My thesis is focused on the issue of non-profit organizations. The first part is devoted to general, non-profit organizations, their characteristics and their specific accounts. The second part is devoted to a specific civic association already Šternberk Chapter of People to People International, the accounting and the economy.
Grants for promoting alternative energy sources

This work deal with the characteristics of alternative energy sources, their usage, comparing with nonrenewable energy sources and of development alternative energy sources above all by grant programs. Important part of this work is also comparing efectivnes and costs. Practical part is followed by a list of requirements and operations necessary for a succesfull and proper utilization of grants. The goal of this work is to show influence of energy production on world economic-political situation especially comparing nonrenewable and alternative sources. Accomplishment of this work I consider finding answer on question: "Is it possible to incorporate alternative energy sources into the regular energy production without grant programs?"
Impact of the Current Crisis on Economy of Great Britain

The thesis focuses on the impact of the current global financial and economic crisis on economy of United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The aim of the thesis is to assess the impact on the economy as a whole as well as on selected sectors. The first part introduces the causes and timeline of the crisis. The thesis then concetrates on the macroeconomic impact of the crisis on Great Britain, i.e. economic output, labour market, public finance, price development and balance of payments. The effect of the crisis on the construction industry and banking sector is analysed in the second part of the thesis. The final part aims to assess the measures of British government and central bank introduced during the crisis.
The position of tourism in the Italian and Croatian economy

Analysis of each country is divided into three main sections. The first section describes the economic, location and realization conditions which are important for the development of the tourism in Italy and Croatia. The second part is about inbound tourism and how the tourism industry impacts on GDP, employment and investments in each Italian and Croatian region. The prospects of tourism in Italy and Croatia are defined in the last chapter.
Economic implication of euro introduction (Slovakia and other V4 countries)

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the effects of euro adoption on the economy. The main focus is to describe situation in Slovakia as a new member state of eurozone and to examine stages of preparation for euro adoption of other former V4 members -- Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland. The economy of all countries is strongly influenced by world financial crisis, effects of which are definitely being considered and reflected in this depiction.
Economic, political and social impacts of oil exports in selected countries with a focus on Venezuela

This thesis is focused on the influence of money, that comes from oil export, on economy, politics and society of selected oil exporting countries: Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Norway, Ira nand Equatorial Guinea. The first part characterizes oil, its extraction, reserves, flows, and consumption . The influence of oil on economy, politics and society is explained on the example of Venezuela in the second chapter. In the third part the effects in the other countries are compared. The key question is: Is the oil wealth advantage or disadvantage for the country?
The economy of the European Union and its importance in the global economy

This thesis examines contemporaneous state of economy of the European Union, factors influencing it and importance of these factors for the EUs position in the global economy.The first chapter is concerned with characteristics as the economic output, area and population of the EU, its macroeconomic situation and differentiation of member states. The second chapter analyses factors affecting external economic relations between EU and third countries. The third chapter evaluates previous findings and uses them to describe the position and status of the EU in the global economy.

Bachelor thesis is concerned with problems of economy and financing of allowance organizations that are part of non-profit sector. This is specifically that its primary aim is not to reach the profit as it is by other economic subjects but its function is in providing goods and services that are not fully secured. Non-profit organizations differ in accounting system by the companies. They have their own cooperation, methods of accounts and way of financing and accounting. Individual chapters are concerned with problems of financing and accounting. In the end of thesis is analysed economic activity of allowance organization Hospital in Jablonec nad Nisou in years 2007 - 2009.
Commonwealth of Independent States at the beginning of 21st century

Commonwealth of Independent States is a regional organization consisting of states of former Soviet Union. Presently the importance of the region is growing, the reason is oil and mineral resources in certain member countries. Geopolitically and strategically it is a significant part of the world. The subject of my research is not only the Commonwealth as a whole, but it is also the research of the individual states, and especially its economies. I am comparing them with each other and trying to find their strengths and weaknesses. My bachelor thesis aim is to answer the question whether the CIS organization has the asset for its members and whether it helped them to start a new era of government with its own autonomy after the disintegration of the Soviet Union.
Australia and its Importance in the World Economy

The aim of my thesis is to analyze Australia's political and economic situation. My thesis consists of two parts. In the first part I describe Australia in terms of geography, and I acquaint readers with its history, especially after World War II. In the second part I deal with the current economic situation of Australia, and political system which I compare to the political system in Great Britain within the Commonwealth. In conclusion, I summarize my work and find out Australia's future strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats using SWOT analysis.
