Analysis and design of integration platform in environment of DATART International a.s.

The master thesis deals with system integration in the company DATART International a.s. focusing on analysis of current information system and descriptions of the integration of applications. The first part is theoretical and the main attention is paid to definition of system integration and related subjects. Explanation of these terms is essential for understanding subsequent chapters. The following section is devoted to analyzing and mapping of current technical solution of company's integration of applications. The last part comprises of designed proposal of company's new possible IS/ICT architecture with its main technical elements and their functionality. Moreover, the portfolio of projects which are necessary for implementation of the proposed solution is designed in this part. The main goal of this work is to map and assess the current situation in the DATART company. Sub-goal is to design a new architecture IS/ICT and to design company portfolio of projects related to proposed architecture of IS/ICT in company DATART International a.s. These goals were fulfilled through deep analysis of the company's environment. This analysis was performed in the cooperation with colleagues, experts from related branches and thanks to high-quality literature and information sources used. The contribution of this work consists of mapping of possible solutions of system integration in DATART and their evaluation. Another benefit is the proposal of new architecture of IS/ICT.

Possibilities for the use of modern music in liturgy

Proffesion role of a headmaster and the ethics of his work

This theoretical work deals with the ethics in the work of the headmaster of a primary school. After the definition of main terms, we describe the possibilities of the human morality. We mainly deal with the elements of pre-understanding the ethical practice, moral consciousness (awareness) and virtues. In the next chapter we define the proffesion role of a headmaster and the requirements on it on the base of different issues. The private ethics (morality) and the proffesion role (erudition) are the determinants of the decision-making and the behaviour of a headmaster in situations with ethical dimension. In the last chapter we focus on the point of the work that is the analysis of the relationships of a headmaster. That means the relationships with colleagues of a headmaster, with pupils, with superior and supervisory organs, parents, with the other subjects in context with the social responsibility of a primary school and its corporate culture. The aims of the analysis are the ethical aspects of relationships and the formulation of ethical dilemmas for headmaster's decision-making. After the critical evaluation, the work could be used as a foundation for creation of the code of ethics.

Japan's approach to regionalism: Economic partnership agreements

This work contains general characteristics of bilateralism as a new element of regionalism. Because Japan is the typical representative of bilateralism, this work aims at the approach of this country to regionalism, bilateralism and at list of Japan's bilateral agreements. The work describes especially factors which influenced the Japan's approach to regionalism, the way how Japan applies bilateralism and the content of its bilateral agreements. In the last part is described the first japan's bilateral agreement: Japan-Singapore economic partnership agreement.

Investment climate of Germany

The thesis is divided into five basic sections. The first one deals with brief characteristic of German economy and with different development in the FRG and GDR after the Second World War. The second chapter focuses on constituent elements of German investment climate, which are evaluated on the basis of PEST analysis. In the following part I deal with a system of investment incentives in Germany and with legislation which is related to it. In the fourth section an investment climate of eastern and western Germany are compared. The last chapter focuses on a flow of FDI to the FRG.

New trends in international transport of goods

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to give comprehensive information on emerging trends in international transport. The work adverts to international carriage of goods and transport services globally as the essential elements of the world economy. One part is devoted to new trends in the development of legal and institutional framework besides the technological advances in the various modes of freight transport. Another topic is the analysis of transport and storage devices with the auxiliary view on containerization which together with the multimodal transport represents the most important aspects within past fifty years. The last part of this work points to information technology utilization in order to maximize efficiency and safety of traffic.

Developing Web applications with regard to the specific needs of the contracting authority

Bachelor's thesis deals with development of web applications and is divided into 2 parts, the first one is theoretical and the other is practical. The theoretical part discusses about the history and todays status of web applications and web as a whole with a small view into the future. Another section deals with an architecture of web applications (modularity, database design, structure of storage, etc.). The last section of the first part describes elements which are needed for developing of web aplications, i.e. database, aplication server and programming language. Practical part describes the development of the reservation system based on Apache + PHP + PostgreSQL according to client's requirements. This section contains a list of requirements (for example need of domain registration, role definition for user access, etc.), practical instructions how to use the application (eventually how to pay attention to administration of database), information about how web application works from the perspective of the programmer (such as proces of including all modules into every page) and the content of the last sub-section is the procedure how to run the reservation system on a server.

Job analysis and creation of competency model related to a position in the company Linde Material Handling Czech Republic, s.r.o.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze a problem in a particular company and to suggest a solution based upon a work analysis and a competency model. The theoretical part deals with various approaches to defining competency, its elements and types. Following part of this thesis presents a work analysis, the stages of making a competency model and defines methods of competency measuring. The practical part applies the work analysis and the competency approach to the specific problem of personal management in the particular company. It is focused mainly on creation of the job description and a competency model for specific manager. The last part of this thesis also suggests a method for evaluating of worker on the basis of competency measuring.

SOA Adoption Using Framework NGOSS in Telecommunication Industry

This diploma thesis concerns Service-Oriented Architecture and possibilities of using framework NGOSS (New Generation Operations Systems and Software) by its adoption to organization. Diploma thesis is divided into four main parts. The first three parts are theoretical and are the foundation for the last practical part of diploma thesis. The first part is devoted to enterprise architecture and to their importance for a big company. The second part of the diploma thesis is devoted to framework, to their principles and importance in connection with enterprise architecture. In first chapters of this part is devoted to description of framework generally, while the last parts contain the description of particular framework for telecommunication industry named NGOSS. I describe its main characteristics and its main parts with emphasis on its part concerning architecture of information system named TNA (Technology Neutral Architecture). This TNA description also contains description of NGOSS contract, which is very important for practical part of diploma thesis. The third and the last theoretical part is concerned with service oriented architecture and its main architectural elements -- services. In the last and practical part of diploma thesis, I am trying to design NGOSS contract for the chosen SOA service and demonstrate its importance for SOA adoption. The end of the practical part contains conclusion on possibilities and benefits of NGOSS framework by SOA adoption.

Survey and Diagnostics of Reinforced Concrete Structure

The master´s thesis deals with concrete properties and it introduces problematics of building survey. In each part the study deals with diagnostic methods used for building construction. Then it closely examines selected methods, which are used for recognisability of steel reinforcement in concrete. In the practical part I conducted two engineering surveys of reinforced concrete industrial buildings. The main aims were to identify the position of reinforcement in selected elements of crane runway and to evaluate the quality of used concrete. The last part of thesis is focused on static assessment of short corbel of crane runway.
