Risk Management Related to the Implementation of Smart Technologies

The author of the diploma thesis deals with the risks associated with the implementation of smart technologies in the production process. The purpose is to analyze, describe and evaluate the current situation in Industry 4.0 in the Czech Republic and abroad. Subsequently, corrective measures will be proposed to improve the current status. The output of the thesis is a proposal for risk management in the implementation related to the automation and digitization of the production process.

Abstract The master‘s thesis deals with the creating of business plan of the establishment for the processing and sale of beef. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part summarizes the theory, which contains the necessary theoretical background within which the analytical and solution proposal part is processed. The second main part is the analytical part, which summarizes the results of the questionnaire survey and strategic analysis. In the last solution proposal part, the business plan itself is created.
Risk assessment of the machine according to ČSN 12100:2011

This thesis deals with the safety of engraving machine. The main contribution of this thesis is the detailed implementation of the risk assessment according to valid standards. Further detailed design of measures to meet all safety requirements. Part of this thesis is familiarity with the machine and its current state and the procedure of risk analysis. Another part is the risk assessment. Conclusion of this thesis includes the documentation and ES certificate of conformity.
Automation for welding cell

The work deals with automation, safety and control of the welding cell. At the beginning the possibilities of communication between the PLC and the robot are discussed. Then the work moves on to the definition of the cell requirements and the design of the function concept. This design is followed by a risk assessment which is followed by the design of risk reduction measures, including the design of the specific equipment used. This moves the work to the design and implementation of the control program for the PLC and HMI. The safety features proposed in the welding cell safety section are also addressed in the program. Following the implemented control program, a verification plan is designed and evaluated. And in the last section, suggestions for further development of the welding cell are written and the achieved results are summarized at the end.

This Thesis deals with creating system for controlling risks based on critical analysis for chosen company. The company is called Vinařství Kovář and it's owned by Mr Miroslav Kovář, who is a wine producer. The first part of the Thesis is focusing on theory of controlling risks. The second part analyses current state of the company, it's risks and evaluation of the risks. The assessment of the risk is done by doing an FMEA analysis. This helps to find the most severe risks which are then eliminated with set actions. The last part of the Thesis contains suggestions of controlling the risks for the company to prevent or minimalise potential risks.

The first part of thesis is focused on theoretical background, which describes the basic concepts and methods of risk management. The second part of thesis includes indentifying risks in the company that were found by the internal and external analysis and methods for risk analysis. In the conclusion of thesis are recommendations for measures to help minimize risks in company on preventive or corrective level.

Control of special purpose machine tool

The master thesis treats the design of control system of special purpose machine tool. The first part analyzes and compares two possible variants of control system which use either a CNC control system Sinumerik or motion control system Simotion. Only the variant with the Simotion control system is subsequently examined in detail: its hardware configuration, the selection of components and partly also the software solution. The thesis further deals with the safety of the realized control system and of the whole machine. There are described general safety requirements of machinery based on harmonized European standards and their specific application in the design of safety functions and the safety circuits of solved machine tool.
