé inteligence, jako jsou neuronové sítě, expertní systémy a genetické algoritmy. Na závěr téze popisuje vliv umělé inteligence na společnost a její pozici v ní.
Reinforcing UX Principles in Existing User Interfaces
Pilát, Peter ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis explains meaning of user experience, its main aspects, selected methodology, its integration into agile development process and what UX maturity level can be represented in real company. It also deals with analysis of selected existing user interfaces used for network print management and its end users. Prototyping and user testing methods are iteratively applied to these user interfaces. Evaluation of these methods concludes the thesis with a recommendation what UX processes should be integrated for future development of user interfaces in Y Soft.
Differences between user interface design tools
Jäger, Marcel ; Šedivá, Zuzana (advisor) ; Kupec, Michael (referee)
This thesis describes the difference between graphic editors, which are used by designers while creating design of user interfaces. In first part of this thesis are defined principles of good user interface design, which should designer follow. In next part are described differences between vector and bitmap images. In practical part are compared functions of four graphic editors. In conclusion is created table summary of these functions.
User interface of mobile application
Novák, Jakub Štěpán ; Šimek, Pavel (advisor) ; Stočes, Michal (referee)
Bachelor thesis is focused on issues regarding to mobile devices, specifically user interfaces of mobile devices. These devices are spread in such measure, that most people are using these devices to accomplish task from everyday life. Ease of use and overall experience depends strictly on user interface. Goal of theoretical part is to study universal conventions and methods used to create intuitive and good looking user experience, with focus on individual platform and use case. It also breaks down psychical side of development, which is hidden behind user interface. That means how the user think and behave within your application. In practical part, the theoretical knowledge is applied to real live scenarios and models. It contains analysis and real life problem solving, that are regarded to user interfaces and are specific for mobile platform. The result is clear and useful overview, that sums up how to effectively create quality and nice looking interfaces that are not just a pleasure to use, but also manage to deliver esthetical side, which results in fact, how likely the user will return to the applications.
Measurement and Monitoring of Non-Electrical Quantities Using Bluetooth Low Energy
Prítel, Peter ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this report is Bluetooth Low Energy and communication with sensors of non- electrical quantities . The first part describes general overview of Bluetooth technology . In the implementation part, development of application based on Cordova framework is described . The application demonstrates communication with sensors using Bluetooth Low Energy .
Game Interface with Data Projector and Leap Motion
Kendra, Matej ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Najman, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis describes various game interfaces for human and gradually there are shown more modern and common available interfaces. Work closely describes how you can play games on a regular projector and sensors for gestures detection - Kinect and Leap Motion. This work focus on evaluation of aspects of table-game design with these components and also on display view calibration between projector and Leap Motion. Part of the project is devoted to describing the board game Catan, of which rules are taken to write down specification and options of player. According to this knowledge is then described the design of the play-set and the design of several interfaces of the game. Implementation is briefly described and final chapters covers forms of the testing methods of interfaces and testing evaluation from user perspective.
Reversi
Labaj, Tomáš ; Jurka, Pavel (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis present the problematic of an Artificial Intelligence and its usage for the board game Reversi is described. The best solution for this type of application is "minimax" method. To avoid redundant seeking through status field it is better to use some kind of limitations, e. c. Alpha-Beta method. Both methods are also described in this thesis. Second part is focused on self- learning computer algorithms (the ways how computer can improve his turn after unsuccessful one).
Solving Problems with Uncertainty
Hrdý, Libor ; Martinek, David (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
In this thesis is described implementation of the logical deskgame Backgammon, which is a game for two players, whereas one is substituted by computer. This thesis is focused on the problems of the programming the graphical user interface with help of toolkit WxWidgets and also the implemetnation of the game core (game controls and AI of the computer) by using ExpectMiniMax algorithm, that is used for the implementation of the games with the strong influence of random, games where random plays a big role, in this particular case throwing the cube.
Artificial Intelligence for Game Playing
Neřád, Václav ; Kouřil, Jan (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis analyzes artificial intelligence and method, which are used in artificial intelligence for problem solving and game playing especially. Chosen methods are used for bot implementation in game Ants in contest AI challenge.
