Title: Teaching of sports gymnastics disciplins in connection with fear scruples Aims of thesis: Find out range of incorporate sports gymnastics in teaching on elementary and high schools in chosen prague's region. How influence fears scruples this teaching. Method: In research was used method of question by question form. Respondets were students of 1. and 2. follow-up masters study UK FTVS, for teachers on prague's elementary and high schools. Results: A single items from question form were statistically evaluated, completed by bar graphs and comments. Final summary of examined problematic shows lack of representation disciplins of sports gymnastics in teaching of physical education on elementary and high schools, consequently arise fears inhibitions. Title: Injury rate in the ski resorts in the Czech Republic Objectives: Objective of thesis is to obtain knowledges about injury rate in the ski resorts in the Czech republic Methods: I determined and processed information regarding all data about injury rate during winter seasons from 2003/2004 to 2012/2013 in the Czech Republic. Main source of all data was the database of Mountain Rescue Service in the Czech republic. Results: My results show summary of the total number of accidents in each winter seasons. Percentage of injury in alpine skiing, snowboarding and cross country skiing of all injuries. The most common types of injuries and injury localization in the ski resorts in the Czech Republic for the season 2003/2004 - 2012/2013. TITLE Compensation program for volleyball players OBJECTIVES The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate how much will volleyball players improve their sensomotor functions and symmetry of loading with both halves of the body after special program on balance desks. In comparison of other volleyball players, whose program was designed by their coaches. The other aim of this thesis was to find out a degree of a pain on a 0 to 10 pain scale and the feeling of the ankle instability before and after the six weeks intervention program. METHODS The diploma thesis is a comparative study of the two control groups. In each group was 10 players from volleyball team CZU Prague. The practical part is focused on a diagnosis of sensomotor index and also on a diagnosis of an symmetry index of loading on both halves of the body using diagnostical balance desk MFT S3 CHECK. Subsequently a compensation program was compiled, which contains a group fitness exercises on mechanical balance desks MFT-Trim Disk a MFT-Fit Disk. At the end of this practical part the efficiency of this program described above is evaluated in comparison of the fitness program suggested by coaches. RESULTS Both hypothesis were confirmed. Quality of life and its changes in the case of people with post-traumatic disabilities

Balchelor's thesis deals with quality of life and its changes in case of people with posttraumatic disability. The aim is to characterize posttraumatic psychical and physical growth of three selected respondents and to reveal factors which may affect it in positive or negative way, respectively. Thesis attempts to determine following objectives: (1) How respondents subjectively assess quality of their lives? (2) Whether traumatic event caused positive development of their personality? The research was carried out using mixed approach technique with three different methods: posttraumatic growth curve, semistructured interview and standardized questionnaire. The sample consisted of three respondents, who suffered a serious injury with subsequent permanent disability. The quality of life yielded to various changes during posttraumatic psychical and physical growth of individual respondents. These changes were predominantly associated with inability to satisfy and fulfil their needs and ideas about their lives. The results showed that traumatic event affected primarily mental aspect. Heading: Injuries during doing winter sports on the ski slopes in the Czech Republic Objectives: The main objective of the diploma theses was to determine the incidence of accidents in the Czech mountains during the winter seasons from 2000 - 2001 to 2009 - 2010. Methods: We focused on gathering data and information regarding the number of injuries on the ski slopes. The main source of information was the database of Mountain Rescue Service of the Czech Republic that provided us with sets of injuries that happened during skiing and snowboarding within the winter seasons 2000 - 2010. Results: The results of this diploma thesis were statistics of injuries that happened during doing the winter sports for the years 2000 - 2010 and their processing. TITLE: Life of clients after spinal cord injury AUTHOR: Anna Kudláková DEPARTMENT: Katedra pedagogiky SUPERVIZOR: PhDr. Jaroslava Hanušová Ph.D. The theme of final work is "Life of clients after spinal cord injury". The aim of my work was mapping individuals with this injury. Study and then sort and provide compact information of the issue. At the same time try role of handicapped client through fixed rules experiment. Thanks to experiment gain unbiased information from one day life of man on wheelchair. Later, trough quantitative analysis, this information confront with feelings of actually handicapped people. Initial point for quantitative analysis was a survey, which was made not only in organizations engage with this issue. Respondents were chosen randomly, their age range was 26-50 years, social or other status wasn't determining. Question form was based on hypotheses defined in advance, which were after decoding earned dates in most cases confirmed. Thanks to complete information and questionnaire probe this work provides valuable information of the issue and could be used for orientation and mapping of this area, not only in helping professions. Case study of physioterapy treatment of a patient with the fracture of the distal radius

Title: Case study of physioterapy treatment of a patient with the fracture of the distal radius Objectives: The goal of this thesis is to summerize theoretical and practical informaticion about fracture of distal radius, to peruse sources of this problems, proposing therapy and monitor its progress. Includes detailed case studies patient with a fracture of the distal radius. Methodics: The literature search and the case study of this issue was proceeded within the practical experience (from 9th January 2012 to 3rd February 2012) in Oblastní nemocnice Kladno (Regional hospital Kladno). The first part of the work is concerned with the theoretical knowledge of anatomy and functional kinesiology of antebrachium and hand. Then describes the fractures of the distal antebrachium, their treatment and physiotherapeutic methods and examinations. The second part contains the case report which refers to the patient with the fracture of the distal radius, the treatment, the therapy and the pursuance of the curative effect. Results: During the therapy, there was reduce swelling, pain reduction, effects of reflex changes, restore the joint play, increasing joint range, stretching shortened muscules and increase musce strenght in the right upper extremity.
