Economy of North Rhine-Westphalia and its place in FRG

Bachelor thesis is concerned with essential economic indicators, investment environment and investment incentives of North Rhine-Westphalia. Furthermore, it analyses foreign trade and trade relationship with the Czech Republic. FRG and the federal state are compared internationally and mutually from various perspectives.
Influence of the German Foreign Direct Investment on the Czech economy

The author is concerned with the influence and the significance of the German foreign direct investment in the Czech Republic. Positive and negative effects of FDI are mentioned including investment incentives and the analysis of the inflow of the German FDI. Moreover, as an example, there is a case study on Czech automobile company Škoda Auto in connection with its German investor Volkswagen.
Significance of selected EU country in the process of FDI inflows to the Czech Republic since mid-nineties

This bachelor thesis analyzes the significance of FDI flows from the Federal Republic of Germany to the Czech Republic since mid-nineties. The introduction of thesis consists of an overview of the overall FDI in the Czech Republic. The next part of thesis evaluates the system of investment incentives, which was adopted in 1998, and subsequently enacted in 2000. Furthermore, describes the process of FDI inflows after accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union. The last part of this work examines the impact of German companies, primarily on the sector and geographic breakdown, employment, labour productivity and impact of investment incentives. Thesis is concluded by an outline of a current situation and the future possible development of FDI inflow from Germany to the Czech Republic.
Investment Climate in Hungary

The thesis is divided into four main chapters. The first one deals with the geographical, demographic, socio-cultural, political and economic profile of Hungary. The second one focuses on the key features of the investment climate, analyzes the macroeconomic factors, describes the governance and infrastructure. The third chapter deals with investments and investment incentives in Hungary. I summarize the effects of financial and economic crisis, I assess the Hungarian investment climate and I estimate perspectives for the future in the last chapter.
Investment Support in Visegrad Four

In the first chapter the thesis describes the theoretical forms of investment and the key aspects for investment decision. In the second chapter, the support systems of individual countries are characterized. The third chapter focuses on the key sectors for investment in Visegrad four and their support. In last chapter, the thesis summarizes common and different features of the investment support systems and offers the SWOT analysis including recommendations for next steps.
The influence of the investments and the investment incentives on the development of the economy in the Czech Republic and in the region of the former German Democratic Republic

The Czech Republic and the region of the former German Democratic Republic were both in the nineties of the past century transferred from state-owned economics into market-oriented economics. The bachelor work compares the economy development of the Czech Republic and of the German Democratic Republic, analyzes political, economical and other starting conditions for the transformation in both countries. In the following sites it considers the description, analysis and comparison of the financial and other supports of invest activities in these regions and it highlights the importance of the state agencies. The last chapter tries to compare prognosis of the possible development in both countries.
Comparison of systems of investment incentives in Romania and Bulgaria

Romania and Bulgaria in 2007 became the latest EU members. Both countries were predominantly agricultural oriented with little developed industry and service sector. One of the objectives which these Balkan states after the fall of the Iron Curtain have set was to get closer to the economic level of western countries. The main objectives of investment incentives in both countries are regional development, employment, labourforce, modernization and use of renewable energy sources. The aim of my work is analysis and comparison of investment climate, investment incentives and foreign direct investment in Romania and Bulgaria. In the first chapter I deal with general characteristics of investment incentives. In the second and third chapter I research particular state aid schemes in Romania and Bulgaria, investment climate and foreign direct investment, which I compare in the last chapter. Both countries differ in speed of the process of establishment and registration of companies, taxes and state aid systems.
Analysis of investment environment in the Czech republic

The thesis deals with the topic of the investment environment in the Czech Republic and its analysis that has to show if the Czech Republic is suitable for direct foreign investment -- from the view of foreign investors. At first, the thesis defines concepts of investment and trends that are spread from the global point of view -- this theoretical chapter is base for the practical analysis of the investment environment in the Czech Republic. The analysis is aimed to the finding of determinants that affect decisions of foreign investors -- these determinants are positive and negative. On the base of this analysis are formulated recommendations for the improving of the state of the investment environment.
Investment climate of Germany

The thesis is divided into five basic sections. The first one deals with brief characteristic of German economy and with different development in the FRG and GDR after the Second World War. The second chapter focuses on constituent elements of German investment climate, which are evaluated on the basis of PEST analysis. In the following part I deal with a system of investment incentives in Germany and with legislation which is related to it. In the fourth section an investment climate of eastern and western Germany are compared. The last chapter focuses on a flow of FDI to the FRG.

The paper concerns with both economic and uneconomic variables and bring a comprehensive view on this country. In frame of the country access to the foreign capital deal this paper with legal framework, investment incentives and newly created investment promotion agency.
