By using situational analysis reveals connections and principles of the functioning of financial intermediation and focuses on the role of financial market regulation and commission fees. Thesis is analyzing the effects of changes in commission system and impact to different distribution models.

The influence of estrogens on mouse sperm capacitation and acrosome reaction in vitro.

- 7 - Abstract There are an increasing amount of compounds in the environment that can have a negative effect on reproductive parameters in both male and female organism. There has been a worldwide decline of sperm quality during past decades and this fact lead to an increase of unnatural ways of conception through assisted reproduction techniques in the specialised centres. Natural estrogens are one of these compounds and they get into waste water after being excluded from the body by the urine. They get back into the human body from drinking water or from the food, and they can interfere with function of endogenous hormones in very low concentrations. For these reasons it is up to date to deal with the influence of these compounds on mammalian sperm. For many years, estrogens have been considered typically female sex hormones. It is now certain that they are also very important in the regulation of male reproduction. Endogenous estrogens in mammalian males are an important part of the endocrine system. Estrogens play an important role in the development of germ cells, spermatogenesis and processes leading to successful egg fertilization such as a capacitation or acrosomal reaction. Assessment of expression markers of HLA class II genes.

BACKGROUND: HLA molecules play a central role in the immune response. HLA class II are involved in the selection of the T-cell repertoire in the thymus, and in presentation of antigenic peptides to antigen reactive CD4-positive T cells. The HLA class II act as restriction determinants in the presentation of antigens to T lymphocytes and their expression on the cell surface is necessary for triggering the immune responses. Regulated transcription of HLA class II genes is a complex system involving cis-acting sequence elements and trans-acting protein factors. It has been reported that allelic polymorphism exists in the regulatory regions of HLA class II DQA1, DQB1 and DRB1 genes. Most of the polymorphisms appear to be conserved within a haplotype. The hierarchy of sequence homology which exists among the structural genes is not paralleled among their promoter sequences. It is of interest that the most striking discrepancy was found for the DR4 linked alleles, DQB1*0301 and DQB1*0302, which were described as frequent risk factors for a variety of autoimmune diseases. The interaction of Prp22 and Prp45 proteins in budding yeast spliceosome

Protein Prp22 is a DEAH box RNA helicase, which plays two distinct roles in pre-mRNA splicing: it participates in second transesterification step (ATP independent function) and it releases mature mRNA from the spliceosome (ATP dependent function). Prp45p, yeast ortholog of the human transcription co-regulator SNW/SKIP, is an essential splicing factor, it is included in spliceosome throughout the splicing reaction. Mutant prp45(1-169) genetically interacts with some alleles of NTC complex and second step splicing factors, one of them is also gene PRP22. Here we present, that mutants prp22(-158T) and prp22(-327A), which are synthetically lethal with prp45(1-169), express lower amount of Prp22p due to the mutation in upstream regulation region. Mutants prp22(-158T), prp22(300PPI) and prp22(-327A) affect splicing of pre-mRNA with mutation in 5'ss with respect to sequence of the second exon. N-terminal mutants prp22(∆301) and prp22(∆350) are synthetically lethal with prp45(1-169). Synthetic lethality is possibly caused by lower efficiency of Prp22 recruitment to the spliceosomes, which is no more viable for cells.

Conversion of the financial statements according to the Czech accounting principles to the US GAAP and their influence on investors

This thesis examines the influence of financial reporting on present and potencial investors and creditors, in the context of the comparison of requirements and accounting policies applied by national regulations and U. S. GAAP. The comparison is done in the framework of the conversion of financial statements which is essensial for Czech companies simultaneously following different accounting principles. The theoretical part is devoted to examining the influence and role of financial statements prepared in accordance with accounting regulations and U. S. accounting standards, with a more detailed analysis of selected accounting areas of. Attention is also paid to the conversion process, possibilities of its implementation as well as limitations and problems associated with it. Based on the teoretical part the analysis of the conversion process is done on the example of a particular company.

The influence of the presidential administration on the immigration regulation in France

The issue of immigration and the obstacles connected with it become more and more discussed within the government as well as during the presidential campaigns. France is a country with a profound immigration history and sets a model role in the way how the immigration policy can be influenced by left-wing and right-wing governments. The influence of the presidential administration on the immigration regulation in France is the topic of the proposed thesis. The principal objective is to assess the effectivness of the regulation of the immigration policy. It aims to answer the question whether the presidential administration has influence on the immigration regulation.

Bank as a Commercial Company The main aim of the diploma work "Bank as a Commercial Company"is to show a bank from a view of the company law. Its objective is not to describe all bank institutes, but to show some differences between legal regulation of joint-stock companies and banks in Czech legal regulation and to describe these differences. This aim is fulfilled by comparing the Act No. 21/1992 Coll. as subsequently amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Bank Act") with regulation of joint-stock companies established by Act. No. 513/1991 Coll., Commercial Code as subsequently amended and with some other Acts related to companies. Banks are generally traders with money. Bank Act characterizes bank as a legal entity residing in the Czech Republic, established as joint-stock company that accepts deposits and provide loans and which have a licence for exercising abovementioned business. The special role and other special characteristics of bank business create the necessity of a special legal regulation. Main aims of such legal regulation are to protect deposits of depositors, to ensure stability of banks and whole the financial sector. Multinational companies and their operations in developing countries

This thesis deals with multinational companies and their operations in developing countries. The first part describes characteristics and general functioning of multinational companies, their origin, development and role in the global economy. The second section introduces economic and social structure of developing countries and analyzes the positive and negative impacts of multinational companies on economic, social and political development, culture and environment of host developing counties. The subject of the third chapter is description of two particular examples of these companies in developing countries -- Royal Dutch/Shell in Nigeria and Nike in Southeast Asia. The fourth chapter presents the possibilities of regulation of multinational corporations.

Expression and function of molecules of innate system in embryonal phagocytes

Phagocytes of an early embryo represent a mixture of myeloid lineages that differ from adult macrophages phenotypically, biochemically and by their origin. Recent studies suggested that there are at least three waves of macrophages populating the early embryo: a maternally-derived one and two waves of extraembryonic, YS-derived origin. In addition, the occurence of early embryonic phagocytes of undetermined origin in developing anterior head mesoderm in evolutionary distinct species is well documented. This origin-related heterogeneity among early embryonic phagocyte subpopulations coupled with the lack of specific markers makes it difficult to distinguish them phenotypically and study their potentially distinct physiological roles in early development. The aim of this study is to identify and characterize a set of novel markers suitable for identification of embryonic phagocytes. Here, using qRT-PCR approach, we have established the kinetics of expression of Toll like receptors (TLRs) and their TIR-domain containing adaptors during early embryogenesis (E7.5-E12.5) and demonstrate that their major cellular source are indeed phagocytes.
