Education of the diabetics in the origin of possible complications related to diabetes mellitus

This disertation is concerned to the education of the diabetics about the origin of possible complications that appear in relation with diabetes mellitus. Theoretic passage is oriented to the education which is a necessary component of treatment, to its importance, to goals, phases, form, means of the education, organisation and contents. This passage also approximates the issues of diabetes mellitus complications, such as classification, causation, pathogenesis, clinical picture and therapy of particular complications. The core of this work has been created from a quantitative survey about the knowledge of diabetes mellitus complications, and was made from the diabetics and the common nurses at Regional Náchod Hospital in Broumov. The resultant knowledge should be similar due to educational activities of the nurses. The outcome of this work is a suggestion of the educational plan for diabetics which is oriented to prevention from emergence of diabetic foot.

Specifics and treatment of MRSA colonised patients

This work deals with analysis of knowledgements of general nurses in nurse approach to MRSA positive patients. 120 nurses from infectious clinic, gerontometabolic clinic and surgeon clinic of Teaching hospital Hradec Kralove were asked by questionary. 87 answer sheets were elaborated. The result acknowledged a good level of knowledges, but it detected deficiencies of practical abilities. Limiting factors are conditions of health institutions within providing of care and ignorance of some special nurse techniques - isolation in cohort, rigorous barrier nurse system on bed, recommended by WHO safe hospital methodology.

The subjective perception of cardiac catheterization by the client considering the facture method

The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to compare transradial and transfemoral access to vessel during the heart cathetrization. considering the subjective perception of client. It is resumpting the present status of interventional treatment of heart diseases, summarizing the most impoilant methods of this treatment and adverts to significance of educating the clients. Empirical research is based on the informations captured from the interviewed clients of the catheterization laboratory in Hradec Králové and it is proposing to evaluate subjective perception of the invasive examination by the client. considering the vessel access.

Communication of patients with artificial lung ventilation

The Bachelor thesis concerns communication with patients having the artificial pulmonary ventilation. The theoretical part is dedicated to problems in the field of communication and artificial pulmonary ventilation. However, its main knowledge domain is mapping the possibilities of different communication methods and techniques with focus on people that are unable to communicate in a usual way. The empirical part of the study discovers awareness and skills in the field of communication among nurses who work with these patients. As a part of my thesis there are also two interviews with patients who communicate untraditionally.

Difficulties in Breast Feeding Full - Term New - Born Children

The Bachelor's Thesis deals the breast-feeding in term of difficulties, that can be found by mothers during a period of lactation. The Theoretical Part is discussing importance of the breast-feeding for a child, a mother and society and it includes instructions for the successful breast-feeding. There are especially mentioned the most frequent difficulties of the breast-feeding, prevention and finding solution of these difficulties. The consulting servise for the breast-feeding are mentioned, too. The Research Part is discussing the breast-feeding difficulties, that appear during first six month of child age. There are noticing ways of finding solution of breast-feeding problems, duration of the breast-feeding, reasons to stop the breast-feeding and specific factors, that influence beginning of breast-feeding difficulties. Surveyed sample contains breast-feeding mothers and their six-months-old children.

This bachelor thesis discusses the responsibility of the head nurse with the emphasis on introduction of new methods and techniques into practice. The theoretical part defines management functions, skills, styles of leadership and low level management positions. It describes scope of employment and the mission of the head nurse, problems of the change and efficient strategies for dealing with resistance against changes. The practical part contains analysis of the survey of head nurses working at the University Clinic of Hradec Králové and the Chrudim Hospital.

Feeding of patients, seniors in hospice

v AJ: The bachelor thesis deals with feeding of seniors in hospice. The aim of the thesis is to investigate the nutritional state of seniors in hospice, their dietary habits, and their satisfaction with feeding. The importance of nutrition, the main components of diet (proteins, saccharides, lipids, vitamins, minerals, and trace elements), examinational methods of nutritional state, and dietary system is emphasized in the theoretical part of the thesis. Further, the trophotherapy and the methodology of seniors feeding are defined. The bachelor thesis is based on the quantitative research using the method of questionnaire. The nutritional state od seniors in hospice, their dietary habits, and satisfaction with feeding are monitored thereby. The created questionnaire was distributed to patients, 65 years old and over, in hospice in Jaroměř and hospice in Hradec Králové. Education of Breastfeeding mother

The bachelor thesis deals with the broad issue of education of breast-feeding women, whereas the accent is put on the first-rate and unified education of a mother. Theoretical part is concentred to the importance of breast-feeding, principles of correct breast- feeding, composition of breast milk, impediments and solving problems in period of lactation and their prevetion. Part of the theory is education and educational process in nursing. Empiric part is formed by explorational investigation made for attestation of breast-feeding mothers` educational process quality realized by sanitary staff. Examined sample were mothers from the Department of puerperium of The Regional Hospital Rychnov nad Kneznou, Inc. A necessity of standard educational plan resulted from the explorational investigation, which would grant unified informations and sufficient time to the mothers for their questions. For mothers a manual of our education will be made to this educational plan. These educational materials will be helpful for uprating nursery care of mothers and their newborns at our workplace.

Local charges in selected towns in Czech Republic

This work deals with local charges in ten towns of the Czech Republic. These towns are as follows: Žďár nad Sázavou, Znojmo, Karlovy Vary, Příbram, České Budějovice, Benešov, Olomouc, Svitavy, Tábor a Šumperk. Analysis of rates and profits in individual charges and comparison within towns is also dealt with. In this comparison are used data from 2007. The work concludes with comparison of structure of profits from local charges in the whole Czech Republic. The significance of incomes from local charges in these ten towns is also analysed. The result of this search is that the share of local charges in the total incomes in individual towns is only on a low level.
