Antonín Markus, the archivist of the town of Třeboň, and Zdeněk Wirth, the arthistorian - analysis and selective edition of the common correspondence

As it is obvious from the title of the graduate work "Antonín Markus, the archivist of the town of Třeboň, and Zdeněk Wirth, the arthistorian - analysis and selective edition of the common correspondence, the authoress primary intended to prepare the analysis and elaboration of the edition of the unique epistular collection, which covers almost a half of century of the mutual friendship and cooperation of the two important representatives of the Czech cultural scene of the first and the beginning of the second half of the 20th century. The editated correspondence is a part of the personal inheritances of the both mentioned men which is saved in the State region archive in Třeboň (Antonín Markus) and in the Institute of the history of art of the Academy of sciences of the Czech republic (Zdeněk Wirth).The first part of the diploma work brings the general essay on the correspondence as an object of the scientist´s interest and the survey of the authors of the certain works on the edition analysis of correspondence of the various personalities. Next chapter introduces the used sources and special literature which the authoress used. The life stories of Antonín Markus, the longtime archivist of the Třeboň Schwarzenberg´s archive, and Zdeněk Wirth, our eminent arthistorian and organizator of the monument preservation, are presented in the individual biographies. Next part of the work shows the analysis of the correspondence from the view of the condition and amount, kind of communication, frequence of answering and the outer look of the individual documents, which is ensembled with the topic analysis of it´s content. The commented selected edition is followed by the editing notice and the name index. Other part brings of course the list of sources and used literature. The end of the diploma work includes the visual enclosures which suitably enrich the written part.

This thesis is practically and theoreticaly composed. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with visual processing of the theme ?The Animal? in the past, including both graphics and drawing too. The thesis also discusses capture of animal movements in the artistic way. Mentioned are authors with art works in the field connected with the thesis theme, and their influence on my work. Besides other topics the discussion on usage of the technique within the educational practice is included. Practical part of thesis includes the set of fourteen prints in formats A3 and A4. The prints are processed in both black and white and color by use of the reliéf printing, specifically linocut, combined with watercolor coloring.

Visualization of the Pelvic Floor Muscles by Ultrasonography in their Paracoccygeal Electric Stimulation

Název práce: Vizualizace parakokcygeální elektrické stimulace svalů pánevního dna pomocí ultrazvuku Title: Representation of paracoccygeal electrical stimulation using ultrasonography Cíl: Cílem této studie bylo prokázat vliv parakokcygeální elektrické stimulace na svaly pánevn~ho dna, zhodnotit změny vybraných parametrů (pozice UVJ, vezikalizace, šířka m. levator ani) a vše dokumentovat pomocí ultrazvuku. Metoda: Soubor probandů tvořilo 6 žen ve věku 23-25 let, nerodiček, které nepodstoupily žádnou gynekologickou operaci. Při jednorázovém měření byly pomocí ultrazvuku zobrazeny a měřeny tyto parametry: pozice a mobilita UVJ, vezikalizace uretry, šířka m. levator ani. Sledované parametry byly sn~mány ultrazvukem pomod přístroje Acuson 128 X P 10, a to ze tří přístupů (transabdominálního, perineálního a introitálního), za použití 2 typů sond (sektorové vagináln~ 5-7 MHz a konvexn~ abdominální 3,5-5 MHz). Snímky byly pořizovány v klidu, při MVK, Valsalvově manévru a v průběhu stimulace proudem typu A (2s/3s/6s) a typu B (5s/10s/15s). Pro elektrostimulaci jsme zvolili středněfrekvenční proud s nosnou frekvencí 8000 Hz, amplitudově modulovaný na nízkofrekvenční 50 Hz. Použili jsme přístroj Universal- Neuroton 926, program ll. The subject of diploma thesis is processing of the desing documentation for new multifunctional building in the street Dělnická, cadastre unit Komín, Brno - Komin. The building is a 3 floors and one underground floor and is designed as a last building in the street on the nearly flat land. In the building is located non-residential space, dwelling units and studios. Non-residential space comprise seven parking spaces in a public underground garage, two stores barrier-free solution with the facilities and two studios 1 + 1. The residential part has two dwelling units 1 + kk, two dwelling units 2 +1 and two dwelling units 4 + kk. The building is based on a waterproof concrete structure "white tub". The vertical structure is built of clay blocks Porotherm, horizontal structures are cast-in-place reinforced concrete. The exterior building envelope is completed with thermal insulation. An internal staircase is cast-in-place reinforced concrete. The entrance to the garage for cars is possible by Autolift. The building is roofed with warm flat roof. The program tries to anticipate user's intentions and propose their quick accomplishion. The aim of this thesis solves is completely new and its function is not available even in advanced text editors. The topic is inspired by the user's interface of the programming enviroment Visual Studio, which sometimes proposes the program code the user is probably going to write. Visualization of Information in Intelligent Home

This thesis describes the design and implementation of a graphical application that shows the status of intellingent home. Application run directly on the adapter that communicates with sensors and actuators. Its graphical output can be displayed via the HDMI connector or remotely over X-Server. The application is implemented in C++ and using the Qt graphics libraries. The goal is simply and clearly to display important information about the household even in case of failure of the LAN.

Android Application for Traffic Data Visualization from Car2X Systems

This thesis brings application for mobile devices placed in cars. It is used for drivers for enhancing orientation and driving clarity. It is based on communication between roadside units and devices in vehicle. Application offers graphical visualization of intersection states and traffic lights. Created solution provides graphical visualization of traffic data designated for system Android. Main benefit is for C2X developers who test correctness of information, which were inserted to physical devices near supported intersections.

The Media Image of Visual Arts in Czech Television

The thesis consists of a context and textual analysis of Artmix, a TV show dedicated to visual arts, while touching on other relevant programs on Czech TV. The results of these analyses are then brought into theoretical setting primarily using the philosophical and social concept of the Field of Power as defined by Pierre Bourdieu in his book Rules of Art.
Principal themes, interspersing throughout the text, are the limits of reflections of visual arts through TV screen and hidden interpretational patterns applied to visual arts through its media image. Furthermore there is an additional issue of traditional notions of an artist existing within our society, weighed down by history, or the quest for the ideal format of a TV show reflecting visual arts.

Mass Spectrometry Imaging of Metformin in Tissue Sections

Mass spectrometry imaging is a powerful technique suitable for visualization of the distribution of a wide variety of compounds within tissue sections. The main aim of the study was the development and optimization of a sample preparation procedure allowing determination of the distribution of orally dosed metformin in mice kidney sections. Metformin is the first-line medication for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. The optimization of the sample preparation step before imaging experiments included the selection of a suitable matrix and the optimization of various parameters of MALDI analysis. 2,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid was identified as the best matrix providing highest sensitivity. A sublimation method was successfully used for the matrix deposition. The highest relative concentration of metformin was found in the inner zone of kidney 30 minutes after the drug administration.
