Biomedical data visualization using Matlab
Zvončák, Vojtěch ; Mekyska, Jiří (referee) ; Galáž, Zoltán (advisor)
The thesis deals with the visualization of biomedical data in MATLAB environment. The thesis contains following statistical methods and their descriptions: P-P plot, Q-Q plot, histogram, box plot, kernel denstity estimation, scatter plot and several time series metrics. Some functions are programmed from buil-in functions of MATLAB and others using external functions, which are changed to fit to this thesis’s purpose. First part of the thesis conserns theoretical background, whereas the second part conserns practical programmed realizations of mentioned functions. The program contains a graphical user interface - GUI, which the thesis describes in detail. The purpose of the GUI is to ensure ease of use and also data processing. The output graphs of GUI are shown in chapter 5. The last part deals with the possible extensions of the program.
Servise center optimization software
Fillner, Patrik ; Novotný, Radovan (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on problematic about optimizing of service center and provides a base for creation of program for simulation and optimization. This diploma thesis also deals with hierarchical breakdown and logical structures of processes. Also there are quality determining methods and methods for visualization of processes.
Picture analysis and comparing
Novotný, Václav ; Nováček, Petr (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis concerns about analysis and image correlation. It discusses possibilities of image processing and hardware data collection system. Image database is created and algorithms for processing and comparing acquired images with reference are designed and created in this thesis.
Finding of known object in a series of digital images
Bednařík, Jan ; Hasmanda, Martin (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is detection of a known object in series of pictures. Detection is divided into two methods. First method is based on edge and color detection and comparison. Edge detection is based on detection using both Gradient and Laplacian, so on the first-order and the second-order derivative. Sobel operators were used as well as Laplacian of gaussian method. Thresholding is also used as well as autothreshold calculation. There are two variants of color detection considered in the thesis, direct color comparison and detection based on interest color search. The second part of the thesis is based on interested point detection using a modified SURF method to detect a known object in series of pictures.
Application for a Demonstration of the Histogram of Oriented Gradients Method for Object Detection
Mrázek, Zdeněk ; Dvořák, Pavel (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
The target of this thesis is summarize the theory of method Histogram of oriented gradients and process algorithm for demonstration and visualization HOG descriptor, train SVM algorithm and subsequent detection of the object. For the work environment was selected MS Visual Studio 2012 using the object-oriented C++ language with using OpenCV library.
Person Identification for Surveillance
Hopjan, Tomáš ; Juránek, Roman (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
This project deals with camera system surveillance and identification of humans. Motion detection and identification methods are presented. The main issue is people tracking using multiple camera system. Identification of individuals is accomplished using processing of decomposed colors histograms. Based on the experiments benefits and problems are introduced.
Document Comparison Based on the Color Scheme
Duchoň, Matúš ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Milička, Martin (advisor)
This paper proposes the method of web document comparison based on the color scheme. It focuses on issues of color scheme retrieving. There are suggested two methods that are using CSSBox library [1]. Also, a suggestion for a document normalization is introduced. Its main goal is to identify and unite possible dynamic content of given document which could negatively affect results of retrieving. Suggested procedures are implemented in the library. It was tested on a set of web documents.
Numerical methods for the analysis of light polarization in the solar corona
Gajdůšková, Kateřina ; Štarha, Pavel (referee) ; Hoderová, Jana (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of polarization of light in the solar corona. Photographs taken during a total solar eclipse are processed using software Matlab and the Image Processing Toolbox package. The main objective is to determine the polarized and unpolarized part of the light in the solar corona.
Digitization of data for non-conforming pieces (NOK) in the company
Ježek, Jiří ; Zuth, Daniel (referee) ; Maradová, Karla (advisor)
The Masters thesis is focused on the digitalization of data for non-conforming pieces with NOK status made on assembly line. It is mainly about designing a solution that will help to eliminate the nowadays outdated analogue methods. For the choice of digitization, two methods of solution implementation will be proposed in the thesis along with the method of data reporting. These streamlining will consequently lead to not only time but also economic savings for the company. The thesis concludes with recommendations for further development and economic evaluation.
Detect the Use of Retouch Filters in a Face Image
Kraváček, Adam ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Goldmann, Tomáš (advisor)
These days, altering images via filters is one of the easiest ways of enhancing its properties. Social networks like Instagram or Snapchat, focused primarily on image sharing, offer their users the option to apply filters on their images, which alter their colours to make them look better. If someone was to extract images from these platforms, many of these images would have a filter applied. This thesis explains the principles of these filters and focuses on detection of filters on facial images. Several approaches to detecting filters are being experimented with. Detection by analysis of histograms and detection by convolutional neural network achieve the best results and so are implemented in a program with a simple user interface. They achieved a success rate of 94,44% (histogram) and 99,10% (CNN). This thesis also investigates the impact of filters on facial recognition, where the impact varies depending on the filter used. Some filters have a significant impact on the rate of successful identifications, whereas others have little impact. In general, however, it can be said that the changes introduced by the application of filters are not negligible.
