Chapter number two is called Special education and it defines the subject of special education itself, it's purpose and inner structure. Third chapter focuses on social services. It brings up it's definition and types and forms of social services. It also contains the examples of the institutions which fall into this category and it's providers. Chapter number four, which happens to be the last one in the theoretical part of the thesis, covers the role and purpose of graduates of the special education - tutorship studies. It brings up the definition of a social worker, necessary prerequisites as well as beneficial personality traits and feautures. In a subchapter of chapter four is a short description of a pedagogue tutor. Definition who he actually is, who are proper candidates for this position, what are desired personality traits we look for in tutors and the actual content and purpose of their work in institutions providing social services. The end of chapter four is dedicated to a position of a social worker. His activities, the position and definition of a personal assistant and again personality traits needed for a successful career in this field. The objective of the practical part of the thesis is to describe working of Special education - tutorship studies graduates in practice. Particularly their experiences "from the field", how do they evaluate the level of skill of fresh graduates during their first encounters with the reality, how satisfied are they with their choice of a career so far and what was their motivation to pursue such career. Practical part of the thesis includes qualitative research. To meet the above objectives, data collection technique had been chosen using a structured interview with the respondents, who were graduates of Special education tutorship studies. You can tell by the results of this thesis that graduates in the field of social services apply mostly to lower positions as a social service workers, even though they are qualified to perform as a social workers. The age of clients with whom the respondents work ranges from childhood to senior. The motivation that led those questioned respondents to the decision to choose the area of social services varies. Some reported that they were influenced by the actual practical experience during their studies at the university, when both the work itself and their enthusiasm for the target group played role. Others expressed they had previous experience working with people with disabilities or they just wanted to acquire new experiences. Also, involvement of a family member and their previous education was a motivation. Job satisfaction is evident from observed data, and it also contributes to work done accurately and responsibly. Personal benefits for the respondents according to findings are usually their usefulness at work, new experiences they are getting and last but not least advances of their clients. As the biggest advantage the respondents usually mention variability of their work, target group and the clients in itself and the fact, that their work is highly satisfying and they basically work in a very pleasant team of individuals. On the other hand, not exactly satisfying financial reward and challenging working hours are mentioned as disadvantages. Special education - tutorship studies - the branch they've studied, is by the majority of respondents considered to be beneficial for them and they especially highlight practical impact of practice they completed during their studies and which included visits to various relevant institutions.
Kindergarten teacher ´s opinions to integration of disabled children to classes of common type based on their experiences
BENEŠOVÁ, Jana
The bachelor thesis focuses on opinions of preschool teachers concerning inclusion of disabled children in ordinary classes, based on their experience. It also examines if the teachers are ready for the inclusion and if their decision on inclusion depends on type of the specific child's disability. The main objective of the bachelor thesis is to find out whether teachers who already got acquainted with inclusion of disabled children in ordinary classes have different opinions of this topic than teachers who have not learnt experience in this field yet. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis explains the term of inclusion, describes preparation of individual education programs and classifies individual disciplines of special pedagogy. In the practical part, the research combines the qualitative method of interviews with the quantitative method of surveys. The qualitative method was applied during the pre-research phase. The replies of interviewees became a basis for preparation of the quantitative method material, a questionnaire submitted to 105 respondents.
Motivational factors in the selection of study fields of Special Pedagogy and Rehabilitation and Psychosocial Care for Handicapped Children, Adults and Seniors
MEDOVÁ, Šárka
This Bachelor´s thesis deals with the motivational factors when selecting fields of study in Special Education and Psychosocial Rehabilitation Care for children, adults and seniors. The concept of motivation is not important only in the professional life of a person. Motivation is the motive which leads towards one´s set objective. The choice of a branch of study depends on many factors that can influence it. Continue studying can be a family tradition, or it is only seen from the economical point of view, with an idea of a better economic security. Some people see selecting their field of study as a way of self-realization. The aim of this thesis is to determine the most important motives that influence students of Special Education and Psychosocial Rehabilitation Care for children, adults and seniors at Faculty of Health and Social Studies in České Budějovice when selecting their field of study. The secondary aim of the thesis is to determine a level of satisfaction of examined fields of study and professional training. Quantitative research methods, in this case questionnaires, were used during the research. The questionnaires were anonymous and each included 18 questions that were mostly closed or semi-closed questions. From the 7thApril to the 10th April 2014, the questionnaires were distributed to full-time students studying Bachelor´s programs of examined fields. The total number of respondents was 120, 115 of them answered. The majority of respondents were women. According to the research, the students studying Special Education and Psychosocial Rehabilitation Care for children, adults and seniors studied mostly at secondary vocational schools specialized in health care. Other secondary schools were secondary vocational schools specialized in pedagogy, chosen by the students studying Special Education, and secondary grammar schools chosen by the students studying Psychosocial Rehabilitation Care. The most respondents studying Special Education have chosen this field in order to continue in the same field they studied at secondary school. This may lead to satisfaction that they have made a good decision when selecting a secondary school and reinforce their idea of future profession. We can notice a similar development for the field of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Care. However, in this case, there is a high number of students who studied secondary grammar schools, which might be caused by searching the right specialization or by influencing their choice. The most common answer to the question about motivation was that anybody from the family was not a role model. This is related to another examined fact: in most cases, the choice of the field of study has not been influenced by anybody else, the choice has been made by respondents themselves. That is why they have chosen a school where they can use their interests and where they can study what they enjoy. A high number of respondents were also influenced by their after-school activities. Just a minimal percentage of respondents have chosen their field of study form their negative experience. Almost a half of the respondents have experience with a handicapped person from their family or surroundings. The majority of the respondents, studying the examined fields of study, is satisfied with the curriculum, only a small part of them is not satisfied or sure with the field of study. The respondents studying Special Education feel they deepen their interest in the field of study thanks to the professional training they practise; to a lesser extent so do the respondents studying Psychosocial Rehabilitation Care. The respondents from both fields of study agree that their field of study make them surer about their ideas of future professions.

