Požáry Granite, cropping out on NW margin of Central Bohemian Plutonic complex, is ranked to the most valuable decorative varieties of natural stone in the Czech Republic. The stone is characterised by plausible appearance, excellent polishing ability and favourable physical properties. It has been used for numerous structures and monuments in the Czech Republic and abroad. Despite declared favourable properties, it is prone decay, specifically on the polished surface. This bachelor thesis discusses granite petrology, their weathering and usage for decorative purposes. In the second part, the thesis summarizes current knowledge on Požáry Granite. The study focuses on its position within the Central Bohemian Plutonic Complex, mineralogy, petrology, usage, and historical/current exploitation. This bachelor thesis is generally aimed as introduction to the planned master thesis which should focus on experimental study of Požáry Granite.
A Tool for Post-Mortem Debugging
Kapičák, Peter ; Peringer, Petr (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
The goal of this work is checking specific properties in trace which program should meet or which it shouldn't meet. Properties and their description are basis of this tool for post-mortem debbuging. Properties are transformed to deterministic finite automaton for checking in trace and their description is important for searching events in trace. Events are pass to automaton as input. Output of a tool is report if properties are meet or not. Solution provides check of properties regardless of log format and shows events that preceded violation of the properties.

Study of the influence of process parameters on welding properties of ferritic stainless steel in laser oscillation welding
Křepela, Petr ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
The aim of this work was to carry out an experiment to assess the influence of the individual welding parameters in the laser welding method with the beam wobbling on the made weld, respectively. welds. The material which was welded was ferritic stainless steel with the designation 1.4016, which, like all ferritic steels, is susceptible to coarse grains and the resulting brittleness which leads to degradation of the mechanical properties of the weld. The welds were compared to a sample welded without wobbling an between themselves. Unfortunately, however, the evaluation of the test samples did not bring significant differences from laser welding without wobbling, however some changes are evident, such as grain orientation, weld defects, or uniformity of mechanical properties over the weld length, where wobbling frequency is most important. Further research should focus on limiting the porosity at higher wobbling frequencies in the shape of a circle or ellipse.

Monitoring the influence of concrete composition on abrasion resistance
Černá, Hana ; Novosad, Petr (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the resistance of concrete to abrasion with regard to the raw materials used for their production. In the theoretical part of the thesis are described admixtures, different types of aggregate and aggregate composition which influence the resistance of concrete to abrasion. In the experimental part, 15 different C30 / 37, S4 concrete formulations were proposed. Different types of aggregates - fecal gravel (Žabčice), biotic granodiorite (Olbramovice) and amphibolite (Želešice) have always been used in the recipes. Fine ground limestone, micro-silica, high-temperature fly ash and finely ground slag were ingredients that were added to the proposed recipes. Consistency was determined by the method of cone seating and the density of fresh concrete. In the hardened state, concrete density, compressive strength, bending tensile strength, tensile strength, watertightness, concrete absorption, and abrasion resistance were determined using the Böhm method and wide wheel method. The test specimens were tested after 7, 28, and 90 days of maturation.
Study of effect of the introduced parameters to aerate of aerated concrete
Urbánek, Libor ; Voves, Jiří (referee) ; Hubáček, Adam (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on aerated concrete, their parameters of composition and properties. Further, the thesis focuses on the study of the effect of the introduced aeration on fresh concrete on its properties in both fresh and hardened state. Emphasis is placed on the assessment of the aeration rate in fresh concrete, as compared to the various parameters of hardened concrete, especially the content of hardened concrete and the durability of concrete. The study is complemented by a description of air pore distribution tests in fresh and hardened concrete, a description of individual aeration additives and a study of the influence of aeration additives on the durability of concrete.
Using customer preferences in property market
Strnad, Radek ; Kopecký, Michal (advisor) ; Peška, Ladislav (referee)
In recent years the market share of major real estate companies, at least the Czech ones, has not changed much. Statistical data don't reflect any significal upward trend in volumes of properties for rent or sale. In case the real estate company would like to access larger market share, they have to secure a competitive advantage over the others. One of the ways how to attract more potential customers might be speeding up the company website's property search process. In many cases the website visitors are facing hundreds or thousands of property offers before finding couple satisfactories. The aim of the thesis is to explore possibilities of applicating customer preferences in property trading. The focus is put on research of recommender system algorithms, their characteristics and limtations. The author is evaluating usage of each algorithm variant and its suitability for a real world deployment in a real estate area. Apart from the theoretical part of the work one can find a part, where real estate information system is extended with a framework for implementing recommendation system algorithms. The author is in possesion of production data of a medium sized real estate company. He uses the recommender system framework to build and evaluate example algorithm. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Jiri Trnka (1912 - 1969) ranks among the foremost representatives of Czech modern art in the 20th century and alongside the most remarkable protagonists of the visual art scene over a period ranging from the late 1930s through the end of the1960s. He stood out within that movement for his multiple talents, as a draughtsman, book illustrator, puppet designer, painter, animated film-maker, sculptor and stage designer. He achieved admirable success in these fields of activity. In the early 40s a new prospect opened up for him connected with work in theatre, as he took up the post of stage designer at the National Theatre in Prague, an assignment which enabled him to put to use his specific talent for stagecraft. He created 13 stage decorations together. Trnka was able to create unforgettable productions thanks the cooperation with Jiri Frejka or Karel Dostal. I documented and explained Trnka's work in the context of the Nation Theatre during the Second World War. I defined his style in the relation to his contemporaries in the end of work.
