Electromagnetic field scanner and its utilization in EMC measurement
Chupáč, Michal ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Kubánek, David (advisor)
Master’s thesis is focused on making the acquaintance of EMC issues and ways of electromagnetic field scanner RS321 utilization for pre-compliance measurements. First part contains analysis of available equipment’s influence on measurement results on the basis of gathered specification. Next part includes an example measurement used as operational manual for scanner and its controlling program. The most important part is correction evaluation for performed EMI measurement of signal generator using its EMC certification protocol and application of gained correction curve on independent EMI measurement of device tested by EMC testing laboratory. Other possibilities of scanner utilization are mentioned in the next chapters. Last part of the thesis contains suitability evaluation of EMC scanner on the basis of findings from performed measurements.
Gas flow measurement
Slováček, Antonín ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis brings a description and realization of new measuring devices which are designed to support student´s laboratory practice of air flow measurement techniques. The new devices and laboratory exercises help students get experience of several methods of measuring which they get to know during mandatory Bachelor's and Master's study programmes. The paper also includes a theoretical background, the knowledge of which is necessary for mastering the issue. Moreover, the paper comprises a literary search of sensors and a market research. The second part of the thesis presents possibilities of the laboratory workplace, and the results of the measurements of the new laboratory devices used for sample laboratory exercises.
Uncertainties of measurements of the dynamic viscosity
Januš, Petr ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
The thesis is deal with measuring the temperature dependence of dynamic viscosity and the calculation of measurement uncertainties. The thesis writes up the physical nature of viscosity and rheological properties. Next it is write up an overview of possible methods for measuring viscosity of liquids and overview of methods for measuring the density of liquids. An important chapter is the statistical evaluation of measured data represented mainly measurement uncertainties. In the practical part of the work is done workplace for measure the temperature dependence of dynamic viscosity. It is used two methods of measuring viscosity of liquids and two samples of liquids. Finally is done statistical evaluations of measurement. Based on the calculated measurement uncertainty measurement methods are compared.
Optimization of measurement system setting for monitoring dielectric properties of liquid insulators
Novák, Lukáš ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
Submitted work deals with problems of using LCR meters Agilent in diagnostics of insulating materials and optimization of measurement system settings for monitoring dielectric properties if liquid insulators. From measured physical value and measurement error measurement uncertainty is expressed.
Erors and Uncertainties in Temperature Measurement
Jirmásek, Jakub ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vdoleček, František (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on sources of temperature measurement uncertainties and their expressing. There is a basic description of the temperature as a physical quantity and its scale. The study describes some kinds of thermometers, focusing primarily on electric thermometers which have a dominant position in the field of automation and regulation. Further the importance of measurement uncertainty is described and its expressing. More space is devoted to the importance of different sources of uncertainty and possible compensation. Finally there is an example of determining the measurement uncertainty.
Evaluation of control processes
Šimák, Martin ; Koška, Petr (referee) ; Pernikář, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis studies the theory of evaluation of control processes. The first part of the thesis discusses about organization of national legislation and metrology legislation. The next part of the study focuses on metrology terms, theory introduction to measurement uncertainty and their expression. The final section of the thesis is devoted to statistic evaluation of processes.
The expression of the accuracy of the gauge and measurement
Svobodová, Helena ; Koška, Petr (referee) ; Pernikář, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of measurement, accuracy of measuring instruments and their expressing. It outlines the legislative basis of metrology in the Czech Republic and interprets the definitions of basic terms used in metrology. These definitions are listed in the new edition of International dictionary of metrology (VIM 3:2007). It specifies and exemplifies measurement errors and presents possibilities of their elimination. Further, it describes a simple way of measurement uncertainty determination. The aim of this thesis is to explain the issue in a way that it is understandable and can be applicable for the common metrology practice.
Optimalization check suits in production stators electric motor
Navrátil, Tomáš ; Doňarová, Jana (referee) ; Pernikář, Jiří (advisor)
Work suggests optimum check suit verification stator electric motor that the matches needs on reliability verification after method MSA.
Feasibility study for the measurement uncertainties in the proces of measurement of optical surfaces with aim to determine the total amount of errors and to recomend procedures for their minimizing
Lédl, Vít ; Psota, Pavel
For the purpose of development of precision instruments and measuring methods based on optical principles there is an analysis of the measurement uncertainties and error sources made. Experimental verification of derived dependencies is done. In conclusion summarization of a series of recommendations to minimize measurement uncertainties is made.
Verification of glucose assessment analytical method
ILLEOVÁ, Kateřina
The topic of laboratory accreditation as well as validation and verification of analytical methods has been very current in recent years. Because of the serious impact of analytical results of the measurement on practice, it is required that the results of the analytical measurements were as accurate as possible. This paper deals with the verification of the analytical method determination of glucose, as proof of achieving optimum measurement uncertainties. The verification of spectrofotometric glucose determination was performed using the Cobas Integra 800 analyzer by enzymatic hexokinase method. For the measurement in time the control materials of internal quality control were used and for the measurement in series the control materials of external quality control were used. From the measured values we specified the necessary statistical data (the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, the coefficient of variation, bias, yield) and using these we specified the values of combined and extended uncertainty. The combined uncertainties of both samples shouldn't be higher than 10 %, according to the SEKK association. The combined uncertainty of our first sample was 6.81 % and the second one had 6.45 %. The extended uncertainty of the first sample was 13.62 % and the second one had 12.90 %. From these data, we can conclude that the verification of analytical methods for the determination of glucose succeeded.
