Home weather station based on Raspberry Pi
Špringer, Radek ; Červenka, Vladimír (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and build a home weather station using the platform \raspi{}. The weather station is divided into computing and sensor part. The sensor part of the weather station is implemented through a wireless module, which measures the temperature, pressure, brightness and moisture. The measured values are sent to the weather station computer, where they are processed by \raspi{}. The processed values are then stored in a MySQL database on an external web server. On the web server, the user is shown the actually measured values, graphical waveforms of meteorological data with the option to display the course during the selected day of a year.
Solution proposal for inteligent house using wireless sensors
Macháček, Jan ; Strašil, Ivo (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
The purpose of the bachelor's thesis was design of system for management of an Intelligent House based on a platform Raspberry Pi. The paper contains design of expansion panel from GPIO port of Raspberry Pi. The expansion panel includes many controllable peripheries which can be accessed by a control panel or a web interface. The complex system can manage various electrical devices and interact based on given conditions.
Quantification of energy contribution of solar system control unit
Míčková, Petra ; Mišurec, Jiří (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this work is to study the problems of solar energy and its use in solar systems. Furthermore, to become familiar with a particular solar system for hot water, especially with the principle of energy conversion and features individual components. It is designed and implemented measurement method to determine whether the control unit for the system is important, or would be better even without it.
Data logger for Gas Boiler
Frnka, Peter ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design and realization of a datalogger designated for logging data acquired gas boiler controls. The gas boiler controls are under development by Honeywell Brno. The datalogger is implemented on Raspberry Pi hardware platform with voltage converters supplied by Honeywell Brno. Measurement application, which is part of datalogger firmware was developed in C programming language. All data that are measured during datalogger runtime are stored on data storage. The measured data are presented to the user by a web application. The web application and data storage are put into operation on the main server, which is the part of local network in Honeywell Brno. In result of this thesis, data logging system capable of collecting data from furnace controls was developed. Created device helps with research, development and testing of furnace controls.
Electronic notice board LCD
Chmelař, Petr ; Franek, Lešek (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This paper focuse at market research with digital signages, kiosks, and the subsequent suggestion directed on the concept of the new system and its hardware parts and software. The aim of this work is grounded on creating the concept of electronic boards, which is derived from the market research. The concept of the system is describing the principle of functioning of the digital signage, possibilities of controlling and system administration itself. The suggestion of the hardware part of the system contains the selection of appropriate mechanism for realization of the software part of the system and the proposal of controlling and signaling aspects, which are suitable for communication with users.
Home automation system
Bajgl, Vojtěch ; Král, Jan (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with home automation systems. First part of the thesis is focused on analysis of commercially available state-of-the-art systems. The most common ones are compared in terms of their functions, properties, principles of operation and their price. Second part of the thesis describes design and development of custom system for home automation. The aim is to build a cheap alternative to the commercially available systems. The design description starts from schematic design of particular components through PCB design to firmware and software development. The system is based on Raspberry PI 2B microcomputer which controls all the required home electronic equipment via user-friendly web-based interface. Several different ways of use of the system are discussed as well as some useful features of the microcomputer.
Monitoring and control system
Taťák, Martin ; Fujcik, Lukáš (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
This thesis discusses the topic of internet of things and its protocols and compatible devices in the field of home automation. Also defines the requirements for the system which designs in the form of concept and afterward makes practical realization.
The obstacle detection
Hradiský, Marek ; Čožík, Ondřej (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with design and the processing of video captured by Raspberry PI and the possibility of object detection in video. In this thesis is described Raspberry PI as well as video capturing by PiCamera module. There is also section about video processing by OpenCV.
Universal Metering Device for LTE Mobile Networks
Image processing on Raspberry Pi platform for mobile robotics
Kapitančik, Maroš ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
This thesis deals with developing of image processing algorithm for robots controlled by informations taken from visual system. Core of the used system constitutes low-budget platform Raspberry Pi. Before the development of algorithm there is a series of test for image processing which discovers possibilities of used platform. Problem solution is divided to several parts. Limited performance frequently leads to individual problem solving. Afterall is shown sensitivity and performance analysis of developed solution.
