Analysis of market with e-learning materials

This diplom thesis is focused on e-learning programs in distance studies. In theoretical part explained the theoretical outputs and basic terms and analysis which are used in practical part of the thesis. In practical part is overview of the e-learning material providers. There are also described the main features of the market with e-learning materials. In conclusion is an evaluation, if the new company has chance to get in to the business with success and on which products it should be focused on.
CUA analýza projektu Studium k výkonu specializovaných činností

This work deals with the CUA analysis of non-investment project Inovace ICTK, focused on education of ICT coordinators in schools and funded by the European Social Fund and implemented in years 2011-2014. The work is divided into two parts, a literature search part and custom work part, which are complemented by an overview of basic methodological basis of cost utility analysis and options of application CUA in the analysis of public projects. In literature search part is characterized the importance and functions of regional policy and its instruments, with an emphasis on introducing strategic and program documents of regional policy of the Czech Republic and the Cohesion Policy of the European Union. Literature search part is completed by forming the content and comparative analysis of documents National Strategic Reference Framework 2007-2013 and the Partnership Agreement 2014-2020. Custom work part starts with description of basic information regarding the project Inovace ICTK and summary of the final status of its implementation. For CUA analysis are used techniques of direct and indirect interviewing to obtain the views and attitudes of two key groups of the project - its participants and implementers (project team) from which is then assessed the usefulness of educational activities and cost-effectiveness of the project. In conclusion, recommendations are addressed to the project team in order to maximize satisfaction of two key groups in the implementation of similarly focused project in the future.
Digital Diplomacy of the United States in the Muslim World

The master thesis deals with a new phenomenon in the world of diplomacy: digital diplomacy. The main objective of this work is to determine whether the digital diplomacy is able to improve the relationship between the American and Islamic civilization. To fulfill this goal, the case study of Digital Outreach Team, of a team of specialists who search the internet and communicate with Muslims with negative attitude towards US, was used. The work is divided into three chapters. The first chapter provides a theoretical introduction to digital diplomacy. The second chapter is devoted to the use of digital diplomacy in the Unied States: a world leader in information and communication technologies, with an emphasis on digitization of activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In the third chapter we find the analysis of the digital activities of the team and assessment of the digital diplomacy on Arab soil.
Analysis and optimization of business processes educational organization

The purpose of the thesis is the analysis of current business processes of the company and subsequent proposal of new modifications and changes concerning the processes so that the company can use them within the frame of internal changes (change in the information system component) and within the frame of its performance improvement. The paper has two main parts. The first one is theoretical, describing business processes in general. Division (meaning) of processes, methods for their analysis and optimization are futher outlined. The second part is practical. It is focused on the company MIPECOM, s.r.o. on its key processes and their optimization. The theoretical part defines meaning and division of the processes and the methods in a general manner through various perspectives. The methods that are presented along with their advantages and limits are those by which the processes are analyzed. The methods suitable for key processes optimization are equally described. The target of practical part is of optimizing certain processes. To meet the objective should be to describe the various processes of the company and also analyze its surroundings for a better orientation and a facilitation of comprehension of the given situation. Finally, is necessary to build a model a proposal for a new solution, together with a description of the expected benefits or problems.
Analysis and possibilities of using ICT in teaching at primary and secondary schools

The aim of the work is to analyze and describe the current status of the use of ICT in teaching and propose of appropriate use of ICT in education by the questionnaire survey of primary school pupils, secondary school students, teachers, and ICT coordinators in primary and secondary schools. The first four chapters are devoted to theory and explanation of basic concepts related to the topic of ICT in teaching. The first chapter defines the concept of ICT, its history, and it presents concrete examples of ICT. The second chapter focuses on ICT in teaching, learning theory, development of ICT application in education before and now, and the benefits of ICT in education. The third chapter describes roles in education in terms of ICT usage, such as the role of teachers and ICT coordinators, and attitudes of experts. The last theoretical part deals with international comparisons. The following chapters provide a description and analysis of the survey. The final chapter discusses the proposals and recommendations how to use ICT in teaching.
E-Government in the Czech Republic at the beginning of 21st century

The bachelor thesis "e-Government in the Czech Republic at the beginning of 21st century" considers the current status of implementation of e-Government in the Czech society. e-Government is seen as a dynamic process, which uses modern information and communication technologies to enhance economic growth and competitiveness of the economy, maintaining sustainable economic development while strengthening democracy and increase the participation of citizens in public affairs. Bachelor thesis sees e-Government as a means of positive changes in society, seeing it in the global context, and also as a prerequisite for a modern and efficient state contented citizen.
The importance of information technologies for destination marketing

The master's thesis deals with the importance of information and communication technologies (ICT) for destination marketing. At first define the current status of ICT in tourism and subsequently constitutes e-marketing tools and are initially listed tools which can destination motivate potential visitors, and then presents the information sources during their stay. This master's thesis aims to analyze e-marketing tourist area Kladske pomezi and using questionnaire to find out importance ICT for tourists. Primarily, what technologies are used while traveling and for what purposes. Afterwards, to find out what information to tourism participants in the terrain most lacking, how they evaluate a website Kladske pomezi and what information is most lacking at the websites of destinations. Subsequently derive conclusions and determine recommendations for destination management and marketing Kladske pomezi.
Analyses of IS/ICT market

This thesis deals with the issue of market IS / ICT, particularly focusing on the analysis of the current situation. The first part is devoted to a slight look into the past and then the market IS / ICT has been analyzed in terms of factors and market actors. The following part of the paper focuses on the analysis of the structure of firms implementing its activities in the market IS / ICT. The last part of the paper explores the potential market developments and tries to predict the development and the key trends for the future are seen dynamic network services, teamwork, mobile enterprise, security, and last but not least, green computing for sustainable development.
Information and Communication Technologies in the Czech Republic

Development of information and communication technologies (ICT) has recently increasing importance. ICT has therefore become one of the effective tools in process of optimization and increase of competitiveness on the market. As a result of this trend, there are already some studies, having ambitions to explicitly formulate their importance. The application of ICT in the Czech Republic is similar, but there are not many studies with such ambitions. This thesis analyzes (i) the relations between, the use of ICT, total factor productivity and growth of gross added value in the Czech Republic in 1997-2007 based on growth accounting and (ii) based on econometric analysis of panel data for the Czech Republic, also estimates the importance of selected determinants influencing adoption of ICT. The output of the thesis consists of (i) determining the contribution of each input and discussion of possible synergies of ICT capital deepening and total factor productivity and (ii) specification of variables that are, based on the formulated model, shown to be statistically significant and they may affect the adoption of ICT.
