Employee motivation and employee benefits

The goal of this thesis is to get acquainted with the issue of employee motivation from a theoretical perspective, and then analyze the incentive system in a selected company - Sellier & Bellot. In conclusion, I would like to evaluate the lessons learned and propose some changes and recommendations for improving motivation in the analyzed company. The work is divided into four parts. The first three are rather theoretical. The first part deals with the explanation of the concept of motivation and characterizes its types and sources. The second part focuses on the motivation of negotiation at work, where the author presents the most important motivational theories dealing with the factors that encourage motivation and, on the contrary, the ones that distort motivation. The third chapter deals with the issue of employee benefits, especially their importance and classification. Then in the practical part, the knowledge acquired in the theoretical part is applied. The author tried to analyze the system of motivation in the selected company and conducted her own research through a questionnaire survey among employees of the company.

Diplomová práce je zpracována na základě dvouroční praxe ve firmě Škoda Auto v oddělení Personalistika managementu, konkrétně pak ve skupině personálního rozvoje. Mezi cílové skupiny tohoto oddělení patří studenti, trainees (absolventi vysokých škol), uchazeči do managementu a management. Cílem práce je v teoretické části představit problematiku vzdělávání a rozvoje z hlediska zajištění konkurenceschopnosti firem. V první kapitole práce je popsáno řízení lidských zdrojů a v druhé kapitole naváže na toto téma problematika vzdělávání a rozvoje pracovníků. Třetí část je věnována praktické stránce diplomové práce. Je zde popsána historie a současný vývoj firmy Škoda Auto a následně současný stav vzdělávání řídících pracovníků v podniku, se zaměřením na Trainee program. Tento program je následně detailněji popsán a jsou zde zhodnoceny všechny jeho kladné a záporné stránky. Nedílnou součástí je i průzkum mezi bývalými účastníky Trainee programu, z něhož je čerpáno při vytváření návrhů na zlepšení Trainee programu.

The objektive of this bachelor thesis is evaluace the level of motivation and stimulation of the employees in the selected company and to suggest possible solution for improvement. For bachelor thesis processing was chosen the company Josef Dráb, s.r.o., which deals with construction work. The theoretical part is focussed on koncept definitiv as motivation, stimulation, source of motivation, motivational profile, motivation working behaviour theory, stimulation theory and on the domains of utilisation of thein assets. The practical part is focussed on particular questionnaire surfy, which should find out how the company motivatites it´s employees. The end of the bachelor thesis deal with statement of the problem of questionnaire surfy and suggest a kontingent solutions.
Motivation and stimulation of employees in selected company

The goal of my thesis was to analyze and assess the current level of motivation and stimulation of employees in selected company and suggest possible changes. The work includes theoretical knowledge in the field of motivation and stimulation, information about the selected company and view on the issue of the employees, which I acquired through a questionnaire survey. Based on the survey results can be stated that employees in the company are well motivated, although there are certain things that could be improved, the main way of motivation used to be salary, but companies recognized that they need to use other advantages such as good social program.The company should not underestimate the motivation of their employees because the employees are mostly involved in the company?s result. Dissatisfaction of employees can cause deterioration of work or poor relations both in the workplace and between the employee and the client. Companies are very well aware of that investments in employees are returned many times.

This thesis focuses on the personal activity of recruitment and selection. It is split into theoretical - methodological and analytical part. Its aim is to describe and analyze the entire process of recruitment and selection of employees in the chosen company, followed by its comparison to the theoretical part. The thesis is based on literature as well as internal information provided by human resources in the company. At the end of the thesis the whole process inside the company is evaluated by the author including some ideas which could help to improve the efficiency of staff activities in company.

As a method of getting information, I used interviews, questionnaires for the staff and I gathered other information from internal documents of the company.

Next it was carried out the indexation of wage imcrease in the company and in the region in the same date. Next informations for analysis of motivation factors were prosper from questionnaire.From the analysis was made out, that in the company Tagrea, a.s. is remuneration system elaborated and the care of employees too.
Volný pohyb pracovních sil v Evropské unii

Práce podává ucelený přehled vývoje v oblasti volného pohybu pracovních sil v Evropské unii a zároveň přináší přehled a hodnocení aktuálního vývoje v této oblasti. Historický vývoj je sledován jednak z hlediska vývoje v právní oblasti a to na základě smluv a sekundárního práva EU a precedentů Evropského soudního dvora, jednak jako komparace jednotlivých vln rozšíření EU a s tím souvisejících uplatněných přechodných období. Další část práce, zaměřená na aktuální vývoj se zabývá odstraňováním přechodných období volného pohybu pracovních sil ze strany členských zemí EU vůči České republice a zároveň na základě výsledků provedeného dotazníkového šetření hodnotí postoj Čechů k možnostem pracovní migrace do zahraničí.
