Data transmission in mobile networks
Bílek, Petr ; Molnár, Karol (referee) ; Havelka, Dušan (advisor)
The Bachelor’s thesis deals with mapping and usage of mobile networks of data transfers. It describes every particular generation of networks and technologies that they can use. This thesis is divided into two main parts, theological and practical. In the first part, the technologies of the second and third generation currently used for data transfer in mobile networks are described there. This concerns especially GPRS, EDGE and UMTS services. The thesis focuses on modulations used for these technologies, together with the coding and bit rates possible. It compares their advantages and disadvantages and presents their utilization among national operators. It also tries to sketch out the way the data services of mobile networks will proceed. The second part of the thesis is also divided into two parts. The first one is the simulation of the UMTS network with the assistance of the OPNET Modeller 14.5 environment. In this case, the thesis aims at two important characteristics - such as the dependence on the bit rate and distance of the primary station, and dependence on the bit rate and total load of the whole network. Both characteristics are observed mainly because of the bit rate and power characteristics. It describes objects and funcions of the OPNET environment. The next part in the practical section is the factual measurement of the Internet 4G service, provided by T-Mobile operator. The thesis focuses here on the presentation of the outcomes which were accomplished by the practical measurement of that service. The end of this thesis is dedicated to the comparasion of simulated outcomes with the outcomes practically measured, and to the conclusion of the results emerged from them.
Automatic measurement of the motor vehicles distance.
Juřica, Lukáš ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Říčný, Václav (advisor)
This work deals with evaluation of equipment used for non-contact measurement of distance between vehicles. First are discussed various principles of measuring and after the selection of the most appropriate solution is proposed a detailed block diagram of modulation, demodulation and evaluation of the whole system and its mathematical description. Another part is devoted to describing the activities of the microprocessor controller, with which is controlled evaluation part and to the control program. It also analyzes the maximal attainable accuracy of measurement and the errors that affect it. The last part includes a circuit design and simulation of selected functional block, which is a coincidence /quadrature/ detector and construction documents for evaluation and demodulation part of the measurement instrument.
Simulation of data transmission latency between nodes in IP networks
Balej, Jiří ; Molnár, Karol (referee) ; Komosný, Dan (advisor)
This master thesis is focused on the delays incurred in data transmitting over IP networks. The top of the paper is devoted to points, where delay is invoked and causes of the latency. For individual sources of delay are are described the parameters that affect the usual size of latency. The next section describes the types of networks and their typical delay. In the paper are also discussed tools for measuring delay and determining the number of intermediate devices. The thesis contains results of measurements delay time in the real network. For these results are listed conclusions about the delay for one intermediate device. There is also said general ratio of crow-fly distance and calculated distance. The last part deals the simulation of delay in the NS2 program. The results of thesis are scripts that shows the relation of delay and the number of switches, routers, and the length of the path.
Stereometric ultrasonic distance sensor
Nguyen, Thuc Tuyen ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with designing and realizing a sensory system for detecting the presence of targets and its location. Target is located by two parameters: the distance and the view angle from sensory system. This system is set up by two ultrasonic distance sensors SRF02, driven by microcontroller Atmega128, using I2C communication protocol. The placement of the two ultrasonic distance sensors is optimized by using mathematical model, it enables the system to perform optimum accuracy and be able to observe the largest area possible. The measurement results then will be shown on LCD display module or they can be saved and used as input parameters for other tasks.
Creeper
Pavelka, Roman ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor project concerns with design solution of the creeper. Besides, the project specifies limitation of the chain gearings including various chain types. The project includes also the process calculation. Please find attached following design drawings General Arrangement, Sub- arrangements and Production Detail Design at the of the bachelor project.
Local Ventilation
Bilík, Martin ; Otáhal, Jan (referee) ; Krejčí, Vladimír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with local ventilation, especially a variant of the local exhausting. At the start of work shall indicate the reasons why it is ventilation very important. There are listed some requirements for ventilation of technical and legislative terms. Ventilation systems are analyzed by several criteria in the next part. The next chapter of this work is devoted to systems and methods of local ventilation. In one chapter is made and a description of the distribution parts of the ventilation system. The last chapter deals with designing and using exhaust adapters. There is also made comparison of their parameters, which represent the operating costs associated with using these adapters.
Family house in Myjava
Mizerák, Maroš ; Kalužová, Alena (referee) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
The theme of bachelor´s thesis is new-building family house in Myjava. In the house is one living room on the first floor and four are in the second floor. The building is set in sloping terrain. It has two floors and one underground floor. Second floor is solved in the attic. It is a brick building, which is the system POROTHERM with a combination of BTB fittings in the basement. Roofing is solved by gabled roof with a pitch 32° and 37°.
FAMILY HOUSE WITH THE SURGERY GENERAL PRACTITIONER
Volf, Josef ; Vlach, František (referee) ; Štěpánek, Ladislav (advisor)
The theme of bachelor´s thesis is new-building family house with the surgery general practitioner. The residential area is divided for the two separate housing units. One of the apartments is duplex. The Surgery is wheelchair accessible. It has a separate entrance form the north side. The building is set in sloping terrain. It has three floors, it is partly basement and 3NP is solved in the attic. It is a brick building, which is the system POROTHERM with a combination of BTB fittings in the basement. Roofing is solved by a combination gabled and rack roof with a pitch 35° and 15°.

Aesthetic Distance in Fiction and Fictional Worlds
DURASOVÁ, Renata
This bachelor thesis focuses on the problems of aesthetic distance and its expressions in fiction and fictional worlds. It analyses texts dealing with the theory of fiction and searches them for a certain mode of dissociation, which can be identified with the concept of psychical distance. Based on illustrative examples concerning aesthetic situations, it shows that psychical distance is an artistic principle derived from the recipient's attitude, and therefore a basic factor for the formation of fictional worlds as such.
