Experimentální vyšetřování proudění v okolí vibrujícího křidélka pomocí metody TR-PIV
Uruba, Václav ; Knob, Martin ; Vlček, Václav ; Luxa, Martin ; Lukáč, Jan ; Dvořák, Rudolf
Results from experiments on flow around vibrating wing in high-speed subsonic flow are presented. The Time Resolved PIV technique was used to follow dynamical behavior of both the elastically mounted wing and the flow-field behind the wing. The applicability of the chosen method for a given case was proved positively.
Aplikace ortogonálních dekompozičních metod
Uruba, Václav ; Knob, Martin
Orthogonal decomposition techniques are introduced with respect to application to time-resolved PIV data. Several modifications of the techniques are taken into account, particularly the Proper Orthogonal Decomposition in continuous and snapshot variants for space analysis only as well as the Bi-Orthogonal Decomposition to be used for joint space-time analysis.
Time-resolved PIV and LDA measurements of pulsating flow
Matěcha, J. ; Novotný, J. ; Adamec, J. ; Kysela, Bohuš ; Chára, Zdeněk
The paper deals with an experimental investigation of pulsating flow in a circular tube. Two experimental techniques were used – Time resolved PIV and LDA and the results were compared.
Nestacionární vírová struktura vyvolaná parpskem tekutiny vstřikovaným do korýtkové kavity
Knob, Martin ; Uruba, Václav
In the contribution, the results of vortex identification in an unsteady TR PIV data of a cavity subject to a jet impingement are presented. The main phenomena, such as vortex loop are shown and their relation with local pressure minima is described.
Krátký přehled metod identifikace vírů s ohledem na data naměřená 2D PIV
Knob, Martin ; Uruba, Václav
A brief survey of four basic vortex identification methods, namely the Q- criterion, the l2 method, the G2 method and the Complex eigenvalue method, is given in this contribution. All the methods are investigated on an artificial flow- field as well as an unsteady signal, obtained by the TR PIV system. The results of all the methods are evaluated and compared.
PIV study of the controlled pulsatile jets
Pírková, L. ; Kopecký, V. ; Trávníček, Zdeněk
The aim of this paper is to describe an experimental study of controlled pulsating jets using PIV method. The present synchronization of PIV data with the pulsating process enables to measure vector maps of the flow field with the time steps under 1ms. Principle of PIV method and the present experimental set up are described. Main part of the paper discusses vector and scalar maps of the flow.
Experimental study of of time development of pulsatile jets using classical PIV method
Kopecký, V. ; Kotek, M. ; Pírková, L. ; Jašíková, D. ; Trávníček, Zdeněk ; Hlína, Jan
This paper describes a quantitative visualization of pulsatile flow fields using classical PIV method. A synchronization of PIV measurement with the control signal allows to acquire flow fields maps with time steps less than 1ms. The results are presented for jets from weaving nozzles, for controlled jets, and for plasma arks for electrostatic spinning.
Experimentální studium bifurkačních proudů metodou PIV
Pírková, L. ; Kopecký, V. ; Trávníček, Zdeněk
This paper describes an experimental study of bifurcating jets using PIV method. Principle of PIV method is shortly explained, and the present experimental set up (mainly settings of the laser and measurement system) is described. Second part of this paper discusses results, which are shown as vector and scalar maps of the flow.
