This thesis focuses on the development of approaches to stimulate employees at company Vodovody a kanalizace Kromeriz,a.s. It analyzes the system of employee motivation in the company and compares the set assumptions with reality. It contains proposals that support not only employee satisfaction, but also improve communication and relationships in the workplace. The proposals can also lead to improved opportunities of personal developmentand greater employee motivation.

This master’s thesis is devoted to investigation of the issues connected with the competence and personal development of the employees at manager positions. The thesis consists of four parts. In the first part, the questions connected with competence are detailed. The second part deals with selected problematic of staff-testing and the following part describes the possibilities of personal development and further education of employees. The last part is devoted to the practical application of the theoretical knowledge’s in real working environment. The conclusions in the form of recommended changes are also included in this part.
Self-knowledge and Optimism as the Co-factors Determining a Successful Manager

n recent years, self-knowledge and optimism have been considered phenomena helping men succeed. The diploma thesis was aimed at investigating whether selected successful managers possess self-knowledge and optimism, and whether these phenomena might help them be successful. The subjects were the finalists of the competition Manager of the Year 2014. Semi-structured interviews were used as a method in the research. The diploma thesis concludes that the selected managers possess high levels of self-knowledge in certain areas. They use methods for raising self-knowledge such as experience, behavior reflections, or raising self-knowledge through other people. The managers find self-knowledge important for reasons such as: setting a direction in life, setting goals, managing people, or developing self-control. The data analysis included the comparison of the managers in areas of self-knowledge, optimism and mindset.
Lifestyle of a poker player

This thesis is devoted to one of the most popular card games: poker. The goal is to analyze lifestyle of a poker player. The theoretical part is focused on the most widespread variant of poker: Texas NL Holden. I also searched for connections between card games in general and gambling. Then there are provided some basis of lifestyle and related fields. Practical part is mostly about depth interviews with active and former czech poker players.
The work motivation and personal development of students

This Bachelor Thesis has the goal to find out what is important for students regarding motivation and by which means do they approach their development. The theoretical part of the Thesis takes a look at various motivational theories and attitudes towards human resources management. It touches also the attributes of personal development and work on individuality. The practical part consists of the survey among Czech university students, by questionnaire. What follows is the comparison of theoretical knowledge with survey results and recommendation for universities and employers toward the future. The conclusion summarizes the whole Thesis.

The thesis deals with the research motivation organized children and youth for breeding in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes aspects and effects of pet supplies such as leisure activities. Specific educational aspects of breeding activities in personal development. It also describes the issues and going through breeding for the protection of animals and nature. The practical part includes the preparation and implementation of research organized by the motivation of children and young people from different breeders' organizations operating in the country. It details and comments on the results of the research and is divided according to other criteria. Represents Czech Breeders Association as a volunteer non-profit organization working with children and youth organizing prestigious international competition for young breeders Olympics.
Manager´s personality development and lifelong learning in knowledge economics

The aim of this thesis is to analyze approaches to personality development of manager in the context of lifelong learning in knowledge economy trends, including specific proposals for desired direction of current practice. The research was focused on both influences acting on personality of the manager, as well as to his own views and preferences. An important factor was the focusing of the questions that have been used for research in previous thesis and enable us to compare responses within two years. The conclusion, therefore, may indicate the likely future development of issues. The research involved 160 managers. They were divided into four sectors - public administration, financial services organizations, tourism organizations and manufacturing organizations. The first method of data collection used a quantitative method - interviews by questionnaires. Data were evaluated separately for each category and made into tables and graphs. It was followed by partial results and discussions on particular issues. As the second, qualitative data collection method was chosen semi-structured interview based on a questionnaire. During a semi-structured interview questioner put emphasis on reasoned personal satisfaction or dissatisfaction in the organization, particularly interesting opinions, suggestions and improve their own knowledge.
The use of punishments and rewards in raising children

The main subject of this work are forms of rewards and punishments, and their most common use in the upbringing of children by their parents. The theoretical part of this bachelor work is focused on quoting important expertise and definitions that relate to the issue. It deals with the links between upbringing and pedagogical concepts as well as educational styles in the family. Also are described different concepts of rewards and punishments. Practical part is based on a survey. Through the research questions was investigated, which rewards and punishments occure in the society, with what frequency, and how the children perceive these rewards and punishments. The results are presented in tables and graphs, confronted with literature and commented.
Analysis of students’ motivation to go for AIESEC internships

This thesis deals with motivation of students who are going for internships with AIESEC. The theoretical part introduces organization AIESEC, gathers information about topic of motivation and also describes the whole process of going for internship together with explanation of the role of coordinator for interns. The empirical part presents results from the research that was conducted to find out what was the motivation of students going for internships and also motivation of coordinators, who are directly working with interns. Both researches were based on written online questionnaires distributed to interns and coordinators. Analysis of results was followed by recommendations for improvement of work with interns and coordinators.
The Dynamics of The Self-concept of Self-development Music Therapy Group Participants.

This thesis pursues an issue of dynamics of the self?concept of self?development music therapy group participants. The intention is to investigate how participants evaluate their personal development in relation to passing the seminar. The theoretical part deals with self-concept as a dynamic part of the self. Its development is not related only to maturation but also to lifelong psycho-spiritual growth. Then it introduces a self-actualization theory. Self-knowledge and integration of unconscious part of the self is crucial for fulfillment of personal potential. That is possible also through music therapy. The practical part explores subjectively conceived self-development in non-intensive music therapy group. The research group consists of participants of a voice therapy seminar. The research is carried out by interviews, then processed by thematic coding and sorted into typology. Respondents reveal progress in preview of long-term-solved psyche problems, in integrating newly emerged problems and changes in communication.
