Comparative study of discrete PSD controllers
Pelikán, Radek ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor's thesis was verification and comparison of heterogenous structures of discrete PSD controllers. First thing mentioned is method of converting continuous PID controllers to discrete PSD controllers. After that I described basic types and structures of discrete controllers. I verified the controllers using computer simulation and control of real systems. I described integral criteria of regulation quality and tried setting of controllers using Ziegler-Nichols method and on ITAE criterion minimum. I mainly focused at classic PSD controller and PSD controllers with filtration of derivative component in old and new design. All controllers were compared.
Implementation of PSD controller into microcontroler MCF52233
Lang, Stanislav ; Holek, Radovan (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of my bachelor thesis is the project and realization of a digital regulator, including the possibility of user’s settings. The first two chapters, which present a theory and a survey of the problem of digital regulation, offer an introduction as far as the used hardware (32-bit microcontroller M52233 from the company Freescale) is concerned. The main part of my thesis deals with the description of concrete implementation of regulation algorithms into the selected hardware as well as the communication with the regulation unit and the selection and basic configuration of the peripheral used.
Software for manual delineation of ECG signals
Jež, Radek ; Kozumplík, Jiří (referee) ; Vítek, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with evaluation EKG in terms of classification rhythm and analysis HRV. In theoretic part of work are described basics of heart physiology and its usual pathology, basics of electrocardiography, evaluation EKG and standard methods of HRV evaluation. In practical part are described algorithms used in created application. Mainly describes technique of rhythm evaluation, ectopic rhythms and delineation error elimination, data preparing for HRV evaluation, drift removal from DES and HRV evaluation methods. Created program was tested on CSE and MIT- BIH database records. For lack of suitable data and absence of tested data, it wasn’t possible to test all the classification rules of used algorithms. Tested part of program appears reliable and functional.
Thermostat for measuring passive component controlled of AVR
Demjanics, Ferenc ; Koňas, Petr (referee) ; Roubal, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this work is to familiarize with the design of the thermal test chamber to measuring passive components. Show features and involvement of selected circuits that ensure reliable operation of the device. For the realization of the role are the most important the Peltier cells and temperature sensors. But they can not work without the control unit. The control unit provides the necessary communication with each component and also with user. For this purpose we made a selection of suitable type of microcontroller and communication equipment (matrix keypad, LCD, buttons and LEDs). Subsequently was designed the algorithm to control the thermostat suitable for using in students training. The algorithm was written in the microcontroller in form of a program. There is also implemented a PSD controller in the program, which evaluates the data collected by a sensor. Then set the correct function of Peltier cells. After the thermostat was designed and realized, test measurements were performed and the results were documented and evaluated.
Industrial PID controller with autotuning and visualisation
Prudký, Miroslav ; Chomát, Luděk (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
The objective of the thesis is to create software, which implements industrial PID controller enabling smooth switch-over and automatic tuning of parameters. The next objective is to create visualization for this controller. Whole controller have to be implemented into PLC Power Panel (B&R company). At the beginning of the thesis there is theoretical description of all implemented algorithms (discrete control algorithms derived from PID, smooth switch-over, antiwindup, identification algorithms). In the following there is designed program structure, which is state machine-shaped. All algorithms are implemented in ANSI C at first as s-function for Matlab/Simulink program, which enables to simulate and verify the controller. Implementation of controller into PLC Power Panel through the use of Automation Studio program from B&R company is described in the next part. Visualization is created in the same program. Simulations and verifications on mathematical and physical model demonstrates functionality of implemented algorithms, but also points out some problems associated with the use of identification algorithms in real world (noise, quantization in A/D and D/A converter).
Estimator in control systems with variable structure
Dvořáček, Martin ; Mikšánek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
The thesis write about the linear discrete time incremental estimators. These are used for the choice of the best control system in systems with variable structure and further for direct control with status controller. There is an application of this on physical plane. In this paper PID variation controllers are discussed and optimized using Nelder-Mead Simplex Method. Feedback control with optimal PID is compared with control using linear discrete incremental estimators and status regulator.
Microcontroller based temperature controller
Perůtka, Martin ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of the work was to design and carry out a microprocessor driven temperature controller which will be operated by PC or immediately by its own control panel. The controller should serve, for example, as a regulation of temperatures in rooms, in ovens where electrical energy is used for heat production. This controller is able to measure temperature through connected temperature sensors, which means a thermistor PT1000 and a thermocouple type K, and to regulate temperature by the help of a heating body connected to the power output part of the controller. In this piece of work there is an issue of temperature measuring by the help of thermocouples and thermistors analysed, there are also mentioned the means of controlling and switching of alternating electrical tension for power operating and analysis of an issue of device connection and communication by the help of RS232 interface and USB with PC. The work also deals with a design of PSD controller with its subsequent realisation. The controller is tested on a micro-condensational siccative oven developed for the UTB research in Zlín.
Implementation and analysis of control circuits in MATLAB/Simulink
Hanuš, Tomáš ; Houška, Pavel (referee) ; Singule, Vladislav (advisor)
The thesis is focused on comparing the characteristics of the most common types of controllers. This comparison is done in MATLAB / Simulink to model the DC motor. First, in the thesis, theoretical description of all structures controllers that are tested. This is specifically the PID controllers, PSD, PI-D, PS-D, S-PD, I-PD, PID filtering of derivative and PSD also with this filtration. Then there is the function given the DC motor and its mathematical description. In the last section of the theoretical part describes the different methods of setting regulators. In conclusion, this thesis compares the structure of individual regulators. There are the results. A comparison of their behavior with position control of DC motor.
Implementace Case nástroje pro PSD
Zrůst, Vojtěch ; Svatoš, Oleg (advisor) ; Řepa, Václav (referee)
The objective of this thesis is analysis, design and development of an application used for the Process-State Diagram (PSD). Purpose of this thesis is to make PSD tool available for as many users as possible in order to make it a standard tool for managers and analysts. The theoretical part analyzes the basic functionality that should be included in the first version of this app and the strategy and the method of implementation. An important part of the analysis is to compare the three types of applications: desktop, web and mobile; and their relevance to a given problem. The practical part includes the actual implementation and the necessary steps to deploy the application.
Experimental Investigation of The Flow Pattern Behind Cylinder
Vítkovičová, R. ; Skála, Vladislav ; Čížek, J.
Investigation of the flow behind bluff bodies, especially for cylinder, is one of the highly topical research topics in the fluid mechanics. Nevertheless, mainly because of its complexity, this topic is still an open problem. This article discusses the running project at the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and it deal with the implementation of a methodology for measuring the cylinder wake in a wind tunnel and also recapitulates the partial results obtained measurements.
