Dynamics of the Arab States' Positions in the Arab-Israeli Conflict and the Perspectives for Peace

The Middle East represents a region constantly engaged in multi-dimensional, complex conflicts involving the issues such as ideology, religion, ethnicity, territory, history, and others. One of these conflicts is that between the Jewish and Arab people which took the violent form after the official establishment of Israel in 1948. This dissertation looks at the Arab perspective of the conflict, particularly, at the dynamics of the frontline states' (Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and Egypt) positions in the Arab-Israeli rivalry, and the factors which influenced it. The conceptual approach involves historical overview and periodization of the conflict. These approaches allowed seeing the circumstances under which certain stances had been taken in the context of the Arab-Israeli conflict; these circumstances stand as the factors of change in dynamics. The analysis of the dynamics is based on the key assumptions of the realist theory of international relations such as centrality of the sovereign states and their self- interests, security dimension, and the relations of states determined by the relative levels of power, both economic and military. Regional languages in the French educational system

Beginning section of this thesis named Regional languages in the French education system is focused on a terminology concerning regional languages. Further content is focused on the history of languages in France since the Roman campaign on Gaul territory and the latinization of this region until the democratization of regional languages towards regular French. An important role in French education system development was played by education laws that are thoroughtly discussed in text of this thesis. The current distribution of regional languages in France and teaching of these languages in French schools is described in the next part of the thesis. This part is primarily focused on the four regional languages: Basque, Breton, Catalan and Occitan. Laws that permited the education of regional languages in France and faciliated the foundation of institutions intended to support these regional languages are also covered within this section. The research of today's state of Occitan in everyday life of Nîmes residents is covered in final part of this thesis. Occitan was chosen as the representative model of regional language. The Emotional inteligence of pre-school children

The thesis deals with the emotional intelligence and the emotional development of preeschool children. The theoretical part is focused on the definition of the terms children's emotional intelligence, emotions, emotional difficulties and also on possibilities of the emotional intelligence development. The aim of the practical part is to encourage the emotional intelligence development and to catch the process of realization in a group of children. This is complemented by a case history. The study is carried out with qualitative method by way of dialogue and involved observation. The conclusion of the thesis describes the project's realization progress and it finds out the utility of applied techniques from the point of view of the emotional intelligence development support.

The master's thesis The United Kingdom and the European Integration: Influence of foreign trade and monetary politics on the British attitude towards Europe between the years 1941 and 1973 explores the relationship of the United Kingdom towards European integration in a period from the end of the Second World War to the point of becoming a member of the European Economic Community in 1973. The relationship of the United Kingdom with Europe is studied by analysing international monetary and trade politics of the United Kingdom, its economic standing in the world and comparative strength of Pound Sterling. All of these variables played a key role in the development of aforementioned relationship. The aim of the thesis is to ascertain the role played by international monetary and trade politics of the United Kingdom in relation to European integration. The research itself is divided into three chapters and overall defined and underpinned by conjoining two theories of hegemonic stability and aspects of realist school of political economy. The Prevention of Specific Breakdowns in the Learning of Children with Interruptions in School Attendance

Children's school failures is one of the basic themes of pedagogical and psychological literatuře. Experts realize that remedy of learning faults cannot be oriented only at their expression, but that is necessary to watch chilďs education in the whole and in complexity of the problém. All the signs of the learning failures evoke no success in the pupil and they will project in his school work. They disable him to understand teacheťs instructions, to do ordinary tasks and to work in optimal rate. Unsuccess in the school work project on to chilďs psyche, influence his self-regard, they can evoke feelings of fear and aversion to the school work. Failures in learning influence even the situation in the family of the child. Iťs obvious, that the best remedy of the specifíc learning disability is to prevent them and so the research is recently aiming on the prevention the learning failures in the pre-school age. In this age can be eliminated particular deficits in the evolution of the child, which could be a sign of the start of the learning failure after entering the school. Druhá část se zabývá odlišnostmi v průběhu obchodního jednání s angolskými partnery. Tato část se věnuje také kulturním specifikům této země. Poslední kapitola je věnovaná bilaterálním vztahům mezi Českou Republikou a Angolou.

This diploma paper is dealing with a dilemma of the competition "Village of a year", arranged within The Rural Renewal Program. First, I focus on a conception of country-side and after on The Rural Renewal Program, which is realized under the competancy of the Ministry of Regional Development. From this program I choosed the competition "Village of a year". I am dealing with its history, development, conditions, organization, particular evaluations and I also mention some similar competitions abroad. In the next part of my work I am using a concrete municipality to find out, which activities led to its success in the competition. After, how did the municipality use the financial resour-ces gained from the competition and whether did it benefit in any other way.

The Position of Pupils towards Ethnic Minorities at Various Types of Primary Schools

My finál thesis provides a complex overview of relationships and attitudes of fifth and nine grade pupils towards selected ethnic minorities, mainly Slovák, Roma, Vietnamese and Ukrainian minorities. This páper studies the history and presence of the above mentioned minorities on the territory of Czech Republic. This páper also analyses the origins, structure and development of the attitudes of the younger and older pupils and points out the influence that school has in formation of these attitudes. It also aims to present the attitudes in a form of stereotypes or prejudices and once again points out how school affects the occurrence of stereotypes as well as how it helps to change these stereotypes. The finál thesis is based on the outcomes of qualitative research and identifies the ways in which the elementary school children are able to identify themselves with their nationality, studies their knowledge of other ethnic groups and what attitudes they exhibit towards other nationalities, especially Slovák, Roma, Vietnamese and Ukrainian. This páper also explores the interlinked relationships between school, family sphere and peers in connection ivith the formation of the attitudes towards ethnic minorities. The European Union strives to balance disparities between member states and their districts and reduce backwardness of the least favoured regions through Structural and regional policy. The first chapter describes general characteristics of the Structural and regional policy, history of the policy, defines basic principles of the policy and territorial statistic units NUTS. The second chapter is concerned with common description of particular program periods of support from structural funds. The third chapter puts brain to development of Czech republic and is divided according to particular program periods. In the fourth chapter I consider to working of structural funds in district of Hradec Králové. Last, the fifth chapter is oriented only to case studies of obtaining of financial resources of EU, which were realized at the district of Hradec Králové.

- The Issue of the Concept of Criminal Custody This diploma thesis deals with the instrument of criminal custody as a security instrument. This instrument is considered as quite controversial in view of the fact that it's usage means the conflict between the interest of the investigating authority to accomplish the purpose of prosecution and person's right to personal freedom guaranteed by the Charter of fundamental rights and freedoms while the accused has to be treated as innocent according to the principle of presumption of innocence. The goal of this diploma thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of the current legislation of the instrument of custody and also of the problems connected with custody. The thesis is divided into seven chapters including the introduction and the ending chapter. The second chapter deals with the development of the custody legislation in history and major part of the chapter is focused on the Act's of criminal procedure from years 1873, 1950 and 1961.
