This thesis deals with cultural monuments and appreciation their importance in regional development. This work monitors microregion Pelhřimov. The main goal of this thesis is analysis of position cultural monuments and finding their importance in microregion Pelhřimov. This goal reaches with questonnaire survey and quided interview. Additional goal attendances by selected subjects. Partial objective is analysis of secondary data in strategic planes and financial mechanisms that is as instrument to achievment the main goal.
Socioeconomic analysis of Litomyšl with emphasis on the cultural sights

The thesis is focused on Socioeconomic analysis of Litomyšl with emphasis on the role of cultural sights in the further development of this city. The aim of this work is the preparation socioeconomic profile of Litomyšl and determines the role of cultural sights. The analysis focuses on the analysis and evaluation of key factors influencing the development of the city (population development, population structure, economy of the city, the level of infrastructure, environment, tourism, cultural sights) Litomyšl and find possible links between cultural sights and further development of this city. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first one includes the socioeconomic analysis and the second part is aimed at exploring cultural sights of Litomyšl with an emphasis on sights registered on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage. The analysis is based on data obtained in the literature and internet sources. They also used information taken from the subjects that manage these cultural sights.
The use of the Beroun region's cultural capital in tourism

The aim of this thesis is to define the relationship between cultural capital of the Beroun region and tourism through the description and subsequent introduction of conception within the case study of landmark infrastructure in a particular location. The theoretical part is aimed at defining the basic terms of the field, the practical one concentrates on a description of the present state of cultural capital in the region with strong ties to tourism and presents a concept to improve the situation in the village Nižbor.
Management of Cultural Values in Spatial Planning on case study of Administrative Area of Municipality Teplá

This thesis deals with the management of cultural values in spatial planning in the Czech Republic. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the first part attention is paid to issues of cultural values in the area and the concept of spatial planning in the Czech Republic, which is seen as areas of cooperation -- land-use planning and regional planning policy. The practical part is trying to apply the knowledge of a theoretical part on the example of the administrative area of municipality Teplá, which is located in Karlovy Vary Region.
The importance of state castle Křivoklát presence for tourism on microregional level

The main aim of this diploma thesis was to assess an influence of position of the castle Křivoklát for tourism in a region. At first the work assessed the castle in the system of the other sights in the region. Then there were discovered the movements of visitors with their main destinations in the region. Last the work analyzed the cooperation of the castle with the institutions in tourism.
Cultural Monuments and their Role of Regional Development

The cultural relics represent an integral part of the tourism that has become a global phenomenon in the recent years. The influence of the the cultural monuments over the region can be examined through the tourism. Every year a large amount of money is spent on the restoration and care of the cultural monuments therefore a part of the thesis deals with the development of the funds provided by the Vysočina Region during 2004 - 2009. The thesis is particularly focused on the current state analysis of the cultural relics situated in the Jihlavsko microregion. The analysis is implemented from the perspective of the town Jihlava citizens and the mayors of selected member municipalities situated in the Jihlavsko microregion. The town Jihlava takes pride in a large number of religious monuments therefore especially a cognitive tourism prevails here. The questionary survey examined the satisfaction of the town Jihlava citizens with the cultural monuments state and the services related to the tourism. The graphic and verbal comments were used by the evaluation of the survey. The thesis also includes the analysis of the strategic document called "The Microregion Jihlavsko Strategy of Development".
Choosen cultural atractivities of Indian tourism

This diploma thesis deals with Indian monuments and tourism. First, the basic information about India is given, followed by the analysis of Indian tourism. All the facts resulting from this part of the thesis are summarised in the SWOT analysis. The main part of the thesis deals with the tours offered by Czech travel agencies. It also includes the list of Indian monuments which were choosen according to the own experience and people's recommandation. The final part of the thesis evaluates the results of the questionnaire research. The aim is to determine the potential of Indian tourism, to give the overview of the current tourism of India and its monuments and to find out if the Czech public opinion about India confirmes the assumed thesis.
Choices of economization and undtraditional utilization of cultural heritage in relation to socialeconomical development of town. (Case study of The Monastery of st. Voršila in Kutná Hora)

The aim of the following bachelor thesis is to point out possibilities of untraditional use of cultural, especially church, immovable relicts and to refer to benefits implicit in this use for socioeconomical development of municipality, where the object take place. This bachelor thesis is concerned with traditional as well as untraditional possibilities how to use church objects after 1989 both generally and concretely at the example of one of the object included in UNESCO -- The Monastery of St. Voršila in Kutná Hora. The thesis describes traditional importance of this church for turist trade in Kutná Hora and neighbourhood, it observes utilization of this historical landmark qua place of catholic grammar school and its profitability for Kutná Hora. It allows for historically older function of the monastery as one of the site of nuns of St. Voršila's community and also its spiritual function. Next, the thesis is concerned with untraditional economical function of the monastery, especially its commercial use for private entrepreneurial subjects. Last but not least, the thesis proposes to apply choices of use of this monastery on the other immovable cultural relicts in Kutná Hora.
Economic projects in the field of utilization of the historical monuments in the Czech Republic

A thesis called 'Economic projects in the field of utilization of the historical monuments in the Czech Republic.' covers the issue of problematic upkeeping of the historical sights and some possibilities of their usage in the field of economic projects. Chapter one refers to the legal regulation concerning the maintenance of historical monuments. Chapter two is devoted to the history of sights upkeep in Europe and in the Czech Republic. Chapter three introduces the term cultural monument and the conception of the cultural monument as economic good to the reader. Another part of this chapter is devoted to the specificity of the economic projects in the field of utilizing the sights. Chapter four refers to the financial upkeep of the historical monuments, especially to the possibilities of obtaining the financial resources from the public funds. It also covers some other alternative ways of financing. Two following chapters deal with the issue of using marketing and management in already realized economic projects. Second part of the thesis is devoted to implemented individual projects. The aim of this thesis is to map the main troubled areas in realizing the projects in the field of utilization of the historical monuments in the Czech Republic.
Zámek Veselí nad Moravou

Diplomová práce se zabývá historií, současností a budoucím potenciálem zámku Veselí nad Moravou v Jihomoravském kraji. V úvodní kapitole se věnuji obecným vědomostem o památkové péči a vývoji památkové péče na jižní Moravě. V dalších částech práce popisuji zámek od jeho vzniku až do současnosti. Uvádím zde také projekty rekonstrukce zámku na čtyřhvězdičkový hotel, které se budou v budoucnosti realizovat. Zámek jako čtyřhvězdičkový hotel může vytvořit potenciál pro cestovní ruch a zvýšit návštěvnost Jihomoravského kraje. Rekonstrukce zámku je ovšem nákladnou investicí, proto v poslední části shrnuji možné zdroje financování, které by vlastník zámku mohl využít.
