93 Resumé Legal regulations for information responsibilities of municipalities as a part of a public budgetary system Budgets of local governments are very important parts of public budgetary system. In the Czech Republic through that municipalities' budgets large amount of taxes income and subsidies are distributed not only from state budget, but also from other providers of financial support (districts' budgets, European Union funds etc.). For this reason, it is essential that the government, Ministry of Finance and other providers check how the municipalities manage these resources. Basic information about the process of managing budgets, and their particular parts, supply statements with suitable data, in suitable form and created at the right time. Reports are the first step in the process of ensuring effective management of public finance. From their data governing bodies can gain a view of future development of financial management or evaluate the history of not only financial management and payments made, among other criteria To check this, analysis of variances are used. Legal policy of genetically modified organisms and Consumer Protection

This Bachelor thesis is focused on genetic engineering and its results. The aim is to familiarize the reader with the issue of biotechnology and its products, which are genetically modified organisms. The introduction of the work explains the basic concepts and describes the history of the biotechnology and genetic modifications in general. In this part are also listed examples of genetic modifications including information about testing and practical application in the Czech Republic. This scientific branch is in the very beginning and there are still ongoing series of programs and research in order to create new plants and animals. The second chapter briefly summarizes the positive and negative aspects of the use of genetic modification. The third chapter is focused on the legal regulation of this issue. The first subsection summarizes the Czech legislation, the second one summarizes European legislative shared by member states of the EU. Fundamental international organisations which are dealing with genetic engineering are not omitted in following subsection. Some international agreements are also mentioned. The last, it means fourth, chapter focuses on the consumers, not only as an object of the protection by government and international organisations, but also in terms of their attitude to genetically modified organisms used in the production process of food intended for the market. Subsections describe the issues of labelling GM-products and lack of awareness of people, they mention movements and non-profit organisations fighting against using GMOs in the products intended for human consumption and their use in general. This issue is connected with many risks including possible side-effects on human health. This section also describes general attitude of the consumers themselves to GM-products.

Internet Auction and its Legal Aspects

This work is focused on analyzing of internet auctions. The thesis is divided into two major parts. The first part deals with introduction to auctions including definition, historical overview and description of the most used types. The second part is focused on the relation of the internet auctions to different branches of law. The aim of this thesis is to give a comprehensive overview about the internet auctions, especially in the Czech Republic, mainly from the law-related perspective. It should offer the basic facts about this issue and possible solutions for improvement of legal regulation of this process of buying and selling goods or services.

"Legal Framework of Monetary Stability in the Euro Area" describes the effort of Economic and Monetary Union to maintain the monetary stability economically and legally. The first chapter is dedicated to the European union legal order and to developement of European Monetary Union. The second chapter apply of maintaining of monetary union, that means economic convergence, coordination of tax systems and monetary policy of European Central Bank. The last chapter analyses statistics of member states of European Union.

Working time and rest period

The bachelor's thesis is focused on working time and rest period under Czech legislation conditions that is influenced by Community law of European Union, which is the Czech Republic a part of. The subject of the thesis is a current issue, especially due to the extensive amendment to the Labour Code, which came into effect on 1. 1. 2012. The object of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of legal provisions concerning working time and rest period showing it's development and the current form of legal provisions. Additionally the comparison of the issue in six EU member states is not forgotten.

The selection of an appropriate legal form to found a sports club in a certain situation

A bachelor's work titled "The selection of an appropriate legal form to found a sports club in a certain situation" was created in 2013 by Marta Mrklasová, a student at the University of Economics, Prague, Faculty of International Relations, at the Departement of Business and European Law under the supervision of Mr. Mgr. Květoslav Žák. It evaluates an appropriateness of selected legal forms to found a sports club in a specific situation. The aim of this work is to choose the most suitable legal form to found a sports club, whose intent is to provide leisure sports activities for children, youth and adults in the field of aerobic gymnastics on the recreational level. The selection was made on the basis of general characteristics of selected legal forms, detecting useful information about those legal forms and consultations with several entities, which already exist in similar sectors. The result of this work is a selection of probably the most suitable legal form, a civic association. Among other the basic steps to create a civic association were described. This work can be an inspiration for potential founders of sports club in similar situation.

Environmental impact assessment

The main goal of this thesis is to analyze the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), which is one of the most important horizontal tools for environmental protection. The EIA process can be described as the procedure of identification and assessment of potential significant effects of a project on the environment. The information and outputs provided by the assessment process are considered by decision makers before a decision is made. The EIA process was first mentioned in the US in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) 1969. Then the EIA process was adopted in other economically developed countries. The beginning of this thesis is focused on two significant multilateral environmental agreements - The Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context (the Espoo Convention) and The Convention on Access to Information, Public Participation in Decision-making and Access to Justice in Environmental Matters (the Aarhus Convention). Then the EU legislation related to the EIA process is described (especially Council Directive 85/337/EEC - the EIA Directive). The following part analyzes the Czech legal regulation of the EIA process that is included in Act No. 100/2001 Coll. This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of a disguised employment relationship, otherwise known as the Svarc system. The theoretical part first introduces the main features and legal environment of self-employment and of dependent work, which are terms closely connected with the Svarc system. The Svarc system itself and contracts for work are also mentioned, because these contracts are often used to disguise employment. The practical part analyses examples from practice and on the basis of these develops recommendations for entrepreneurs about how to proceed when concluding contracts so as not to break the law. These recommendations are also accompanied by a model employment contract. Finally, the bachelor's thesis evaluates the Svarc system from an economic point of view.