Zootherapy for Pupils with Special Education Needs in District Tábor
KRATOCHVÍLOVÁ HAVLOVÁ, Jitka
Zootherapy, as a relatively new method, is categorized within a comprehensive rehabilitation and in special schools. Here is used not only as suitable relaxation and diversification of lessons, but also in targeted work with children ? development of physical, mental, emotional and social skills. The animal is not the only mediator, but a welcome friend, to which many children with disabilities have closer relationship than to other people. Dogs are loyal friends, without any conditions, they are willing to snuggle and play, offering a plentiful amount of initiative, the child is not bored with them and he /she learns new skills naturally. Horse riding gives to children a sense of uniqueness, joy, freedom, it increases their self-image and it develops child´s motor activity. And even small animals (hamsters, quinea pigs, turtles, budgies etc.) are able to awaken happiness, interest and through love to an animal it is only a step to love other people.
Upbringing and education of children with cephalonia
GAJDOŠOVÁ, Adéla
Upbringing and education children with cephalonia The children with cephalonia develop slowly but they are very sensitive and perceptive. Their upbringing and education is very discussed problem at present. Every men is an unique personality and every men is entitled to the full-value life with the education and the love and it applies also to people with cephalonia. The main subject of the diploma thesis was to describe the general information about the cephalonia (aetiology, classification, possibilities of education of people with cephalonia). The practical part of the diploma thesis has two goals. The first goal was to find out and describe the situation of skilled employees in the educational institutions for children with cephalonia. The second goal was to find out and describe the level of the special pedagogic care of children with cephalonia (especially using of alternative therapies). Both of goals were achieved. The diploma thesis verified two existing hypothesis together. The basic technique of data collection was the questionnaire for teacher in the educational institutions for children with cephalonia in the Zlín region. The secondary analysis of the methodical materials and the educational programmes in the special schools in Zlín region was the next used method. The hypothesis no.1 (There is lack of skilled employees in the educational institutions for children with cephalonia) was overcame. The most of interviewed special pedagogues had requisite qualification according to law and the others studied for this qualification by their employment. The hypothesis no.2 (The alternative therapies are not using enough in the educational institutions for children with cephalonia) was confirmed. According to the secondary analysis of the methodical materials the particulars of the alternative therapies are using because these particulars of therapies are parts of the curriculum for children with special needs. But the research results that quarter of informants don{\crq}t use the alternative therapies and they don{\crq}t have the appropriate qualification for it. The results of this diploma thesis could have been using as an information brochure for parents and teachers of children with cephalonia.
The attitude and the role of siblings of children with strong mental handicaps in a family
HAZUKOVÁ, Michaela
In the theoretical part I devote to the problems of a health handicap and its division. Further I describe a model of the psychic crisis of parents evoked by the recognition that their child has the handicap. There are outlined specifics of the family that is taking care of the hard handicapped child targeted to the parent of the disabled child and especially to his healthy sibling. An aim of the experimental part is: 1st - to discover how healthy children spend their leisure time with their hard handicapped siblings, 2nd - to find out which requirements from the neighbourhood are laid on the sibling of the handicapped child. For a realization of the experimental part of the work I chose a qualitative type of the research, a questioning method, an interview technique. The research took place in a private milieu of the handicapped children´s siblings without a presence of another person in the period from May to July 2009. Respondents I chose from my own sources thanks to my voluntary activities in ARPIDA Centre. I addressed in total 10 healthy siblings, 7 of them were willing to take part in the research in the end. The experimental set No.1 was made up of healthy siblings at the age from 13 to 21 years. The set No. 2 was made up by three siblings with a hard health handicap being with the persons from the Set No. 1 in the sibling relationship. All the respondents live in České Budějovice or its surroundings. Results of this experiment showed the fact that healthy siblings dedicate their leisure time to their siblings with a handicap mainly in activities they can do together. They are as follows: watching TV, playing games, looking at sports matches, helping to cope with acts etc. Above all the respondents classified their shared time as family rituals: dining, afternoon siestas, feasts, celebrations and visits. All the respondents stated that they feel a greater pressure from their neighbourhood on themselves and each of them bears with the situation in another way. The above mentioned bachelor work can be used in institutions working with families, i.e. Pedagogic psychological counselling services and Special pedagogical centres. This work can also be a contribution for the families of children with the health handicap themselves.
