Transfer and Backup of Text Messages (SMS)
Černý, František ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Kolář, Dušan (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis are two cooperating applications to backup, restore and to view SMS messages. The first of the implemented applications, designed for the Android operating system can backup and restore SMS messages using XML file. The application also enables synchronization of the imported file with existing short text messages. The second application is used as an extension for Thunderbird email client. This extension lets you view imported text messages, synchronize your saved short text messages with contacts in SMS threads, search in saved file and synchronize existing SMS information with newly imported file. The extension also allows exporting a file with SMS messages and uses this exported file in application for Android operating system.
Notification Filter for Android
Vlkovič, Vladimír ; Zachariáš, Michal (referee) ; Szentandrási, István (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to develop an application which can block incoming calls, text messages and notifications on Android based mobile devices. The thesis contains a description of common theory, three designs of user interface from which two of them were implemented as applications. These two applications use different approaches to the filtering. The first uses the black list approach, the other the white list approach. The applications were successfully tested by twenty users. The average score in the questionaires was six out of seven which is considered a great success.
NEW CHANNEL CODING METHODS FOR SATELLITE COMMUNICATION
Rumánek, Jaroslav ; Levický, Dušan (referee) ; Žalud, Václav (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This dissertation thesis deals with new progressive channel coding methods for data transmission using satellite transponder. The design of the system for SMS transmission, in which novel turbo coding methods are applied, is discussed too. An achievement of the lowest output power and the smallest user aperture is the principal aim of the new method applications. Design of system that would be able to the error free SMS transmission by very low signal to noise ratio is analyzed in this dissertation thesis. The work is focused on energy budget, modification and implementation of new turbo code types and using unique properties, development of new bit error rate estimation methods and methods for determination of final SMS form. The main contribution is the new type of turbo code development that have optimal properties for this usage, development of new bit error rate estimation method and development of method that is able to determine final form of SMS on the basis SMS frame structure and turbo decoding theory when the bit error rate is not zero.
The use of information technology to support safety management in aviation
Poloch, Gabriel ; Koštial, Rostislav (referee) ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (advisor)
The purpose of the Thesis is to acquaint reader with Safety management system in the aviation. In the beggining Thesis describes the begining of safety management, why was the system created and how it developed in the past. The main part of the Thesis is focused on identification of software tools for easier implementation of Safety management system in the training organizations. Another part of the Thesis is focused on aplication of selected software tools on small training organization (ATO) with complex disposition.
Effect of the prepared ICAO Annex 19 on Air Operators in the Czech Republic
Mokoš, Marian ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (referee) ; Chlebek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis analyzes the issue of safety in civil aviation, focusing primarily on its management. In the work is discussed and solved recently prepared document Annex 19 and its Czech version L19. The new document is evaluated in terms of the impact on existing regulations, too. The thesis explores the impact of that the preparing document to interested organizations and proposes possible procedure in its implementation.
Design of measurement robotized workcell
Tvardek, Michal ; Sláma, Josef (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This master's thesis focuses on the use of the Renishaw's Equator gauging system in cooperation with the industrial robot. The target is to design the robotized workcell which contains these two products. Robot acts as a manipulator for inserting and sorting out the workpieces into the "good" and "bad" pallets according to measured results from the Equator. Equator uses a parallel kinematics and probing system which is normally used on coordinate measuring machines. Therefore there is the introduction to the parallel and serial kinematic structures, to the problems of the coordinate measuring machines in the first part of this thesis. It was made a separation of the probing systems into a few basic categories, description of the typical representatives of these categories and of the other important accessories of the coordinate measuring machines, too. The second part of the thesis contains a description of the Equator gauging system, the industrial robot which I used and their accessories. In this part is mentioned a few examples of measurement automation in industry practice, too. The third part devotes to the design of the robotized workcell and contains all the important requirements for the realization.
Low Energy GSM/GPRS Module for Sensoric Applications
Pál, Tamás ; Mráz, Ľubomír (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
This project deals with the problematics of self-powered universal GSM/GPRS module which is used for sensorical applications. The first part analyzes features of mobile networks and applying energy from the environment. The second section expalins the various parts and characteristic of their associated components together with some fundamental functions of the technology for possible realization of sensoric module. The third part describes plan for system realisation and fourth parth illustrates achiaved results.
Multiplatform gateway for voice communication in real-time
Starzyczny, Radek ; Krkoš, Radko (referee) ; Novotný, Bohumil (advisor)
This master's thesis is focused on VoIP communications. It describes deploy of the operating system OpenWRT, analog interface of router Gigaset SX762 and GSM gateway for receiving or place calls. The paper describes the protocols involved in the communication and basic configuration elements. Deploying IP telephony enables to reduce the cost of operation and provides a number of additional functions.
Automatic detector of vehicle road accicents
Žurek, Jan ; Morský, Ondřej (referee) ; Dostál, Otto (advisor)
This master‘s thesis treat of car safety. It includes an introduction into already existing active and passive safety systems and briefly describes their basic principles. It also includes a description of basic principles of car electronic systems. It will acquaint us also with elementary calculations in the area of car crashing into a solid obstacle. On base of this information was developed and consequently realized development module of an automatic car accident alarm that transfers information using SMS messages to a cell phone. The message contains date, time and GPS coordinates of the accident and acceleration sensor readings in three axes.
Position navigation system with GSM interface
Pristach, Marián ; Khatib, Nabhan (referee) ; Kadlec, Jaroslav (advisor)
The objective of the diploma thesis is to design a device for positioning of mobile devices using GPS satellites. When coordinates are acquired they can be sent via the GSM network to a user's cell phone or to an SQL server. A web interface has been designed to access the stored data and to show the current device position and the history. This position datalogging system can be used for monitoring vehicles as well as a security system for cars.
