This thesis deals with the demand analysis of the company Apleg systems, Ltd., which focuses on the production, sale of fencing components and service providing in the form montages and advice. It characterizes the market in which the company operates, and analyses customers and factors affecting their demand through price elasticity of demand determines their reactions to price changes. Performs analysis of the company and the competition analysis and based on results of these analyses proposes measures to improve the competitiveness of this company.

Comparison of Selected Methods of Apartment Valuation in Brno - Černá Pole

This diploma thesis is focused on the comparison of selected methods of apartment valuation in the location of Brno - Černá Pole, in specific on the apartment valuation in brick buildings. The theoretical part describes the basic notions connected with valuation, describes the methods of valuation and also the valuated location itself. The practical part deals with the apartment valuation using these methods - the method according to price provision, specifically comparative technique, then the comparative method itself but not according to price provision and finally using the yield method for an assessment of the current price. In the conclusion there is comparison of all of these used methods.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to identify the influences on the inbound demand for Barcelona, which is one of the key tourist destinations in Spain. Both economic and non-economic factors affect inbound demand. Regression analysis and the method of least squares (OLS) were used to identify the factors influencing demand. The analysis results showed that there is a significant correlation between the average temperature at the destination and arrivals in Barcelona. The inbound demand was also significantly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, which reduced the number of arrivals.

The demand for sustainability in Ghana (a case study of eradicating poverty by means of achieving gender equality and empowering women and girls)

The demand for sustainability has become a crucial topic within modern society, as individuals, businesses, and governments alike recognize the importance of preserving the country for future generations. One of the major problems in attaining sustainability in Ghana relates to poverty. This study aims to examine the impact of gender equality and empowerment of women and girls contribute to reducing and eradicating poverty in the country. Data spanning the period 2001–2021, obtained from the Ghana Statistical Service and diverse academic journals, included a variety of female indicators that were used as independent variables to analyze dependent variables that impacted characteristics related to poverty. The autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) bound testing approach, which was created by Pesaran et al. (2001), was utilized in the investigation to ascertain whether a sustained link existed within the series. Results indicate that women who are educated positively affect all dependent variables used as factors that determine poverty and those in political sectors affecting most of them. Women's representation in the labor force, however, had no effect on the dependent variables. The study concluded the need to educate and empower more women and girls, especially in the rural areas and the Northern region. It also recommended the need for government and other agencies to review women who are in the labour force; perhaps most of them are not employed or have a low standard of living.

Private schools in the primary education system: case study of the Karlovy Vary Region

This diploma thesis focuses on private primary in the Karlovy Vary Region. It is a case study whose main aim is to present private primary schools in the context of the development of private schools at the national level. It looks at the trend of recent years, when there has been an increase in private schools across the regions of the Czech Republic. The thesis is based on secondary data obtained from relevant documents related to private education and from the known evidence available in the country. It presents the facts about private primary schools from the perspective of various authors who primarily deal with the topic in the Czech environment. The theoretical basis of the work is based on the supply and demand for education. Attention is also paid to parents as actors who have a significant influence on the existence of private primary schools. The research part provides insights into the market of private primary education in the Karlovy Vary Region. There are indtroduced individual schools that have been established in the region from 1991 to the present are presented. Production Model for a Restaurant

The bachelor thesis focuses on the modelling of the production system in terms of mathematical and statistical methods. In this thesis, the author examines in detail the issues of production processes in a restaurant and emphasizes on supply, purchasing and pre-preparation of food. The basis of the resulting model is statistical forecasting of demand for selected meals.

Ekologické zemědělství a poptávka po jeho produktech v obcích různé velikosti na Brněnsku

This thesis deal with organic agriculture and the demand for its products in the municipalities of different sizes in Moravia. Consumer behavior and demand for organic products was the aim of the questionnaire in the region. The questionnaire consisted of 18 questions and was completed by 150 respondents. The data obtained have been properly evaluated and processed into graphs. The results of the survey respondents the average awareness of organic food. After evaluation of the results have shown the organic foods most commonly buy women aged 19-35 years of Brno-country district with secondary education finished with an income of 10 000-19 999 Czk. Consumers of organic food shall be considered as expensive and their higher price is a major restriction to their purchase. They often buy vegetables, fruits and dairy products. Organic food they buy in specialized stores and health food stores, about once a month and these foods will spend the amount of 501-1 000 Czk.

Analysing Factors of Physical Activity Across Different European Countries

Sufficient physical activity is one of the most important factors for maintain our overall health. The positive effects of physical activity are reduced risk of heart disease or stroke, hypertension, type II diabetes and some types of cancer. Being physically active also improves our mood and reduce anxieties. Therefore, it is important to understand, what effects the level of physical activity of population. That is the aim of this study. The study describes the determinants of physical activity various five European countries, using the data from INHERIT survey. The analysis focuses on censored data and is conducted with sample selection Heckman Two-step estimator model, addressing separately the factors of deciding whether or not participate in an activity and performing the activity. The differences between determinants for three types for physical activities are examined.

Free time activities of elderly in the Liberec region

The thesis is focused on leisure activities of seniors in the Liberec region. The current situation of the main issue is theoretically described in the introduction of the thesis. Definitions of the concepts of a senior, aging and old age, leisure and leisure activities of seniors, and the needs of seniors are provided. At the end of the theoretical part, prejudices and stereotypes about old age presented. The practical part of the thesis contains the results of quantitative design research, which was carried out both in the form of a questionnaire of 300 seniors in the Liberec region, and by analyzing data - websites, the output of which is a database of publicly accessible leisure activities for seniors in district cities of the Liberec region. The main purpose of the thesis is mapping the situation in the area of publicly accessible leisure activities for seniors in the Liberec region. The results showed that there is no clear and comprehensive offer of publicly accessible leisure activities for seniors in the Liberec region. They learn about them mainly from the media and from relatives and acquaintances. This diploma thesis analyses the supply of gluten-free foodstuffs in the stores in the Domažlice area, based on the demand of the gluten intolerant customers. In the theoretical part, the basic terms related to the topic are explained, i.e. business terminology, marketing research and overall issue of celiakia and gluten. The practical part examines and evaluates the width and quality of supply of gluten-free products compared to the demand. The main purpose, that is removing the deficiencies which are perceived by the respondents mentioned in the questionnaire, will be completed by proposal of specific recommendation for the Domažlice area according to the wishes of the sick.
