3D laser scanner for demonstrational purpose
Záveský, Filip ; Zatočilová, Aneta (referee) ; Koutecký, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis contains construction of demonstration 3-D scanner and scanning programme, based on triangulation method. It involves basic principes of scanning, description of triangulation and basic theory of camera calibration. Thesis solves conception and final construction, also MatLab programme is described. Assembly drawing and operating instructions are included in attachement.
Design of Portable 3D Scanner
Štigler, Jaroslav ; Rubínová, Dana (referee) ; Sovják, Richard (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor‘s thesis is design of handheld 3D scanner. This scanner belongs in the higher price category. This thesis deals with problems like long working time, watching monitor during scanning, versatility and safety measures from mechanical damage. Ergonomic solution is also very important. This design is based on a simple and functional shaping. Shaping and color solution corresponds with its use in industry. This scanner also can be used in other fields (for example: medical sector, design, archeology, etc.).
The use of optical methods in the diagnosis of electrical machines
Tobolák, Petr ; Kuchyňková, Hana (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
This term describes questions of scanning rotors of asynchronous motors using 3D scanner. At the beginning it deals with a theory of asynchronous motors, defects of these machines and last but not least also questions of 3D scanning. Directly it focuses on a practical processing of measured rotors and their necessary modifications using of a program GEOMAGIC. It includes a diagnostic of deviations of scanning components of rotors with a model created on a program AUTODESK INVENTOR and posiible reasons of their creation.
Data Acquisition from HTML Sites
Komenda, Tomáš ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Straka, Martin (advisor)
This work describes scope of creating application for extraction and following data from HTML sites. This work engages in lexical analyze and parsing HTML. This work describes filtration of data from HTML sites. This work describes saving of data in database and XML documents, creating  of dynamic HTMP pages, timer cron, GNU utility wget, sending of SMS, sending email and extraction of date from internet. Final chapters describe two web applications. These applications follow data from HTML sites and inform users about changes.
Network Protection Using NetFlow Data
Czudek, Marek ; Tobola, Jiří (referee) ; Žádník, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the possibility of greater security of network based on NetFlow protocol. Specifically, the detecting network scans based on predefined rules to found this anomaly in the NetFlow data. Next part is the possibility of retrospective data analysis, thereby achieving more  accurate detection of attacks on the network. In this work designed application uses predetermined rules to detect the scans and then looks the flows towards the ports witch are protected by the application and than compares with detected scans. In this way, more accurate detection of attacks is achieved.
Braille Reader
Fabík, Jiří ; Svoboda, Pavel (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with image processing, specifically scanned Braille documents. It is about recognition of Braille cells, followed by transferring to plain text. Braille dots are recognized on the basis of bright and dark parts, which are created during scanning. After connection to the characters, they are converted to plain text by means of the character set. It also locates positions of possible errors to make it easier to correct the final text.
Simple Character Recognition
Duba, Nikolas ; Svoboda, Pavel (referee) ; Polok, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis is focused on optical character recognition and its processing. The goal of this application is to make it possible easily track daily expenses. It can be used by an individual or by a company as a monitoring tool. The main principle is to make this tool most as user friendly as it can be. The application gets its input from hardware, such as a scanner or camera, and analyzes the content of the cash voucher for further processing. To analyze the voucher, the application employs different optical character recognition methods. The result is subsequently parsed. Detailed explanations of used methods are inside the document. The application output is a filled database with cash voucher details. Another part of the work is an information system with the main purpose of displaying the collected data.
Detection and Isolation of Attackers Using Neflow Data
Grégr, Matěj ; Žádník, Martin (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with using NetFlow records for detection network scanning. Anonymized NetFlow records from backbone VUT network are used as the source. Based on statistics created from these records, several Bash and Python scripts are implemented. With these scripts it is possible to detect network scanning even in large academics networks.
Forensic Optical Fingerprint Comparator
Dvořák, Marek ; Klubal, Ondřej (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
My Bachelor Thesis deals with the design and creation of an application that replaces the function of forensic optical comparator. It also describes features of fingerprints and their prominent points, which are used for recognition of individuals. Work with fingerprints is very sensitive as for the quality of images. For this reason a Gabor filter has been implemented and described. Furthermore, the thesis describes basic functions used for work with images.
Coordinate measuring machines
Palásek, Vítězslav ; Zachoval, Luboš (referee) ; Zachoval, Luboš (referee) ; Pernikář, Jiří (advisor)
This graduation work is about co-ordinal measuring machines (CMM) with optical reader system and optical CMM. In accordance with submission and in terms of survival well known contactless systems the direction is to make methodology objective classification of rating with granting summary of these systems. The first part contains optical principles for visual scanner in CMM and optical CMM. Ist is described there principle of contactless obtaining steric digital version of measured object with using laser and optical facilities. The second part contains brief makes survey of these contactless systems and their component which are used for co-ordinal measuring. The survey is devided into optical readers, which are put on CMM brake or on mobile measuring brake and on optical CMM, which localize position measuring/sensing head in the space or they read measured object from specific distance – fotogrammetric. Characteristic of offered systems and chart with technical data are mentioned with each maker. The third and fourth part is about submission methodology for objective choice suitable sort of reader, optical CMM in target of characteristic reader system quality. And from this methodology is given the choice of suitable exponent stationary measuring machine with contact and contactless way of reading and their comparison.
