Aproximace modelu stability kráčivého robotu
Krejsa, Jiří ; Grepl, Robert ; Věchet, S.
The paper compares global and local approximation methods used for walking robot stability model. Global approximators are represented by feedforward multilayer neural network (FFNN) trained by gradient method; local approximators are represented by Locally Weighted Regression (LWR) and Receptive Field Weighted Regression (RFWR) methods.

Visualizace a numerické modelování stísněného koaxiálního proudu
Trávníček, Zdeněk ; Hrubý, Jan ; Vogel, J.
This study deals with the limiting geometry of confined coaxial jets when the outer diameter of the annular jet is identical with that of the confining round duct. The visualization was made in air, the numerical simulation used software FLUENT. The study focused on laminar flows, and on the stability loss of the inner round jet. To portrayal three-dimensional and helical structures, a stereoscopic technique was employed. The passing frequency was evaluated stroboscopically.

Analysis of External Economic Stability of the Czech Republic
Kuncl, Martin ; Žamberský, Pavel (advisor) ; Taušer, Josef (referee)
The purpose of this paper is to analyse external economic stability of the Czech Republic. The external economic stability is defined and basic theory related to especially intertemporal approach to external balances is reviewed. Special consideration is given to the transition character of the economy. The descriptive as well as econometric analysis (VAR and cointegration models) find that the Czech Republic is not dangerously imbalanced. A potential threat is found to be reresented by government budget deficits due to the problem of twin deficits.
