Charity Projects of Organizations Providing Care for Children with Disabilities in South Bohemia

The bachelor thesis "Charity Projects of Organisations Providing Care for Children with Health Disability in the Region of South Bohemia" deals with those projects that were founded by non-profit organisations and that provide care for children with health disability in the Region of South Bohemia. The aim of this thesis is to chart the charity projects of above mentioned organisations and to find out what is a proper and effective way to create them and what methods and procedures are used by non-state, non-profit organisations. The first research inquiry refers to a successful implementation of these projects. The result will be not only a realisation what kind of projetcs were created by the above mentioned organisations but also what is important for an organisation itself. Within the bounds of the second research inquiry I find out wheather there is an optimal procedure for the implementation of the charity projects of non-state, non-profit organisations. A qualitative method was used for a research part of this thesis. I used a method of a half-structured interview, a technique of a personal interview. A research group was selected for bringing the research into practice, which includes nine organisations seleceted from non-state, non-profit organisations providing a care for health disabled children in the Region of South Bohemia. It is more difficult for non-state, non-profit organisations it this field to obtain enough finances for providing services and for obtaining necessary aids than for state non-profit organisations because of different ways of fundraising . A non-state, non-profit organisation has several possibilities how to obtain necessary material and non-material sources. There are charity projects that offer means of selfless help; provided they are successful, they help the organisation to obtain necessary sources. It emerged from the research that it was very important for non-state, non-profit organisations to get a multi-source fundraising and supporters of their projects, mainly donors and sponsors, to obtain available care for children with heath disability. On the basis of the research, it is possible to state that non-state, non-profit organisations providing care for children with health disability, implemented many successful projects. The results of this thesis can be used in the way of an informative material for setting a complete view of a solution of the problems of the above mentioned organisations projects.

The introduction of quality management system according to ISO 9001

The thesis describes the design process and the documents required to meet the standards associated with the effective implementation of a quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001 in organization Zinková slévárna - Ing. Karel Dítě.
In the theoretical part of the work I explain the basic concepts and issues relating to the use of literature associated with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. This section also describes the general process for implementing the standards within an organization. Following on from this, I have used the knowledge gained from the theoretical section within the practical part of the thesis.
The practical part of my work includes a description of the selected organization from several perspectives - it is a focus, organizational structure, customer and supplier portfolio. This section also analyses the current state of the organization and includes a proposal to meet the ISO standards. The final section contains the documents necessary for the implementation of ISO 9001 within the organization, so that the quality management system corresponds to the prescribed standards.

Effect of dairy cows housing technology on mastitis occurrence

The objective of my bachelor thesis was evaluation of quality of housing, milking and making analysis of mastitis on chosen farm.
First part of the thesis contains of literature summary about housing technologies, mastitis issues, their detection, originators, therapy and factors affects against their incidence. Thereafter is this part focused on tipes of milking parlours, corect milking procedures and mechanized milking.
Materials and methodes of the thesis contains the characteristics of chosen farm where the quality and technology of housing, milking and nutrition of milk cows and other factors affecting presence of mastitis such as taking care of cloven hooves was watched in 2014. The incidence, detection and curation of mastitis was watched afterwards. Montamilk s.r.o. farm cradles 1,200 pieces of cattle and milk cows are about 419 out of it.
In the part of thesis named results was watched and evaluated inspection of efficiency in inspecting year 2013 - 2014, which was stated on first lactated cows and on cows which are on second and further lactation. Milk yield was far better with cows on second or futher lactation according to data gathered during the study and expressed by diagram. Diagram of milk components (fat and proteins), which was divided by lactation, was expressed in this part too. Other examinated parameters was occurrence of mastitis - which milk cows, in which season is the occurrence more often, treatment and cost of treatment for one cow. At the end the number of somatic cells for 2014 was represented in diagram for particular lactations.
In part of thesis called discusion the comparison was drowed between results from chosen farm and national average of efficiency checks. From results is obvious that milk cow in Mnotamilk has been better in first lactated cows by 427 kg and in second and more lactated cows by 602 kg than is the avarage in Czech republic.
Far more the milk components in Montamilk was compared with rest of Czech republic and the results was quite similar. The volume of fat of Montamilk cows was lower in every lactation in comparison with milk cows from Czech. Value of fat in Czech republic avarage first lactated cows is 3,87 % in Montamilk 3,85 % and the value of fat on second and more lactation cows is 3,86 % in Czech average and 3,81 % in Montamilk.

