The specifics of violence against women without shelter
Piknová, Tereza ; Tomeš, Igor (advisor) ; Pěnkava, Pavel (referee)
The diploma thesis is focused on the specifics of violence against the homeless women. The thesis is divided in theoretical and empirical part. The goal of the empirical part is also to identify barriers and preconditions for the solution of violence and recommendations for optimization of help with violence. The empirical part is based on two data sets, one of them is social workers/curators, second is homeless women. The research is qualitative and is conducted in the form of semi-structured interviews. In the final part of empirical research, a comparative analysis of both data sets is performed. From the analysis are derived the conclusions and recommendations on how to contribute to setting more effective means of solving violence against the homeless women.
Secure Development Framework for Web Applications
Mazura, František ; Ovšonka, Daniel (referee) ; Barabas, Maroš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the theoretical analysis of vulnerabilities in web applications, especially the most frequent vulnerabilities of OWAST TOP 10 are examined. These vulnerabilities are subsequently analyzed for the design of a web application development framework and practically implemented in this framework to prevent the vulnerabilities or, if necessary, defend itself. The main goal of the implementation is to achieve such a framework so that the programmer of the resulting web application is protected to the utmost.
Risk analysis of IoT from the perspective of modern office buildings
Hemžal, Adam ; Luc, Ladislav (advisor) ; Veber, Jaromír (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of information security risk management amongst devices of the Internet of Things mainly in the modern office buildings of a company. The main component of risk management is their analysis. Therefore practical part discusses the risk analysis of selected devices of the Internet of Things, which are placed in the modern office building of the company. Before the analysis a sample company is defined and then an analysis of risk of these devices is made following the norm "ISO/IEC 27005 Information security risk management." The output of the thesis is a draft of measures that minimize a nascence or possible risk damage within selected devices of Internet of Things on a sample company.
Feeling of Safety and Fear of Crime in the Czech Republic
Krulichová, Eva ; Buriánek, Jiří (advisor) ; Havlík, Radomír (referee) ; Jíchová, Jana (referee)
The research on feeling of safety and fear of crime abroad has been developed since 70s of the 20th century. In the Czech Republic it became of interest at the beginning of 90s after the fall of the communist regime, while the discrepancy between actually committed and formally registered offences resulting in the sharp increase of officially recorded crime manifested itself. In response to this increase there were written first scientific studies, which mainly dealt with the development of feeling of safety and models explaining such feeling in the context of former social problems (economic stress, trust in the government). In our opinion, however, we lack a comprehensive study that discusses the feeling of safety and fear of crime phenomenon from different aspects and intend to verify the validity of the results of international studies in our milieu. Based on the existing theoretical approaches and selected data sources, the study therefore aims to illuminate the structure of the relationship between fear of crime and individual or social factors that correlate with it. The study particularly deals with the relationship between perceived risk of victimization and fear of crime, i.e. concepts that were often used interchangeably at the beginning of research in this area. The analysis has showed...
