Controller of hot runner for injection molds
Chrenka, Eduard ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The thesis focuses on implementation of a hot runner controller for injection molds for plastic materials with a maximum number of 56 regulated zones. The first part of the thesis deals with already existing and used solutions of the given subject. The following part of the thesis describes the principles of temperature measurement by means of thermoelectric sensors, including their linearization as well as communication protocols MODBUS, EUROMAP 17. The identification of a regulated system ( heating zone) has been carried out before the hardware design. The development process is divided into some parts : system conception, hardware design, software development. The controller consists of measuring modules designed to collect data and handle power controllers for management of performance of heating elements. The necessary calculation power is integrated into the controllling computer. All parts of a hot runner controller are implemented taking into account the costs.
Scoreboard for timekeeping
Večeřa, Jaroslav ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with reparation and modernization of scoreboard, which was designed by Bc. Róbert Heves in 2007. The first part of this thesis describes principle of scoreboards connection. Afterwards, it describes analysis of mistakes, which had been made and found in construction of scoreboard. It shows redesigned blueprint and describes its realization. This thesis also includes verification of connections functionality, which has been done in laboratory as well as under common conditions.
The Design of Enlargement of Sensor and Control Module of Mobile Robots Named Brontes
Husar, Jan ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Florián, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the proposal of the sensory module and the control of mobile robots named Brontes enlargement. For this purpose a printed circuit board named MX05 was created, which extends its functionality via connection to the control board named LTR001.2. Construction of the board was conducted on the bases of the needs and requirements coming from robot peripherals. The proposal was created containing the control, protection and filtering features. Further, the board was realized and inhabited. Using MX05 creates a great simplification of wiring and there is implied the extension of the original features that are useful not only in robots Brontes.
Positioning System for Sound Intensity Probe
Sedlář, Pavel ; Kouřil, Jiří (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a development of a 2-dimensional positioning equipment for an acoustic measurement using modules of linear positioning axises MAXS1BR and PAS41BR and stepping motors ILS1R573PB1A0 by Schneider Electric. These motors include integrated power stage and interface RS485. An interface converter using integrated curcuit MAX232 by MAXIM for interconnection between these motors and a control computer was designed. The circuit of the converter was built and tested in a solderless breadboard at rst. Afterwards, a printed circuit board was developed using software EAGLE Layout Editor. This thesis also includes a documentation of mechanic parts, which are necessary to grip measuring appliances.
Relay output module for electronic tachograph
Feilhauer, Petr ; Sirka, Martin (referee) ; Zezulka, František (advisor)
This bachelor thesis contains detailed description of function and wiring current Electronic tachograph RE1xx from company UniControls-Tramex. For comparison there is mentioned description of competitor’s products from this branch. The part of this thesis is analysis of measurement actual speed on the train vehicles and analysis of imaging information to staff of vehicle. The base of this finding is making several projects about future way of development of this electronic tachograph. Main programmes of this thesis are design, implementation and verification functions of module relays outputs for Electronic tachograph RE1xx. Practically design must be satisfy with basic technical-law specifications, which refer of this branch for application this device. Thesis contains the description of single parts of scheme, control microcontroller, using of integrated circuits. Further thesis will contain theoretical calculations, design of main software and his implementation to the module. The aim of design and implementation of module relays outputs is evaluation reached outcomes from view technical solutions, functions and price statement of the module.
Wireless data acquisition system
Kováč, Jakub ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this work is design of system for wireless data collection from energy meters. The work shows issues of smart metering and explains meters communication. There is designed and described concept of the system composed of RF modules connected to data concentrator. Designed RF module uses SoC radio CC430F5137 and it is connected to a data concentrator via RS485 bus. For the purposes of communication as well as firmware update, the communication protocol is designed. In the next part the work focuses on design and creation of RF module frmware, bootloader for RF module and software application for energy meter data processing.
Microcontroller based laboratory kit
Zach, Roman ; Šír, Michal (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis presents the design and construction of microcontroller based laboratory kit. Hardware part describes the wiring of microcontroller based laboratory kit. Software section describes the function of each program.
Generic logic analyzer
Tajč, Martin ; Povalač, Karel (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The aim of the project is to design a generic logic analyzer based on an FPGA. The analyzer should be able to analyze protocols such as I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485 and GPIO. The captured data can be observed using an embedded graphical display or using a PC. The PC can be used to control the analyzer and to save the captured data. The thesis is divided into several parts. First, the basic structure of the analyzer is described including detailed description of its particular components. Later on, the most common protocols that can be decoded using the analyzer are described. Finally, the FPGA subsystem and microcontroller application are presented together with corresponding source codes.
Safety module for promotional robot of FEEC BUT
Španihel, Pavol ; Burian, František (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design a safety module for promotional robot FEEC BUT robot, which is based on evaluation kit RDK-IDM-SBC. The security module allows authorized persons control different parts of the robot (monitors, computers and subsystems included in the robot).
Date acquire system for Micropel's PLC network
Klusáček, Jan ; Valach, Soběslav (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This paper deals with desgin and implementation of hardware and software for data acquisition device. Device is based on single board computer FoxBoard G20 which is placed on custom board which provide RS485 interface and short-term UPS. Device is runing Linux with device driver which enabling communication with Micropel PLCs across RS485 bus. Data are read from PLCs are saved to database and afterwards presented to user via web interface.
