Development of information technology and the development of web applications brings new opportunities for disseminating or obtaining the necessary information on the market. It is important that the data itself on the market and various financial instruments are appropriately transformed into information, i.e. graphs, tables, simulation output, so that clear. Technology NET.Framework brings a number of tools which can be used for the development and implementation of web applications just about financial investment.
Fuzzy investment decision support for brownfield redevelopment

Tato disertační práce se zaměřuje na problematiku investování a podporu rozhodování pomocí moderních metod. Zejména pokud jde o analýzu, hodnocení a výběr tzv. brownfieldů pro jejich redevelopment (revitalizaci). Cílem této práce je navrhnout univerzální metodu, která usnadní rozhodovací proces. Proces rozhodování je v praxi komplikován též velkým počet relevantních parametrů ovlivňujících konečné rozhodnutí. Navržená metoda je založena na využití fuzzy logiky, modelování, statistické analýzy, shlukové analýzy, teorie grafů a na sofistikovaných metodách sběru a zpracování informací. Nová metoda umožňuje zefektivnit proces analýzy a porovnávání alternativních investic a přesněji zpracovat velký objem informací. Ve výsledku tak bude zmenšen počet prvků množiny nejvhodnějších alternativních investic na základě hierarchie parametrů stanovených investorem.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is analysis of selected commodity -- cocoa beans, evaluation of the possibilities of investing in the commodity with focus on the most famous financial derivatives -- futures. The first chapter, so called theoretical part is focused on matters of commodity market -- stock market and its participants, analysis of the market and investment opportunities on the commodities market, especially with futures. The second chapter focuses on the cocoa beans market analysis, the most important participants and with the help of fundamental analysis the most important factors influencing supply and demand for the cocoa beans, their impact on the price development. The conclusion summarizes the basic knowledge and evaluates investment opportunities primarily for the smaller investor.
Valuation and investing in coins

This thesis is dedicated to the valuation and investing in coins. The main aim is an explanation and determination of main factors influencing prices of coins. The first part deals with a comprehensive presentation of numismatics as an object of collecting, investing and explain its relationship with modern banking. The second section defines the four main factors influencing the value of coins. It defines their importance, the specific effect on the price and attempts to quantify their exact values. This chapter also mentions three authorized methods of valuation according to a Czech law. The third part is an analysis of three favourite gold investment coins, based on market values for the past five years. The result of the last chapter is the subsequent comparison and evaluation of measured values on which it is made a practical valuation.
Investing in Russian market using ETF

This thesis deals with the exchange traded funds. The goal is to explore the investment attractiveness of the ETF versus open-end and closed-end mutual funds and identify positive and negative aspects of these investment instruments. This work describes the characteristics of the ETF, the advantages and disadvantages for small and large institutional investors, different investment strategies for trading ETFs. In the analytical part of the thesis is carried out the research of the effectiveness and efficiency of investment in the Russian market today using selected mutual funds and ETFs.
Investing posibilities of citizen in the Czech Republic

This thesis discusses the options households have when it comes to investing in capital markets in the Czech Republic. The issue of investing and capital market options is analyzed. Following this analysis comes the description of financial instruments, their characteristics, and the usability of these instruments by small investors. On the basis of the theory presented, a study was conducted to examine the usage of individual financial products. The collected data was processed using modern software tools, which helped in drawing several conclusions, results, and recommendations for investors and financial instrument providers alike.
