Operating Data in TerraGear GIS Project
Samia, Michel ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with design and implementation of system for providing, loading and viewing geographical data from TerraGear GIS project with taking advance of SimGear library. System accesses digital terrain model and land cover data saved in Binary TerraGear file format via simple application protocol above TCP/IP and views it by FreeGLUT library.
Noise map in GIS
Keršner, Oldřich ; Čížek, Martin (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this Master’s Thesis is noise map creation and processing of measured data using ArcView 9.2 and its extensions. One - year Student Edition of ArcView 9.2 and its extensions have been provided by ARCDATA PRAHA, s.r.o. Noise maps are created from measured data in the neighborhood of the faculty building and the Moravian Square in Brno. Measurement of geographic position of measuring points is realized by GPS. For creation of noise maps, analysis and processing of measured data ArcGIS extensions - Spatial Analyst and Geostatistical Analyst were used. The last part of this Master’s Thesis is specialized on creation of 3D landscape model using ArcGIS 3D Analyst extension.
GIS System for City
Vrzáková, Hana ; Šilhavá, Jana (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
The bachelor thesis contains the study of geographical information systems, their standard usage and opportunities of technology. The city presentation's requirement and suggestion were investigated in order to make the generale definition of city's needs. The final application should present a universal solution for cities with extention's possibilities. The open-source tools were used for realisation, particularly the UMN Mapserver, GRASS and PostGIS.
Use of a special optical fiber in an electron microscope chamber
Černek, Ondrej ; Konečný, Martin (referee) ; Pavera, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is concerned about the modification of vacuum chamber of the Scanning Electron Microscope VEGA developed by TESCAN Brno s.r.o. in order to implementation of Scanning Probe Microscope. Moreover, it is dedicated to development of apparatus for using hollow optical fiber allowing the guidance of light and various gases on the sample surface placed in the vacuum of electron microscope. By using the hollow optical fiber as a probe of Scanning Probe Microscope, it is possible to work with a tip with specific properties. A brief introduction to Scanning Electron Microscopy and Atomic Force Microscopy is presented in the theoretical part. Furthermore, there is a technique of using optical fibers in Scanning Near-field Optical Microscopy described. Also a problem of vacuum systems, gas flow through the pipe and technique of Gas Injection System is introduced. In the construction part, there are initiated steps in the development of the vacuum chamber and the apparatus allowing the guidance of hollow optical fiber into the chamber of microscope. The experimental part presents the result of measurements obtained by probe of Scanning Probe Microscope with modified optical fiber and gas transmissivity of hollow optical fiber.
Analysis of escape routes in 3D building model
Halajová, Andrea ; Bartoněk, Dalibor (referee) ; Černý, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis is dealing about the Analysis of escape routes in 3D Building model. At first 3D BIM model, in format IFC, is extracted into the GIS software ArcGiS. From the model is created topology network, which representes the rooms and their connections. Based on this model is created the network analysis for building's escape routes. Results are 5 graphical representation of networks, web visualization and time required to exit from each room of the building.
Navigation System for Pilots
Kryl, Jan ; Vlk, Jan (referee) ; Mlích, Jozef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis concerns design and creation of a navigational system as a tool for pilots of gliders, paragliders, helicopters or ultralight planes. Rendering of map basis is critical part for realization of this project. The way of this rendering is described in the paper, including theory concerning the topic. The paper also contains description of draft and implementation of application.
3D model of Kojkovice municipality nerby Třinec
Szturc, Krzysztof ; Berková, Alena (referee) ; Bartoněk, Dalibor (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is creation of 3D model of part of Kojkovice municipality nearby Třinec. It describes the procedure of measuring and processing measured data. Next part contains detailed process of creation of the TINs both from measured data and from ZABAGED data granted by ČÚZK. Model is created using software ArcMap with 3D Analyst extension. Both models are then compared. The result of the thesis is a digital terrain model of chosen area.
Navigation for iOS
Sladeček, Martin ; Chrápek, David (referee) ; Ševcovic, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is a design and implementation of software mobile navigation for platform iOS, or more precisely an application for devices iPhone and iPad. Simple navigation enables the user to discover the current position, display map both in 2D and 3D mode and navigate to given destination. Target devices handle with GPS module to discover the current position. Maps sources are gained from the project OpenStreetMap and database system SpatiaLite provides preservation of geographical dates.
The design of the measures for flood protection in the small watershed
Hlavín, Tomáš ; Kameníčková,, Ivana (referee) ; Doležal, Petr (advisor)
The thesis objective is water managment measuare proposal for flood water interception and drainage which threatens Třebařov urban, next rate assessment of erosion danger. Township location was assigned by the thesis supervisor. The thesis result is proposal of furrows.
The design of the measures for flood protection in the small watershed
Hrnčíř, Rudolf ; Ing.Daniel Doubrava (referee) ; Doležal, Petr (advisor)
My thesis is focused on project of water management measure which should intercept torrential water endangering municipality Starovice. Intensity of soil ablation of affected land is evaluated by Wischmeier-Smith method. Based on the result of long-term soil lost and gathered materials and information three options of erosion control are suggested. Thereafter these options are compared on the basis of efficiency and the most suitable and the most effective option is selected. Also parameters of intercepting ditch are recommended and it is projected for capacity of direct water runoff from slopes above the ditch. As part of thesis maps were created using ArcGIS program and sample diagonal incisions of the intercepting ditch were created in AutoCad program.
