Completion of the BUT - Faculty of Fine Arts

The object consists of 3 volumes: two 6-storey academic buildings, interconnected with public space. Simple geometry of complex is formed by the existing urban development. Repeating street directions and continuing visual contact with the housing of the Law Faculty, the building in terms of shape represents letter V and forms enclosed courtyards. In the lower part of the building of the Faculty of Fine Arts there are workrooms, library and repository that are loaded from the north facade. The first three floors are connected by a corridor with a recreational area of public space created for a comfortable communicating and solitary classes. On the other floors there are workshops, studios and studio offices of ceramics, sculpture, metal, photography, printing and 3D-graphics, cabinets of deanery and classrooms. On the top floor, that is 6 m height, there are art studios, additionaly lightened by lanterns on the roof. The housing is designed in that way that it has the open airy atrium, which, along with half-transparent facades, provides natural light in most interiors. Facade structure is highlighted with the shell of the vertical and horizontal aluminum fins and shelves, which gives to a compex an interesting and constantly changing pattern. Unified composition is also highlighted with shades of warm and cold colors of the spectrum. Four underground floors are used for car parking, and the ground flloor of them is given for the operation of the university. In the future, the project also envisages planting of greenery of building facades and of the surrounding area.
Modern Art Gallery Brno

The new building of the Modern Art Gallery in Brno is situated at South side of the hill called Kraví hora, near the city center. The building site is relatively spacious and its location follows on park. Also the whole urban solution concept of the site follows the park idea. The gallery park should serve as an outdoor exhibition space as well as a communication point between two sides of the hill – Náměstí míru and Veveří street. So the main initial points of the design are freedom of movement, passage of nature and to be surrounded by the art. The Modern Art Gallery project consists of the main building and other small buildings used as studios. In the main building of the gallery there is an exhibition place, educational center, library and other services for the visitors. The small studios situated in the garden should be rent to the starting artists. They would have there their hinterland for work and exhibitions, so the public can have personal contact with them. The shape of the building is based on a slightly deformed cuboid. The middle part is taken away, so there is an opening in it. This opening forms a vista through the building and a covered public space as well. The building works with two main views of the city. The first one is through the middle opening in the building and the mass of the building frames it. The second one is from the roof terrace of the building on the Brno dominate – Špilberk castle.
Family house with atelier

The project deals with new building of detached house with atelier in Bohdalec. This work aids to develop design documents for building construction. The detached house is designed for 4 member family for year round occupancy. The buiding has got 2 floors. The building is based on brick system Heluz and has got gable and flat roof. The building is situated in slightly sloping terrain.
A Family House with a Sculpture Studio

My bachelor's thesis is focused on the design of family house with sculpture workshop and atelier. The house will be placed on plat in Dědice u Vyškova. It is a partial basement three-storey detached house for three to four family members. Object is roofed by flat roof.
Detached House with Atelier in Hořice

The bachelor’s thesis deals with the projection of a detached house with an atelier in Hořice. Hořice is a small village located 7kms from town Blansko, which has almost 20,000 inhabitants. This building is situated in author’s village, and therefore the local conditions in terms of construction are very well known. The building was placed in a real plot opposite the place where the author lives. The house has two floors, one floor is a partial cellared. The cellared part is accessible from the street (east side). In the southern part of the basement is designed atelier - a commercial space accessible to the general public. In the northern part there is a garage for two cars and the side entrance to the detached house. The ground floor is a private space for housing. The upper floor is 5+KN. The house has no problem to accommodate a family about 5 members, and also it’s able to accommodate some visitors or grandparents. The rooms are comfortably designed and offer a lot of use for a modern family life. The main entrance to the detached house is through the outdoor staircase. The building is made out of brick, perimeter walls of the lower floors are made of concrete blocks and the top perimeter walls of burnt bricks from the clay. Both floors connect the reinforced concrete staircase. The house is covered by a flat roof. Exterior doors and windows are from aluminum. The building is clad by travertine blocks. The building is connected to the necessary engineering networks. The project documentation is developed in accordance to the decree of the building documentation.
The family house with engeneer´s office, Roztoky u Prahy

The subject of this Bachelor Thesis is newly built family house including engineers office located in Roztoky. The building is divided into two parts. First part is two-story residential section. This section is isolated from public road by the second part. Second part is single-storey openspace oficce with separated headquarters and meeting room. The building is designed as a structure to be built from cut brick units with ceramic ceiling structures. The buildings roof is flat construction and it is designed to serve also as terrace on single-storey part of the house. Building land is slightly sloping down from the public road. All designs are in accordance to the valid ČSN code.

The theme of bachelor´s thesis is family house in Miletin. The family house is a single unit building intended for the permanent family living. It is a family house with two floors and basement. Family house is set in a slinty sloping terrain. The building was constructed using traditional materials and technologies. The building is designed of system POROTHERM and ceiling construction of system POROTHERM MIAKO. The cladding is insulated by contact insulation. Facades are broken color in combination with a large glass window openings. The windows are plastic with insulating glass. The roofs are flat.