Managerial competencies

The theme of this thesis are the competencies of a manager. The work is divided into two
parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the concepts of executive
and management skills, executive function, managerial skills and managerial activities. It
includes individual competencies and competency models manager.
In the practical part will be focus on the enterprise "Sammit Motors (Vladivostok)." On its
example we will show, how managerial skills work in practice and how the competency
model is created.
The aim is to build a competency model specific to job positions in an organization. The
partial objectives focus on the analysis of the concepts of competencies and managerial
competency models.

Promotion of selected company

This thesis deals with one of the key marketing communication tool of Tesco company, which is a promotional leaflet. The aim is to evaluate how is visual design and user friendliness of leaflet perceived independently and in relation to competing leaflets. The first part defines the theoretical basis of the areas of marketing, marketing communications and marketing research. The following practical part of the thesis contains a two-phase marketing research composed of individual in-depth interviews, which is followed a survey. In conclusion, the research results are summarized. Based on the results proposals are recommended for possible improvements of the current version of leaflet.

Economic factors and profitabilty in woodworking industry

The diploma thesis was focused on identification of economic factors in the lumber factory and their influences on economic efficiency and competitiveness under real company conditions. The other aim was in the field of the economic viability of forestry and lumber sector. The sawmill Javořice, Inc. became the selected company because of its komplex history. The sawmill was analyzed by financial indicators for period 2003 - 2014. The axis was divided in three time frames, of that two periods are evaluated (1/2 - 2003 - 2006; 2/2 - 2011 - 2016). The second step gives a defines the current competitive environment, for the identification SWOT analysis and 5F were used. Results of thesis contribute to the issue of the economic viability of forestry and lumber sector in the Czech Republic. The impoving trend of financial stability with the deleveraging of the fianancial situation, which is a residue of the insolvency period, follow from the economic analysis of the sawmill Javořice, Inc. In the field of competition the situation in the company is relatively good. The thesis can be a valuable tool, with which everyone can evaluate the company and a partner with who can trade.

Cost development and ways of cost calculation in selected commodity

Bachelor thesis deals with ways of estimating costs for sugar beet in FADN and ZOD Potěhy. The theoretical part describes sugar beet from the biological point of view, its occurrence, inclusion in crop rotation and soil preparation, which is divided into fall and spring. Method of sowing affects the yield od sugar beet, as well as treating the soil before sowing. In conclusion cropped and sugar beet must be taken to a refinery. This section describes the costs and their classification. Methodological part deals with cost calculation, calculation methods, both overall and costs of sugar beet. It also describes profitability and its evaluation, time series and trend functions. The practical part evaluates the total area sown in the years 1995 - 2014, area sown with diabetes in the years 1995 - 2014, the total harvest of sugar beet in the years 1995 - 2014 and price developments relating to sugar beet growing. It also states costs for FADN in the years 2003 - 2012, support for this crop and its profitability. At the end gives the total income and expenses in ZOD Potěhy in years 2009 - 2013 and the costs and revenues for diabetes in 2014.

Proposal to upgrade the wastewater treatment technology in the selected Wastewater Treatment Plant

This thesis deals with the issue of waste water treatments from small sources of pollution. At the beginnig, there are characterized wastewater and important indicators for measuring the concentration of pollution, then this thesis describes the different technologies and technological equipment used in the treatment of wastewater from small sources. In the practical part of the work is designed to upgrade the technological part for processing waste water for area businesses METRO NITRA. The first part describes curent conditions of selected wastewater treatment plant. Next part describes in detail the proposed technological part and evaluation samplings. Later in this chapter is described the economic value and the expected schedule of work.The aim is to design WWTP upgrade with the technical and the economic assessment.

Project Risk Management

The thesis deals with project management with a closer focus on risk management in the selected company. First it was necessary to establish cooperation with the company. The work is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. First I describe the approaches of existing methodologies using common professional literature in the theoretical part. Then in the practical part I start with characterizing the company. I study current state of project management that I determine on the basis of internal corporate methodology, my own observation, and interviews with the Head of Strategic Projects Unit. I also study the status of project risk management that I determine on the basis of my own observation, structured collection of information, and follow-up interviews with employees. After that I design Project Risk Maturity model in the company. At the end of my work I evaluate existing information and propose improvements: risk management methodology for the company.
