Firm Analysis by Different Methods

This Master´s thesis focuses on analyzing a firm of my choosing. More specifically, it is a limited liability firm operating in the fields of architecture, design and construction. Using both external and internal analysis, including other selected analyses and their results, it clarifies the firm's position in the market in which it operates and evaluates its overall condition and structure. The conclusion advises on several proposals that lead to the overall improved state of the chosen firm.

The master’s thesis is focused on development of the business plan, particularly the proposal for extending production in the small engineering company Unicode M&D Ltd. The first part deals with the theoretical resources needed for drafting. The second part contains analysis of neighbourhood. The last part presents the specific proposal for extanding production in this company.

This master´s thesis deals with Invia.cz, a.s. performance analysis. First part of the thesis contains basic theoretical knowledge, regarding methods of company performance measurement. Next part is focused on description of the studied company and then performance assessment of the chosen company using START Model based on EFQM Excellence Model is elaborated. Proposals for improvement of the current situation are suggested in the last chapter.

This thesis deals with the performance measurement of REMAK, a.s. In the theoretical section are explained performance related concepts, there are descriptions of individual systems for performance measurement and analysis used in the desription of the current state of company. The following part focuses on the description of the analyzed company and a description of the current situation using individual analyzes and model START PLUS. Next part is own suggestions for solutions and benefits of the proposals.

For my thesis I have chosen the analysis of the current state of the company called „Stavební doprava a mechanizace, Praha a. s.” in the area of the economic growth and human resources and its impacts for the customers. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the latest knowledge in this issue, present trends and the explanation of the basic perception. In the practical part of the thesis there is shown the evaluation of the current state of the company and are included suggestions for maintaining the long-term development of the company.

The topic of this thesis is to increase the competitive position of the firm Plastika a.s. with the help of creation a new marketing strategy for the next period of time. The analysis of the present marketing strategy is the base for it. The first part of this work is based on the theory. The second part introduces the company Plastika a.s.. There is carried out the analysis of the current situation which focuses on its present marketing strategy. The third suggestion part formulates the suggestion of the new marketing strategy for the next period of time which will lead to the improvement of the competitive position of the firm Plastika on the market.

Analytical processes of marketing in building industry

This bachelor thesis deals with the analytical processes of marketing in the civil engineering. It is divided in two parts.The first one is a theoretical part, which is focused on the description of the market environment, targeted marketing, marketing mix, analysis of the marketing environment and marketing strategies applicable in the civil engineering. In the second part I analyze the company by application of GE matrix, Porter's analysis, SLEPT analysis and SWOT analysis. At the end of the thesis I present a summary of recommendations and proposal of marketing strategy based on the results and findings from these analyses, which should lead to better position of the company in the market.

Economical analysis of Pivovar Herold Březnice, a.s. in confrontation with development of the field

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of Pivovar Herold Březnice a.s. using methods of financial analysis. The analysis is based on data from 2011 to 2015. Amongst the methods is the vertical and horizontal analysis of balance sheet and profit and loss statement. There are also balance rules, indicator ratios, Du Pont decomposition of ROE, EVA, creditworthy and bankruptcy models and comparison to the field. Afterwards, Porter five forces analysis is used to analyse the surroundings of the company, which is not a part of financial analysis. These methods are described in the theoretical part and then applied in the practical part. The end of the work contains overall conclusion and evaluation of the company and its most important parts. There is also a recommendation about the future focus of the company.
