Deformation Surveying of Crane Track

The thesis deals with design of suitable methods to determine space relations of the particular crane tracks. These methods are investigated within the accuracy analysis. Test measurements using the designed methods are described and their results are analysed and compared with the applicable standards.

Two-bay hall for warehouse and manufacturing purposes with supporting steel structure and thermally insulating sheating with width of 36 metres and lenght of 72 metres. The hall incorporates two overhead cranes with maximum load of 32 and 40 tonnes. The main supporting structure is a system of plate girders and beams. The beams are connected with hinges and are placed with intervals of 6 metres. The hall design is intended for 1st snowing area

Steel structure of an industrial hall

The diploma thesis contains design of steel one-aisle industrial hall with span 24 m, length 63 m and height of the holder of a crane track girder 8,7 m. In hall are two overhead cranes, first with load capacity 50 tons and second with load capacity 32 tons. Main structural material is steel S 450. Is processed several versions and one is processed in detail. Drawings contain platform and section of hall and manufacturing drawings of crane runway.

Loading of the crane-runway girder

The main purpose of this bachelor project is to solve Loading of the crane-runway girder. First of all, we located the possible dangerous places where we solved the running of Shear and moment diagrams which depends on distance of loading forces p from the beginning of the crane-runway. For the mathematic solutions, we used specialized software MAPLE. The main advantage of this software is the ability of the analytic analysis. We introduced the method of the solving the crane-runway girder on three supports. The final part shows the main results and highlights the most strained parts with suggestions for decrease loading level of strained parts.

Steel structure of a hall

This bachelor thesis deals with design steel structure of industrial one-aisle hall with span of 30 m, length 63 m and height of the holder of a crane track girder 9,3 m. The hall is designed with two overhead cranes with load 50 t and 32 t. Structure is designed from steel S420. Roof structure is designed in two versions. These versions are compared by weight and better version is processed in detail. Drawings contain platforms of both versions, two cross sections and manufacturing drawings of truss.

Design of the engineering structure

The bachelor thesis deals with design issues of industrial buildings and is focused especially on design and assessment of short corbels. The first part of the thesis consists of a translation of technical text published by prof. J. Schlaich (E DIN 1045-1). In the second part of the thesis is the gained knowledge applied on assessment of existing industrial structure SUAS a.s. in Vřesová. For the analysis of short corbels is used the strut-and-tie model and the method of limitation of concrete compressive stress at the nodes of the strut-and-tie model. The thesis concludes with structural strengthening of nonconforming short corbels by using prestressed cables to ensure safe operation of the crane runway.

Industrial building

In the bachelor thesis a project for steel construction of an industrial hall in Brno area is developed. The extent of the ground plan of the hall is 30x63m with maximum height of 17,300m. The main load-bearing structural elements such as suspended purlin, truss bond timber, noggin pieces, solid-poles forming a cross linking with the bond timber, base and crane runway, are designed and considered in the static calculation. The statement of material and design documentation consisting of the design, cross-section, production drawing of a bond timber and selected details are part of the thesis.

Steel structure of an industrial building

This thesis deals with structure of the single-aisle steel industrial hall in accordance with the arrangements of the building with a span of 30 m, a height of 84 m and corresponding height of the cantilever of a crane track girder is 9,0 m. In the hall are considered two cranes with a capacity of 50/12,5 t and 32/8 t. The main bearing element is formed by lattic truss stored on solid pillar down anchored in transverse direction. Distance of transversal pillars is 12 m and between them designed hanging purlins. The structure is designed for the district of Brno.

The drawings includes transverse and longitudinal section, platform and manufacturing drawing of continuous truss.
