The work shows the possibilities of creating landscapes suitable for recreation and hippotherapy, while preserving the values of landscape in the area of Těmice. It is trying to show how to make the design of the chosen estate gently to the environment. It deals with a water problems, such as meliorations that were made at the end of the last century and the loss of permanent grasslands.

Landscape Management of River Basin Skalice

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze and evaluate the state of the landscape in the model part of the Skalice river basin and to determine the possible negative effects of intensive agriculture on the selected village of Smetana Lhota. Inappropriate melioration and high losses soil and nutrients from the fields were found in the model area. The research, which took place in the village of Smetanova Lhota, confirmed that intensive agriculture actually affects the inhabitants of the village. The findings are used to recommend how to approach to the revitalization of the landscape in the model territory based on the Complex landscaping. Approaches to revitalization the landscape can be used in similar forms on whole basin of the Skalice river. The landscape revitalization should reduce the eutrophication of the Orlík dam and restore its original character.

The Development of the Water Management in Bohemia between 1870 and 1928

The intention of this work is to construct and present general ambit of running of water management and water management policy between years 1870-1928, specifically in the Czech territory (Czech country). By researching this problem I am going to present the field of Water Management at that time like a new, progressive and ground-breaking aspect of agricultural policy of Austria-Hungary and its countries, which was understood as a tool for modernization with far-reaching effect on agricultural policy. This approach also started the new era of agricultural use of water. In the second part of this work I want to present on the example of Rakovník stream the development of using the water in the water management, which preceded 1870 and on this same example I am going to focus on practical results of the new water management policy which were presented in the first part of the work, in years 1870-1928. Restoration of a Wetland near Sedmihorky in the Bohemain Paradise Protected Landscape Area

This work presents a grant application for a restoration project of a wetland near Sedmihorky in the Bohemian Paradise Protected Landscape Area. It presents a general description of the locality, its history and evaluation of earlier relevant studies. A proposal of revitalizing the wetland is presented, being based both on earlier studies and the author's own observations and measurements. The proposal includes the time schedule of the restoration, financial balance sheet and visualized target state of the locality. This thesis will also serve as a key background document in the elaboration of the project blueprint by the Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic.

HISTORICAL PROFILE OF FISH FARMING IN THE MIDDLE ELBE REGION

The bachelor thesis deals with the historical development of the great past of fish farming in the Middle Elbe region, also to highlight this region and remind its important unique ponds and water building. It is mapped continued development in the Middle Elbe region, to be more specifically the territory former chamber estate Poděbrady, domains: Chlumec, Dymokury, Lysá and royal estate Nymburk. It is written down the rise of fish farming and also subsequent decline with considering to the current statement. The information was analyzed and on the representative examples were shown comparison of the original and existing ponds and their hectare area within the monitored area.

Influence of drainage systems in the basin water regime

In this thesis I generally address draining systems and their influences on the water regime of a river basin. In the first part I describe the history from ancient times to the present, development in the world and in the Czech Republic at the range from 2000 years before Christ to the current systems. The thesis also explains basic terms, such as the content of agricultural ameliorations, terms relating to dewatering, purposes and division of draining systems, methods of dewatering actions, effects of water-logging and their consequences. At the end the thesis describes the impacts of building drains for draining off, dewatering and floods and the impact on the environment. The objective of the thesis is to describe the impacts and influences of drainage on the water regime of a river basin and the associated problems.

Vliv náhradních biotopů typu tůně na ochranu podobných přirozených stanovišť v krajině

Studie pojednává o nezbytnosti vody jako média pro život na Zemi. Zabývá se ekologicky významnými vodními plochami a způsoby jejich ochrany. Z managementu ochrany a péče vyvozuje základní důvody pro hledání alternativních přístupů akumulace vody v krajině. Voda v krajině a její význam je jednou ze stěžejních kapitol rešerše, navazuje na historii vody v krajině. Důležité je pojednání o současnosti, a to zejména z pohledu zvyšování deficitu vody v krajině, zazemňování mokřadů, regulace vodních toků nebo melioračních opatření. Druhou částí práce je definice a typizace umělých vodních biotopů včetně historického vývoje v krajinářských úpravách. Z typizace umělých vodních děl se dostáváme k možnostem technologických řešení typu "biobazénů" a "přírodních koupališť" jako alternativních řešení při ochraně přirozených stanovišť.
